Charles E. Bricker, 59, of Fairchance, Pa., died Wednesday, February 23, 2000, in the Uniontown Hospital.
He was born October 29, 1940, in Fairchance, Pa., son of John Bricker and Dorothy Price Bricker.
Charlie was a member of New Beginning Covenant Church, Mount Braddock, Pa., and had served as a Military Policeman in the United States Army.
His parents are deceased.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Vivian Bowlen Bricker; one daughter, Jackie David and her husband, Floyd, of Fairchance, Pa.; one granddaughter, Brittany David; three brothers: James Bricker and his wife, Dolores, Clarence Bricker and his wife, Geraldine, and Roy Bricker; two sisters: Joyce Ann Bricker and Norma Kmetz and her husband, Mark, all of Fairchance, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends in the GOLDSBORO-TOMI FUNERAL HOME, 21 East Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, February 28, until 2 p.m., the hour of service with the Rev. Mark Lawson officiating.
Interment will follow in Mount Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery, Smithfield, Pa.
Visitation was also held Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.
Catherine Cox Brown
Catherine B. Cox Brown, 67, of North Huntingdon, formerly of Herminie, who was born in North Braddock, Pa., to Andrew Cox and Catherine Comer Cox, died Thursday, February 24, 2000, at the home of her son in Uniontown, Pa.
She is survived by two children: Ernest Brown Sr. and wife, Sandra, of Uniontown, Pa., and Barbara and husband, Patrick Garase, of Finleyville, Pa.; grandchildren: Kyle Garase and Paige Garase; brothers: John Cox of North Braddock, Pa., and Joseph Cox of Detroit, Mich.; and sisters: Sarah Frame of North Huntingdon and Mary Bruce of Penn Hills, Pittsburgh, Pa.
Friends will be received at the Joseph F. Ott Funeral Home Inc., Fifth and Oak streets, Irwin, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday until 9:15 a.m.
Dorothy E. Campbell
Dorothy E. Campbell, 58, of Merrittstown, Pa., died Thursday, February 24, 2000.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Campbell; children: Joseph Campbell of Cardale, Pa., Dorothy Berish of Brownsville, Pa., John Campbell of Masontown, Pa., Robert Campbell of Peakskill, New York, Frank Campbell of Brownsville, and Roger Campbell of Republic, Pa.; 12 grandchildren; sisters: Mary Bagley of Ohio, Gloria Campbell of Merrittstown and Frances Dills of California, Pa.; and a brother, Earl Redmond of Fayette City.
Friends will be received in the Robert T. Kish Funeral Home Inc., Legion St., Republic, Pa., on Tuesday, Feb. 29, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.
Nora Robinson Cooley
Nora May Robinson Cooley, 92, of Fort Worth, Texas, formerly of Haydentown, Pa., died Tuesday, February 22, 2000, in Harris South West Hospital, Fort Worth, Texas.
She was born June 20, 1907, in White House, Pa., daughter of Benjamin Robinson and Ida Hickle Robinson.
Mrs. Cooley was a member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church, Smithfield, Pa.
Her husband, Clarence J. Cooley, died in 1994. Also deceased are three brothers, Thomas, Willis and Chauncey Robinson, her parents, and her stepmother, Kathryn Robinson.
Surviving are a son, Fred Cooley and his wife, Jane, two grandsons, Todd J. Cooley and his wife, Pamela, and Dr. Kent Robinson Cooley and his wife, Susan, and three great-grandchildren, T. J. Cooley, Brent Lindell, and Ryan Lindell, all of Fort Worth, Texas; two half sisters: Mrs. George (Betty) Jenkins of Fairchance, Pa., and Mrs. Earl (Eleanor) Jenkins of Uniontown, Pa.; two half brothers: Robert Robinson and his wife, Louise, and Edgar Robinson and his wife, Joyce, all of Morgantown, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews.

