Marianna W. (Wright) McClelland, 83, a lifelong resident of Masontown, Fayette County, Pa., died Saturday, April 15, 2000, in Bouras Personal Care Home, Farmington, where she had been a resident since June 1999. She was born in Ronco, Pa., September 6, 1916, daughter of the now late Richard K. Wright and Deborah Lloyd Wright. She was a retired Postmaster of Masontown, Pa., a member of First Presbyterian Church in Masontown, a Charter Member of the Masontown B.P.W., a graduate of the former Masontown High School, and a graduate of California University of Pennsylvania. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Army Lt. Ewing R. McClelland in 1945, an infant granddaughter, and four brothers, Richard K. Wright, Lloyd A. Wright, Thomas R. Wright, and Attorney Ben F. Wright. She is survived by three children: Ewing R. McClelland and his wife, Virginia, of Waynesburg, Pa., Dr. Ben W. McClelland and his wife, Susan, of Oxford, Mississippi, and Mary Jane Dooley and her husband, Edwin L., of Farmington, Pa.; and grandchildren: Ben L. McClelland, Amy L. McClelland, Ewing R. McClelland, Marianne Dooley, Edwin L. Dooley III and his wife, Tracy, Ryan McClelland, Brooke McClelland, Kellie McClelland, and Kevin Cooper. Friends will be received in the J. HARRY JOHNSTON FUNERAL HOME, 65 North Gallatin Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., on Wednesday, April 19, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m., the hour of service with the Rev. Paul N. Frank officiating. Interment will follow in Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown, Pa.
Elsie Wilson Price
Elsie Wilson Price, 100, of Uniontown, Pa., died Sunday, April 16, 2000, at Beverly Healthcare Center. She was born November 23, 1899, in Henry Clay Township, Fayette County, Pa., daughter of William McClelland Wilson and Lillie Kennison Wilson. Mrs. Hunt officiating. Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
Josephine M. Caputo
Josephine M. (Smearcheck) Caputo, 76, of Ross Township, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2000, in Passavant Hospital.
Josephine was a clerk for Kaufmanns Department Store.
Surviving are three brothers, William Smearcheck Sr., of Nemacolin, Pa., Edward of California, and Richard of Ohio; one sister, Cecilia Logan of Masontown; beloved friend, Samuel Seminatore; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held in the Devlin Funeral Home, 806 Perry Highway, Ross Township.
Blanche T. Cucura
Blanche T. (Mulich) Dutkewycz-Krofcheck-Cucura, 92, of Lemont Furnace, Pa., died Tuesday, July 4, 2000, in Uniontown Hospital.
She was born March 24, 1908, in Oliver, Pa., a daughter of the late Joseph and Blanche (Butz) Mulich.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank Dutkewycz on Aug. 11, 1948; her second husband, Valentine Krofcheck on Nov. 2, 1970; her third husband, Mike Cucura on Feb. 15, 1989; a daughter, Rosalee Wilson; four brothers; and six sisters.
She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, and was a retired employee of Berkowitz Shirt Factory.
Surviving are three sons, Joseph Deskovich of Hopwood, Pa., Edward Dutkewycz and wife, Dolly of Lemont Furnace, Pa., with whom she made her home, and Francis Dutkewycz and wife, Carolyn of Fairchance, Pa.; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; four sisters, Antoinette Cratsley of Youngstown, Ohio, Pauline Pelish of Warren, Mich., Elizabeth Mulich of Oliver, Pa., and Nellie Bergagna of Youngstown, Ohio; and many special nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the HAKY FUNERAL HOMES INC., 139 West Fayette St., Uniontown, today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m., and Friday, July 7, 2000, until 9 a.m., when a Blessing Service will be held, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9:30 a.m., in St. Joseph R.C. Church, with the Rev. Fr. Alexander L. Pleban as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Hopwood.
Charles Cunningham
Charles W. Cunningham, 90, of Star Route, Mount Pleasant, died Sunday, July 2, 2000, in Harmon House, Mount Pleasant.
He is survived by his wife, Mabel C. Cooper Cunningham; three sons, Richard L. Cunningham of Mount Pleasant, Donald C. Cunningham of Mineral Wells, W.Va. and Rev. Charles W. Cunningham Jr. of Bolivia and a daughter, Patricia McCormack of Chambersburg.
Friends will be received at Luther J. Grimm Funeral Home, Mount Pleasant today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. until 11 a.m. Friday.
Thomas E. Furlong
Thomas E. Furlong, 80, of Brownsville, Pa., passed away Sunday, July 2, 2000, in Brownsville General Hospital.
He was born August 19, 1919, in Centerville Borough, Washington County, Pa., son of Earl Furlong and Elsie Rankin Furlong.
He was Methodist by faith.
Mr. Furlong was a former employee of the A&P Tea Company in Brownsville, Pa., where he worked for over 45 years.
He also owned Thomas' Beauty Shop in Brownsville.
He was a Veteran of World War II.
Two brothers and his parents preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Betty Harrison Furlong; two children: Vaughn Furlong and his wife, Kathy, Hamilton, Ohio, and LuAnn and her husband, Fred Hill, Pittsburgh, Pa.; five grandchildren: Beth Quinn, Fred Hill and Scott Hill all of Pittsburgh, Pa., Dr. David Furlong, Brownsville, Pa., and Dana Furlong, Hamilton, Ohio; three great-grandchildren: Brendan Hill, Alexis Hill, and Katlyn Furlong; brothers and sisters: Harry Furlong, Brownsville, Pa., Wallace Furlong, Hiller, Pa., Dorothy Kuty, Brownsville, Pa., Wilma Kuhta, Uniontown, Pa., and Alice Danko, Vesta Seven, Pa.; also numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the SKIRPAN FUNERAL HOME, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m., where Funeral Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Paul E. Wilson Sr., officiating.
Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.

