Harold E. Williams
Harold E. Williams, 89, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2001, in Beverly Healthcare Center.
He was a graduate of Uniontown High School, Class of 1931, and was the retired owner of the Mayflower Transit Company, in Uniontown.
He is survived by his wife, Inez Bailey Williams.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Andrew D. Ferguson Funeral Home Inc., 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, Pa., where friends will be received on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m., the hour of service.

Minnie J. Yohman
Minnie Jean (Tiberi) Yohman, who was 75 years old, passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2001, in the Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa., with all her family at her side.
She was born Dec. 2, 1925, in Footedale, Pa., daughter of the late Antonio and Marianna (Franchette) Tiberi.
Minnie was a member of St. Thomas Roman Catholic Church of Footedale, and a former member of the Christian Mothers. She also belonged to New Salem American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, the Center in the Woods Senior Center at California, Pa., and Menallen Grange No. 1091.
She worked for Menallen School for 17 years, and was a member of the Food Association. She very much enjoyed swimming, cooking, traveling and led a full active life. She will be sadly missed and loved by her family.
Preceding her in death were a sister, Donna Bahm; two brothers, Louis and Paul Tiberi; and a grandson, Cory Edward Bodkin.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, William Yohman; a daughter, Christine Bodkin and her husband, Dave of Cumming, Ga.; a son, Darby Yohman and his wife, Chris of Uppermiddletown; two grandsons, Bradley Yohman and Jason Bodkin and his wife, Dana of Cranberry, Pa.; a great-granddaughter, Emma Iva Bodkin; a brother, Joseph Tiberi of Fairbank; and a sister, Leona Malaspina of Newboro; and several nieces, nephews and many friends who loved her and will miss her.
Friends will be received in the DEARTH FUNERALHOME, New Salem today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be held in St. Thomas Roman Catholic Church, at 11 a.m., on Friday, with the Rev. Fr. James L. Popochock as celebrant. Interment will follow in the church Cemetery. A Parish Wake Service will be held today at 3:30 p.m., Menallen Grange will conduct services at 7:30 this evening.

Bertha Andria
Bertha Miller Andria, 82, of Fairchance, Pa., died Wednesday, June 6, 2001, in Beverly Health Care.
She was born Oct. 28, 1918, in Fairchance, Pa., daughter of the late David Townsend and Lorraine Davis Townsend.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Fred C. Miller and Amadee "Chink" Andria; and five sisters.
Bertha was a former member of the 40/8 Voiture 18.
Surviving are her son, Marvin F. Miller and wife, Marlene of Fairchance; a stepdaughter, Josephine Durham and her husband, Harvey of Little Rock, Ark.; a stepson, Amadee "Chinkie" Andria Jr., and wife, Cecil of St. Cloud, Minn.; grandchildren, Keith and Kathleen Miller, Julie and Tom Genevro, Shana and Mike Peerson, Phillip and Tracy Durham, Aaron Andria and Joe Andria; and great-grandchildren, Kelly Miller and Abby Miller.
The family will receive friends in the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church, Fairchance, Pa., today from 4 to 9 p.m., and on Friday, June 8, 2001, until 11 a.m., the hour of service, with the Rev. Donald Immel officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park.

Martha E. Jean Carroll
Martha E. Jean Carroll, 83, of 3781 Demura Dr. SE Warren, Ohio, formerly of Cleveland, Ohio, died Tuesday, June 5, 2001, at 9 a.m., at her residence of heart failure.
She was born Aug. 20, 1916, in Ronco, Pa., daughter of the late Samuel E. and Clara Shaffer Lilley.
Martha was a member of Liberty Bible Church in Vienna, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew J. Carroll, who died on June 3, 1989; and one son, Gary G. Carroll.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas A. Carroll of Brick, N.J., and Richard E. Carroll of Cleveland, Ohio; two daughters, Mrs. Linda Huseman Martin of Warren, Ohio, with whom she made her home, and Mrs. Susan Nevlud of Masontown, Pa.; 15 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received in the STATON GILLEN LARKINS FUNERAL HOME, 962 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio, today from 7 to 9 p.m., and on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Additional visitation will be held in the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC., AT SYLVAN HEIGHTS Cemetery, Gallatin Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., on Saturday at 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., the hour of service. Interment will be in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa. Memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Hospice of the Valley.

Cora J. Ciarlo
Cora Jane Ciarlo of Uniontown, Pa., died Tuesday, June 5, 2001, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
She was predeceased by her parents, Lorenzo and Theresa Deleon Ciarlo; two brothers, Lawrence W., and an infant brother, Cesare Ciarlo.
She was a graduate of Uniontown High School, and was employed by the Closed Banks division of Uniontown.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Walter R. (Yolande) Baugh, Mrs. John (Carolyn) McMullen and Mrs. Kenneth (Marie) Dawson; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be private. Donations, in her name, can be made to St. Therese Roman Catholic Church, 61 Mill St., Uniontown.

