Bernard S. Prah Sr.
Bernard S. Prah Sr., 64, beloved husband of the late Norma; dearest son of Martin J. Prah and Anna J. (Unetich) Prah; loving father of Bernard S. Prah Jr., Robert J. Prah and Catherine Pavosevic; dear brother of Joseph, Edward, Mary Jane Lucia, Teresa Perrotta, Cecelia Cain, Martin Prah (deceased) and Anna Prah (deceased); and dearest grandfather of eight; and great-grandfather of one.
The family received friends in the ZAK FUNERAL HOME, 6016 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, Ohio, on Wednesday. Funeral Services will be held today at 9:30 a.m. Chapel service will be followed by a 10 a.m., Mass at St. Francis Church (East 71st and Superior). Interment will be in All Souls Cemetery.
Michael Rusnak
Michael "Pappy" Rusnak, 86, of Brownsville, Pa., died Tuesday, May 2, 2000, in Beverly Health Care, Uniontown.
He was born Jan. 26, 1914, in Wendel, W.Va., a son of the late Michael Rusnak Sr., and Veronica Mayernick Rusnak.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, John and Andrew Rusnak; sisters, Mary Serbak and Elizabeth Woskobnik; stepdaughter, Kay Spencer; step-grandson, Robert Shaw; and his wife, Helen Vitale Rusnak, with whom he celebrated 25 years of marriage prior to her death in 1978.
Michael attended weekly services at Beverly Health Care conducted by the Rev. Gary R. McFadden of the House of Prayer of Smock. He formerly attended Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, McKeesport. Before retiring, he was a garbage man for the former Jonas Trucking, Monongahela.
Surviving are children: John Michael Rusnak of Amherst, Ohio, Mary Lucille Shaw and her husband, Clifford of Brownsville, and Paul Rusnak and his wife, Donna of Charleroi; sisters, Annie Charleton of Elyria, Ohio, Veronica Kobac of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Pauline Hartos of Port Vue, Pa.; a brother, Paul Rusnak and his wife, "Mim" of Cranston R.I.; nine grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and eight step great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends in the CONFER FUNERAL HOME, 515 Front St., Browns-ville, today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Graveside services will be conducted by the Rev. Gary R. McFadden at 10 a.m., on Friday, May 5, 2000, in Taylor Cemetery, Brownsville.
Katherine Santucci
Katherine "Katie" Santucci, 81, of Clarksville, Pa., died Wednesday, May 3, 2000, in her home.
Mrs. Santucci was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Frank Santucci, whom she married on Nov. 13, 1948; one daughter, Patricia Radjenovic of Clarksville; two sons, Frank M. Santucci of Clarksville, and John R. Santucci of Jefferson; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Nick Andrusky of Clarksville; and one sister, Eva Kolat of Clarksville.
Friends will be received in the Behm Funeral Home, Greene Street, Jefferson, today from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where a Blessing Service will be held at 9:30 a.m., on Saturday, May 6.
Sophia Sepic
Sophia (Rogish) Sepic, 85, of North Oaks, Minn., formerly of Uniontown, Pa., died Wednesday, May 3, 2000, in the White Bear Lake Nursing Facility, White Bear Lake, Minn.
Friends will be received in the Haky Funeral Homes Inc., 139 West Fayette St., Uniontown, Pa., on Friday, May 5, 2000, from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced at a later time.
John N. Syrek Jr.
John N. Syrek Jr., 79, of Adah, Pa., died Wednesday, May 3, 2000, in Arlington Hospital, Arlington, Va.
He was born Oct. 20, 1920, in Edenborn, Pa., a son of the late John N. and Rozalie Syrek.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Lloyd, Vince, Edward and Joseph Syrek; and two sisters, Mary Chaney and Helen Novotny.
Mr. Syrek was the former owner and operator of Masontown Sports Center. He served his country during World War II, in the U.S. Marine Corp, was a retired machine shop instructor for the Fayette Area Vocational Technical School, and was formerly employed with U.S. Steel Robena Works and Pittsburgh Coal Company.
