Jennie Lee Corazzi
Jennie Lee George Corazzi, 89, of Fredericktown, Pa. died unexpectedly Wednesday, October 25, 2000 at 12:38 p.m. in the emergency room of the Brownsville General Hospital.
She was born May 11, 1911 in Leckrone, Fayette County, Pa., daughter of the late Olento George and Italia Bentauini George.
She retired in 1973 as an employee of the Bartoletti Hotel in Fredericktown.
She was a member of the Beth Center Senior Citizens of Vestaburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bruno "Slick" Corazzi who died Feb. 19, 1956; one sister, Solesca George; and one brother Boris George.
Surviving are two sons, Leonard A. Corazzi of Fredericktown and Edward G. Corazzi of Fort Wayne, Ind.; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Ivan George of Erie, Pa.
Friends will be received in the GREENLEE FUNERAL HOME, 42 Bank, St. Fredericktown Hill, Fredericktown, Pa., from 2 to 9 Friday where a Blessing Service will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2000 at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Edward S. Litavec officiating.
Interment in Fredericktown Cemetery.
John Csmos
John "Smokie" Csmos, 67, of Oliver, Pa. died Monday, October 23, 2000 in the VA Medical Center, Oakland, Pa.
He was born April 10, 1933 in Uniontown, Pa., a son of the late Michael and Anna (Petruska) Csmos.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Harry and George Csmos; and sister, Mary Stickle.
John was an U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean War, was a member of VFW Post 47, American Legion Post 51, and AMVETS Post 103.
He is survived by a sister Anna Csmos of Oliver 1, Pa.; brother, Michael Csmos Jr. and wife Jennie of Uniontown, Pa; sister, Helen Scabis and husband Joseph of Lanham, Md.; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in THE HAKY FUNERAL HOMES INC., 139 West Fayette Street, Uniontown today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Friday, Oct. 27, 2000 until 11 a.m. when a Panachida Service will be held with Rev. Fr. Richard Whetstone officiating.
Interment will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Hopwood, where Military Rites will be accorded by VFW Post 47.
Parastas Service at 7:30 p.m. today.
Ann V. Duckett
Ann Vargo Duckett, 80, of Garwood, N.J., and formerly of the Brownsville area, died on October 16, 2000 in Union Hospital, New Jersey.
Surviving are a son, Ronald Duckett; daughter, Susanne Fenner; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Andy, Peter, and Steve Vargo; and a sister, Helen Donahue.
Services were held in New Jersey under the direction of the Dooley Funeral Home.
Jerry A. Harris III
Jerry A. Harris III, 5 months, of Uniontown, Pa., son of Jerry Harris Jr. and Toni Burchfield, quietly slipped away Wednesday, October 25, 2000.
He was born May 4, 2000 in Uniontown.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by three sisters, Kima, Khai, and Rhiana, all of Uniontown; paternal grandparents, Jerry Harris Sr. and wife Beverly of Uniontown; maternal grandparents, Donna Tunstell and Frank Tunstell of Uniontown, and Leroy Brown and wife of Montgomery, Ala.; uncles, Mylan and Brandon Harris, and Nathan Burchfield, all of Uniontown; aunts, Donna Wade, and Tere’s Grigsby of Uniontown; other great-aunts, uncles, cousins; and other relatives.
Friends will be received in the MURIEL E. LANTZ FUNERAL HOME, 297 East Main Street, Uniontown, Pa., on Friday from 5 to 9 p.m., where services will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2000 at 11 a.m.
Stanley J. Krzysiak
Stanley John Krzysiak, 85, of Uniontown, Pa. passed away Monday, October 23, 2000 in his home.
He was born March 10, 1915 in Trauger, Pa., the son of the late Joseph and Alexandra Babel Krzysiak.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary K. Zaucha Krzysiak, and brothers, John Krzysiak, Walter Krzysiak, and Bernard Krzysiak.
Stanley was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church where he was a long time member of the ushers.
He was also a member of the Teamsters.
Surviving are his beloved wife, Helen Zaucha Hibbs Krzysiak; a daughter, Dolores Miller and husband Jack of Uniontown; sons, Fred Krzysiak and wife Sandy of Ijamsville, Md., and Don Krzysiak and wife Debbie of Uniontown; grandchildren, Mary Jane Miller, Patrick Miller and wife Paula, David Miller and fiancee Courtney Scott, Jaclyn Miller, Todd Krzysiak and wife Julie, Troy Krzysiak and Sean Krzysiak; great-grandchildren, Maura, Marlaina, Mallory, and Ananda Miller; brothers and sisters, Louis Krzysiak of Copley, Ohio, Valeria Blasinski and husband Walter of Meadville, Pa., Victoria Mientus of McDonald, Ohio, Andrew Krzysiak and wife Veronica of Austin, Texas, Martha Vetowich and husband Walter of Farmington, Mich., and Bertha Hrebenar and husband Robert of Tennessee; and many nieces and nephews.