Eugene L. Friel
Eugene L. Friel, 80, of 1012 Springfield Pike, Connellsville, Pa., passed away Saturday, February 26, 2000, in Uniontown Hospital.
He was born June 19, 1919, in Connellsville, Pa., son of Edward C. Friel and Emma L. Dobrick Friel.
He was a retired insurance salesman and a talented drummer musician.
He was a member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Connellsville, V.F.W. Post 21, American Legion Post 301, and A.M.U. Local 1 in Passaic, New Jersey.
He was a former member of A.F.M. Local 417.
He was a veteran of World War II who served in the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret A. Friel; three sons: Thomas R. Friel, Robert E. Friel and his wife, Denise, and John J. Friel and his wife, Debbie, all of Connellsville; one daughter, Leah J. Friel of Markleysburg, Pa.; and five grandchildren: Terry, Christopher, and Crystal all of Connellsville, Anna and Emma both of Dunbar, Pa.
Friends are being received in the RICHARD KUCERA FUNERAL HOME, 127 East Fairview Ave., Connellsville, Pa., on Monday and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where a Blessing Service will be held Wednesday, March 1, at 9 a.m.
A Funeral Mass follows at 9:30 a.m. in Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, Connellsville.
Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Connellsville, where Full Military Honors will be accorded by American Legion Post 301 and V.F.W. Post 21.
James A. Hayden Sr.
James A. Hayden Sr., 72, of Farmington, Pa., passed away Friday, February 25, 2000, in Uniontown Hospital.
He was born June 30, 1927, in Pittsburgh, Pa., son of Floyd B. Hayden Sr. and Anna Brown Hayden.
Mr. Hayden was a member of Farmington Bethel Church of The Brethren.
He was a veteran of both World War II and the Korean Conflict who served with the United States Navy.
Predeceased by his wife, Clara L. Myers Hayden, a sister, Dorothy Tvardy, and his parents.
Surviving are four sons: James Hayden and wife, Gina, David L. Hayden, Richard Hayden and wife, Katherine, and Harold Hayden and wife, Vicki, all of Farmington; nine grandchildren: Richie Hayden who lived with him, James Hayden III, Michael R. Hayden, Daniel and Heather, Scott A. Hayden, Johnny L. Hayden, Bradley L. Hayden and Christopher Hayden; two great-grandsons: Michael R. Hayden Jr. and Joshua T. Hayden; two brothers both of Markleysburg: Floyd B. Hayden Jr. and wife, Charlotte, and Jack Hayden; and sisters: Nancy Dugger and husband, Melvin, of Dresden, Tennessee, and Patricia Bing and husband, Richard, of Burke, Virginia.
Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME OF FARMINGTON, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Visitation continues Tuesday, February 29, in Farmington Bethel Church of The Brethren from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Services will begin at 11 a.m. with the Rev. A. Harrison Smith officiating.
Interment follows in the church Cemetery.

Edith P. McDonald Hertzog, 73, of Pursglove, W.Va., formerly of Mountain Heights, W.Va., where she was born to Charles Wesley McDonald and Nannie Catherine McFadden McDonald, died Saturday, February 26, 2000, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
She is survived by seven children and their spouses: Larry and Ruby Hertzog of Summers School Road, Morgantown, W.Va., Vera Hertzog of Pursglove, W.Va., Freda and Bill Hines of Mount Morris, W.Va., Joyce and Bud Hammack of Tyrone Road, Morgantown, Kathy King of Pursglove, Terry and Barbara Hertzog of Richmond, Ky., Helen and Mike Tichenor of Rock Forge, W.Va.; sisters: Ruth Greathouse of Fairchance, Pa., Esther C. McDonald of Beulah Road, Morgantown, W.Va., and Ethel Mae Wilson of Uniontown, Pa.; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at Nicholson Chapel Church, Summers School Road, Morgantown, W.Va., today from 3 to 9 p.m., Monday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Tuesday, Feb. 29, until 1 p.m.

Joseph Anthony Kazimer
Joseph Anthony Kazimer ``Bicycle Joe,'' 76, of Uniontown, Pa., died Thursday, February 24, 2000, in Uniontown Hospital.
He was born March 1, 1923, in Uniontown, Pa., son of Stephen Kazimer and Anna Smolka Kazimer.
He was employed with United States Steel Corporation for over 12 years.
His wife, Betty Patricia Gibbony Kazimer, brothers, Rudolph J. Kazimer and Stephen Kazimer, sister, Mary Sesock, and his parents are deceased.
He is survived by three sisters and one brother: Josephine Woytus of San Jose, California, Ann Payesko of Newark, New Jersey, George Kazimer of Uniontown, Pa., and Ann Turchan of California state.
Friends will be received in the HAKY FUNERAL HOMES INC., 139 West Fayette Street, Uniontown, Pa., today, February 27, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. A Prayer Service will be held at 9 p.m. with Rev. Fr. Patrick O'Connor officiating.
Interment will be private.