He was a member of St. Thomas Roman Catholic Church of Footedale, Pa., the Fort Mason American Legion Post 423, and Faith-Gray-McArdle V.F.W. Post 4584.
Surviving are his loving wife, Ann "Anka" (Matalik) Syrek, with whom he would have celebrated 54 years of marriage today, May 4; three children, Eileen M. Syrek of DeBary, Fla., John E. Syrek and his wife, JoAnn (Demniak) of Jefferson, Pa., and Gary J. Syrek and his wife, Patricia (Gearing) of McClellandtown; four grandchildren, Kristy Syrek, Lisa Syrek, Gary Syrek and Cortney Syrek; a sister, Estelle McKean of New York; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the HAKY FUNERAL HOMES INC., 515 North Main St., Masontown, Pa., on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m., on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Monday, May 8, 2000, until 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m., in St. Thomas R.C. Church, Footedale, Pa., with the Rev. Fr. James Popochock as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Footedale, where military services will be accorded by V.F.W. Post 4584, and American Legion Post 423. A Parish Wake Service will be held on Sunday at 7:30 p.m.
Ann P. Bronskole
Ann P. Bronskole, 79, of California, Pa., died Tuesday, April 10, 2001, in University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
She was born Nov. 15, 1921, in California, Pa., daughter of the late Luigi and Pascuale (Arcedipane) Bartolotta.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James in 1952; four brothers; and two sisters.
Surviving are a sister, Frances Hoffman of Carnegie, Pa.; a brother William A. Bartolotta of California, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth St., California, Pa., on Friday, April 13, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A prayer service will be held, in the funeral home, on Saturday, April 14, at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Gerald R. Domonkos
Gerald R. (Jerry) Domonkos, 64, of Perryopolis, Pa., died Wednesday, April 11, 2001, at 5:30 a.m., in Jefferson Hospital.
He was born Feb. 19, 1937, in Mt. Pleasant, Pa., son of the late John and Ida Farlow Domonkos.
Jerry was a member of the First Christian Church of Perryopolis.
He coached youth football and baseball for 23 years.
Jerry was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving with the United States Marine Corp as a Private First Class.
Surviving are his wife, Millie Valosich Domonkos; one son, Jerry Domonkos; two daughters, Mrs. Bruce (Renee) Smith and Mrs. Ron (Wendy) McGee, all of Perryopolis, Pa.; six grandchildren, Danielle Hamel and husband, Jeff, Jericho Domonkos, Amber Smith, Tyler Domonkos, Courtney Domonkos and Sarah McGee; a great-granddaughter, Isabelle Hamel; and one brother, Jon Domonkos and wife, Elsie of Perryopolis, Pa.
Friends will be received in the BLAIR-LOWTHER FUNERAL HOME INC., 106 East Independence St., Perryopolis, today from 7 to 9 p.m., Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Saturday until 11 a.m., the hour of service, with the Rev. Alex G. Dufala Jr.
Alex G. Dufala Jr., 80, of Masontown, Pa., died Monday, April 9, 2001, in Uniontown Hospital.
He was born on July 2, 1920, in Grindstone, Pa., a son of the late Alex Dufala Sr., and Katherine (Ference) Dufala.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Nolan and Cathy Dufala.
Mr. Dufala was a member of St. Mary’s Assumption Byzantine Catholic Church of New Salem, Pa., and St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church of Uniontown, Pa.
He was a coal miner retired from U.S. Steel Corporation, a member of United Mine Workers, District 2, Robena Local Union 6321, Knights of Columbus Council 4621, Edenborn Volunteer Fire Department, Messmore Rod and Gun Club, and a Social Member of the Fort Mason American Legion Post 423.