Anna L. Donovan
In God’s Providence, Anna Louise O’Brien Donovan entered eternal life on Saturday, June 2, 2001.
In addition to her parents, John O’Brien and Emma Shoaf O’Brien, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael B. Donovan; and brothers, John Shoaf O’Brien and Phillip Paul O’Brien.
She is survived by her son, Michael A. Donovan of Uniontown, Pa.; sisters, Mary Catherine O’Brien and Irene O’Brien both of Masontown, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
Anna Louise was a member of St. John The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, and a member of The Rosary Society of St. John The Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church.
Anna Louise was a graduate of All Saints Elementary and High schools. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Seton Hill College and a Masters Degree from Duquesne University. In addition, she completed post-graduate studies at California State College (now California University of Pennsylvania), Carnegie Mellon University, The Pennsylvania State University, and The Catholic University of America.
Anna Louise was applauded as a dedicated teacher in the following schools: Duquesne University, St. Joseph’s Academy, North Huntington Township High School, Masontown Public High School, Hampton Township High School, German Township High School, Albert Gallatin Joint High School, North Union Township High School, and Laurel Highlands High School.
She was also a researcher at Methods Engineering in Pittsburgh, Pa., where she worked in the preparation for "A Dictionary of Engineering Terms".
Anna Louise was also a member of P.S.E.A. and Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN E. KEZMARSKY III FUNERAL HOME AT 71 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE, UNIONTOWN, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m., on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Saturday, June 9, until Noon, when a blessing service will be held.
A Concelebrated Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 1 p.m., in All Saints Church, Masontown, Pa., with the Rev. Fr. James F. Bump as celebrant and the Rev. Fr. Francis Hanley as concelebrant.
Private interment will be held in St. Agnes Cemetery, Leckrone, Pa.
Donations may be made to All Saints Church Memorial Fund, 101 West Church Avenue, Masontown, PA 15461.
Panachida Service will be offered on Friday at 3 p.m., by the Very Reverend Fr. Richard J. Whetstone.
Recitation of the Rosary will be at 3:30 p.m., on Friday by St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church Rosary Society.
Vigil Service on Friday evening.

Shirley Herring
Shirley Wright Herring, 64, of Bruceton Mills, W.Va.., died Monday, June 4, 2001, in the home of her son and daughter-in-law.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, James E. and Lourie Wright II of Bruceton Mills; a daughter and spouse, Darla Keefer and Tony Messersmith of Indian Head, Md.; a stepson and spouse, Lance and Michele Herring of Bruceton Mills; a stepdaughter and spouse, Kathy and Larry Shillingburg of Bruceton Mills; three grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; her father and mother-in-law, Glen and Rozena Herring of Bruceton Mills; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Opal and Glen Beeghly of Bruceton Mills; and friends, Leonard and Agnes Porter of Seville, Ohio.
Friends may call at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home, Brandonville, W.Va., today from 7 to 9 p.m., on Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Saturday, June 9, 2001, from 10 to 11 a.m., the hour of service, in the Shady Grove Church of the Brethren, Bruceton Mills.

Daniel P. Litman
Daniel P. "Cowboy" Litman, 55, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Tuesday morning, June 5, 2001, in Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh.
He was born July 18, 1945, in Continental No. 2, son of Catherine Putanko Litman of Continental No. 2, and the late Michael Litman.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Patrick Litman, Michael Litman Jr., and an infant brother, Donald Litman.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife, Maria Ciarochi Litman; a daughter, Shannon T. Litman of Pittsburgh; two brothers, Carl Litman and wife, Marie of Uniontown, and Victor Litman and wife, Dolly of Connellsville; five sisters, Elaine Conway and husband, Jim of Uniontown, Joyce Prodan and husband, Lex of Carmichaels, Kathy Lavery of Uniontown, Chrissy Seighman and husband, Tim of Leckrone, and Joan Ewing and husband, Dave of Uniontown; and his two loving pets, Lady and Ebony.
He was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, where he served as an usher. He was a graduate of South Union High School, Class of 1963, and was a co-owner of Litman Cable Construction Company.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and held membership in the Continental Rod and Gun Club.
Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, today from 7 to 9 p.m., on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Saturday until 10 a.m., when a Panachida Service will be held, followed by Divine Liturgy at 10:30 a.m., in St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, with the Rev. Fr. Richard Whetstone as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. A Parastas Service will be held on Friday at 4 p.m. The family requests that donations be made to St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, 185 East Main St., Uniontown.

John M. Mackovjak Sr.
John M. "Chug" Mackovjak Sr., 53, of Palmer, Pa., died Wednesday, June 6, 2001, in Brownsville General Hospital.
He was born Aug. 23, 1947, in Uniontown, Pa., a son of the late Joseph Mackovjak Sr., and Josephine (Kroll) Mackovjak.
John was a graduate of German Township High School, Class of 1965, and was formerly employed with Hillman Barge Company.
He was baptized and served as an altar server during his youth at St. Albert’s Roman Catholic Church of Palmer, Pa.
Surviving are his loving wife of 32 years, Patsy Lee (Norman) Mackovjak; three children: John M. Mackovjak Jr., and Melinda "Missy" Furlong, both of Brownsville, Pa., and Patrick J. "P.J." Mackovjak at home; two brothers, Joseph E. Mackovjak of La Belle, Pa., and Barry Mackovjak of Palmer, Pa.; and two nephews and a niece, Joseph Mackovjak of McClellandtown, Pa., and Michael Norman and Gina Norman, both of Merrittstown, Pa.
Friends will be received in the HAKY FUNERAL HOMES INC., 515 North Main St., Masontown, Pa., on Friday from 2 to 9 p.m., and on Saturday, June 9, 2001, when Funeral Services will be held at a time to be announced.
Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Leckrone, Pa.

Wilbert I. Rice
Wilbert Irving Rice, 79, of Rockville, Md., formerly of Point Marion, Pa., died Wednesday, June 06, 2001, in Brownsville General Hospital.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Dessie Willis Rice; two daughters, Karen Seiberlich of Venice, Fla., and Rhonda Rice of Laurel, Md.; one grandson, Erik Seiberlich of Charlotte, N.C.; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received in the Richard R. Herod Funeral Home, Point Marion, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Saturday, June 9, 2001, until 1 p.m., the hour of service.