Jacob H. Grace Sr., 68, of Connellsville, died Sunday, July 2, 2000, at his residence.
He is survived by two sons, Jake H. Grace Jr. of Connellsville and Jeff Grace of Creston, Ohio; two daughters, Patty Bath of Borden, Ind., and Ruth Buie of Clarksburg, Ind.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a brother, Emery Grace of Dayton, Ohio.

Katherine M. Hanna, 74, of Lauderdale By The Sea, Fla., died Saturday, July 1, 2000.
She was the wife of Michael D. Hanna of 54 years; mother of Michael D. Hanna Jr., of Upper St. Clair, Gerarda A. of Hancock, N.H., Mary P. of Escondido, Calif., and Mark P. of Whitehall; sister of Mildred Stager of Parma, Ohio, and Elizabeth Elias of Masontown, Pa.; and grandmother of Ashley E. Hanna of Upper St. Clair.
Services were Privately held in St. Gabriel of The Sorrowful Virgin Church. Arrangements were handled by the JOHN F. SLATER FUNERAL HOME INC., Pittsburgh.
Wilbur Dean Hartman
Wilbur Dean Hartman of Detroit, Mich. formerly of South Connellsville, died Tuesday, July 4, 2000, at his home.
He is survived by a son, John; a daughter, Sharon; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three brothers, Floyd and Earl Hartman of South Connellsville and William Hartman of Dunbar; four sisters, Faye Welker and Betty Haines of Connellsville, LaVerne Blosnick of Rices Landing and June Kulczak of Maryland.
Services were held in Detroit, Mich.
John D. Koposko Sr.
John D. Koposko Sr., 77, of Uniontown, Pa., died early Tuesday morning July 4, 2000, at his residence with his loving family by his side.
He was born November 21, 1922, in Uniontown, Pa., son of Andrew Koposko and Ann Harchar Koposko.
John was a member of United Mine Workers of America and Ss. Cyril & Methodius Roman Catholic Church in Fairchance, Pa.
He was employed as a Heavy Equipment Operator most of his life at various coal companies and retired from Luzerne Coal Company in 1984.
John also enjoyed his family and the simple way of life. He liked gardening, talking to his neighbors, and working on cars in his garage.
His memories will be cherished!
Three sisters, Ann, Agnes and Veronica Koposko, brother, Andrew Koposko, and his parents preceded in death.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Josephine M. Varva Koposko; children: John F. Koposko Jr., Uniontown, Pa., Regina M. Koposko Cox and husband, Roy Cox, Lugoff, South Carolina, Roseann Kurutz and husband, Bob Kurutz, Uniontown, and Susan J. Koposko, Uniontown; his granddaughters-he was lovingly known to them as Pap Pap": Suzanne Cox, Lugoff, South Carolina, Danielle Mullen, Nicole Mullen, and Heather Mullen all of Uniontown, Pa., and Emily Cox, Lugoff, South Carolina; and brothers: Elmer Koposko, Windber, Pa., Vincent Koposko, Uniontown, Pa., and Rudy Koposko, Uniontown. Also survived by a very special friend, Elmer Saltrik of Markleysburg, Pa.
Friends will be received at the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 WEST CHURCH STREET, FAIRCHANCE, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m., Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Saturday, July 8, until 8:30 a.m., when a prayer service will be held.
A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 9 a.m., in Ss. Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church, Fairchance.
Interment will follow in Saint Joseph's Cemetery, Fairchance, Pa.

A Parish Wake Service will be held today at 8 p.m.