Surviving are his loving wife of 52 years, Pauline (Kachersky) Dufala, whom he married on July 2, 1949; two sons, Bill A. Dufala Sr., and wife, Margo of Macedonia, Ohio, and David P. Dufala and wife, Vanessa of Ashtabula, Ohio; five grandchildren, Dawn Marie Dufala, Bill A. Dufala Jr., Pamela Ann Dufala, Brent R. Dufala and Alex N. Dufala; six brothers and sisters, John Dufala of Cleveland, Ohio, Margaret Muench of Masontown, Pa., Joseph Dufala of Bedford Heights, Ohio, Irene Szczepaniak of Lakewood, Ohio, Annabelle Zelinko of Organt, Ohio, and Helen Dufala of Detroit, Mich.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Fr. Richard Whetstone and the Rev. Fr. Jerome Botsko as concelebrants. Interment will follow in Mount Macrina Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
Irene Houston
Irene Houston, 92, of Buffalo, N.Y., died Sunday, April 8, 2001 in Buffalo General Hospital.
Surviving are one daughter, Geraldine T. Sawyer of Masontown, Pa.; one grandson, Pastor Timothy Sawyer and wife Donita of Jeanette, Pa.; one great-grandson Justin Turner of Jeanette, Pa.; other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 12, 2001 at 12 noon from the Calvary Baptist Church, Genesee St., Buffalo, N.Y.

James Marion Leadbetter, 56, of Uniontown, Pa., died Wednesday, April 11, 2001, at his residence.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Catherine Baugh Leadbetter; his former wife, Mabel Miller; a son, James Marion Leadbeter of Atlanta, Ga.; a daughter, Jamie Lynn Myers and her husband, Kevin of Uniontown; a granddaughter, Ashley Leadbeter; two grandsons, Jeremy and Cody Myers; two brothers, Robert Leadbeter and his wife, Rosemary of Kent, England, and Roger Leadbeter and his wife, Lisa of Mapleton, Ga.; and two sisters, Kathy Yahner of Kent, Ohio, and Joan Clever of Farmington, Pa.

Donald R. Lindsey
Donald R. Lindsey, 64, of Amend, Pa., died Wednesday, April 11, 2001, at home.
He was born Feb. 20, 1937, in Amend, Pa., son of the late Levi and Freda (Nehls) Lindsey.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shelby (Ribinsky) Lindsey, in 1987; brothers, Robert Alvin Lindsey, James Lindsey and Herman Lindsey; and a sister, Gladas Lindsey.
Donald retired from the Maintenance Department of the YMCA, and was formerly employed with Volkswagen.
He is survived by his son, Donald L. Lindsey and wife, Clea of Amend, Pa.; a granddaughter, Natassia Lindsey of Amend, Pa.; and the following brothers and sisters: Charles Lindsey of Fairchance, Pa., Dorothy Kovach of New Salem, Pa., Albert Lindsey and wife, Helen of Footedale, Pa., Ruth Ludrosky and husband, Paul of Masontown, Pa., Frederick Lindsey and wife, Carolyn of Cleveland, Ohio, Harry Lindsey of Cleveland, Ohio, Edward Lindsey and wife, Jackie of Hays, Pa., and Kenneth Lindsey and wife, Lois of Amend, Pa.

William C. McJunkin
William C. McJunkin, 22, of Falling Waters, W.Va., died Tuesday, April 10, 2001, in Falling Waters.
He was born Dec. 1, 1978, in Monongahela, Pa., the son of Sherry Burcker McJunkin of Falling Waters, and the late David Edward McJunkin Jr.
He is the grandson of Frances McJunkin of Brownsville, Pa.; great-grandson of Fannie Burcker of Greencastle, Pa.; brother of Valerie Campbell and her husband, Jason of Falling Waters; uncle of Kayla Bashay Campbell; and special friend of Joe Reeves.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2001, at 1:30 p.m., at the BROWN FUNERAL HOME, with the Rev. Christopher Stouffer officiating. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