Church with Rev. Father Alexander Pleban as celebrant.

Mary T. Verbos
Mary T. Verbos, 92, of Edenborn (McClellandtown), Pa. died on Tuesday, October 24, 2000 in the Uniontown Hospital.
She was born in Yugoslavia, a daughter of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Stulac) Viher.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nick L. Verbos; sons, Nick L. Verbos Jr. and Joseph Verbos; and many brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Verbos was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help (St. Marys) Roman Catholic Church, Leckrone, Pa.; a member of St. Marys Altar Society, member and past president of the Rosary Society, member of the Fort Mason American Legion Post 423 Ladies Auxiliary, Edenborn Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, Ladies Edenborn Socialette Club, retired life member of the German Township School Association, and past member of the Uniontown Slovak Club.
Prior to her retirement, she had been employed for over 13 years as the chief cafeteria cook for the German Township High School and elementary schools.
Surviving are six children: Mary A. Keslar of Puritan, Pa., Lawrence Verbos of Strongsville, Ohio, Mrs. Joseph (Dolores) Dufala, and Mrs. Robert (Yvonne) Ford, all of Bedford Heights, Ohio, Edward Verbos of Middleburg Heights, Ohio, and Leonard Verbos of Pittsburgh, Pa.; 19 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; a brother, Lawrence Viher of Uniontown, Pa.; two sisters, Barbara Cerjanec of Detroit, Mich., and Catherine Greenes of Arizona; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in THE HAKY FUNERAL HOMES INC., 515 North Main Street, Masontown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Friday, Oct. 27, 2000 until 10 a.m., when a Prayer Service will be held, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help (St. Marys) R.C. Church, Leckrone, Pa., with Rev. Fr. Andrew M. Kawecki as celebrant.
Interment will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Leckrone, Pa.
St. Marys Rosary Society will recite the Rosary today at 3 p.m. followed by Ritualistic Services by the Edenborn Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary at 3:30 p.m., and the Parish Wake Service at 8:45 p.m.
Michael Wokulich
Michael Wokulich, 86, of Fort Myers, Fla., formerly of Mars, Pa., died Tuesday morning, October 24, 2000 at Mount Macrina Manor in Uniontown, after an illness.
Born in Van Voorhis, Washington County, Pa., on August 16, 1914, he was the son of the late Alexii and Maria Hrib Wokulich.
Mr. Wokulich had been a co-owner and Vice President of Fey Steel Company.
A member of All Saints Roman Catholic Church in Masontown, he was a former member of St. Kilian R.C. Church in Mars and Holy Sepulcher R.C. Church in Glade Mills. He was a member of the Middlesex Township Volunteer Fire Company and the Auxiliary Police there, the Rambling Squares, and the Mars Baseball Association.
A sergeant in the Army during World War II, he served in Company B 1256th Engineer Combat Battalion, and was a member of the Mars American Legion.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Warren (Mary Ann) Hughes and Wanda Wokulich, both of Masontown, Pa.; one son, John Wokulich of Valencia, Pa.; one brother, Peter Wokulich of Cleveland, Ohio; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Catherine "Mamie" Fey Wokulich, whom he married on Dec. 26, 1942, and who died on May 17, 1996. Also by a sister, Ann Viancourt; two brothers, John and Alec Wokulich; and one granddaughter.
Friends will be received at the McDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME INC., 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial in St. Kilian Roman Catholic Church, Mars, will be on Friday at 1 p.m.

Anna D. Zivnoska
Anna D. Zivnoska, 70, of Denbo-Vesta 6, Pa. died Tuesday, October 24, 2000.
She was born on Sept. 17, 1930 in Vesta 6, Pa., daughter of the late Michael and Mary Fidek Zivnoska.
She retired from Celina Insurance Agency in Washington, Pa.
She is survived by two brothers, Louis R. and his wife Caroline Zivnoska of South Connellsville, Joseph and his wife Norma Zivnoska of Euclid, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Zivnoska.
Funeral service will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Lafayette Memorial Park Chapel with the Rev. Fr. Edward Litavec officiating.
