Marie E. Wilson Kelley Holbrook, 86, of 309 W. 4th St., Erie, died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 1998, at Millcreek Community Hospital.
She was born Aug. 8, 1911, in Neilltown, Forest County, daughter of the late Samuel and Inez Kelley Wilson.
Mrs. Holbrook was a homemaker. She previously lived in Conneaut, Ohio, moving to Erie to live with her daughter 16 years ago.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Arthur J. Kelley, on March 23, 1963; they were marriage Oct. 31, 1931; and her second husband, Frank B. Holbrook, on March 2, 1978; they were marriage May 24, 1965.
Also preceding her in death were two sons, Harry Wilson and Clarence Kelley; and a daughter, Fannie Daley.
She is survived by five daughters, Esther Proctor and Sophia Kasecky, both of Erie, Nora Swabik and Alberta Trojak, both of Titusville, Crawford County, and Elsie Boardman of Lincolnville, Crawford County, and her husband, Henry; three sisters, Bessie and Lillie Beach, both of Titusville, and May Tucker of Townville, Crawford County; 39 grandchildren, 69 great-grandchildren and 46 great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Van Matre Funeral Home, 105 Walnut St., Waterford, on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from noon until the time of the service there at 2 p.m.
Burial will be at Waterford Cemetery.

Lauren Elizabeth Graham
FRANKLIN Lauren Elizabeth Graham, infant daughter of Mark A. Graham and Jill M. Hummel, died at birth Monday, Jan. 19, 1998, at Northwest Medical Center in Franklin, Venango County.
Lauren was preceded in death by a great-grandfather, Clarence Barnicle; a great-grandmother, Mary Hummel; and a great-great-grandmother, Mabel Sibley.
In addition to her parents, survivors include a brother, Trevor Graham, at home; her grandparents, Ronald and Brenda Graham and John Hummel and Barbara Umstead, all of Franklin; great-grandparents, Clifford and Helen Graham and Mr. and Mrs. Dearald Shuffstall, all of Franklin, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Snyder of Utica, Venango County, and Lavina Wilson of Grove City, Mercer County; a great-grandfather, Charles Hummel of Utica; great-great-grandmother, Hazel Barnicle of Cooperstown, Venango County; great-great-grandfather, Ward Sibley of Franklin; and several aunts and uncles.
No calling hours will be observed. A private service will be held at Robert R. Gardinier Funeral Home, 1315 Chestnut St., Franklin. The Rev. Jeffrey Harmeling of Rocky Grove Avenue Presbyterian Church will officiate.
Burial will be at Graham Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Barrow-Civic Theater.

Henry L. Hilliard
Henry L. "Chick" Hilliard, 79, of 355 W. 25th St., died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 1998, at Saint Vincent Health Center.
He was born Nov. 2, 1918, in Confluence, Somerset County, son of the late Edward and Lisia Hilliard.
Mr. Hilliard, who had lived in Erie for many years, worked for Erie Forge & Steel Co. for 25 years, retiring in 1979. He also worked for Saint Vincent Health Center as a parking lot attendant for six years.
He served in the Merchant Marine during World War II. He was a member of Kearsarge Church of God. He enjoyed woodworking.
He was preceded in death by a son, William H. Hilliard, in 1995, and four brothers and a sister.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Norma J. Shaffer Hilliard; a son, Richard Hilliard of Erie; a grandson, Richard Hilliard; a granddaughter, Victoria Hilliard; and several nephews.
Friends may attend a service at Westview Cemetery in Avonmore, Westmoreland County, Friday at 3 p.m. The Rev. Glenn Propst of Saltsburg Church of God will officiate.

Edward Patrick Fatica
Edward Patrick Fatica, 87, of Hudson, Fla., formerly of Erie, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 1998, at James A. Haley Veterans Hospital in Tampa, Fla.
Mr. Fatica, who was a retired golf professional, moved from Erie to Hudson 15 years ago. He was a Roman Catholic.
He served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II. He belonged to Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3997 in Hudson.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Fatica; a daughter, Pamela Baker of Fort Myers, Fla.; a son, Edward Nelson Fatica of Venice, Fla.; two brothers, John and Lawrence Fatica, both of Erie; a sister, Josephine Lombardo of Erie; and three grandchildren.
Bell Funeral Home in Hudson is in charge of funeral arrangements.

Eddie B. Evans Jr.
Eddie B. Evans Jr., 42, of 1110 W. 20th St., died at his home Monday, Jan. 19, 1998.
He was born May 5, 1955, in Laurel, Miss., son of Eddie B. Evans and Mary Henderson of Erie.
Mr. Evans, who attended McKinley Elementary School and Academy High School, graduated from Penn State University Behrend College with a bachelor of arts degree in sociology.
He had worked for Case Management Support Services as a supervisor for several years. He was an advocate for the homeless and a former president of the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity.
Mr. Evans, who graduated from Inter-Denominational Theological Seminary in Atlanta, Ga., was an assistant pastor of Holy Trinity Church of God in Christ.
He was a Big Brother and a member of Omega Psi Phi fraternity. He enjoyed basketball, tennis and camping.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Arthur Henderson, and a sister, Gloria Henderson.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Saunders Evans; three sons, Loren E., Ja-Ned B. and Marcus R. Evans, all at home; three brothers, Willie L. Henderson and his wife, Sharon, Ernest L. Evans and his wife, Lydia, all of Erie, and Joseph Evans of Lexington, Ky., and his wife, Monica; a sister, Debra A. Evans of Erie; two stepsisters, Marilyn and Pam Persons, both of Erie; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends may call at Holy Trinity Church of God in Christ, 1703 Holland St., on Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service will be held there Saturday at 11 a.m. Elder Willie A. Harris will officiate.
Burial will be at Erie Cemetery.

Charles S. Baume
Charles S. Baume, 80, of 903 East Grandview Blvd. Apt. 101, formerly of 146 E. 31st St., died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 1998, at Abington Crest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born April 5, 1917, in London, England, son of the late Max and Rose Lerner Baume.
Mr. Baume worked for American General Life Insurance Co. as an insurance agent for 25 years before his retirement. In the early 1950s he owned a kosher delicatessen at E. 31st and Holland streets.
Mr. Baume was a member of Congregation Brith Sholom, where he was involved in the men's organization and helped with bingo.
He was a life member of East Erie Turners.
He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Louis Lerner, who raised Mr. Baume after the death of his father.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Mayme Mandel Baume, whom he marriage July 21, 1940; two sons, Elliott Baume of Springfield, Ohio, and his wife, Brenda, and Ernest Roy Baume of Tucson, Ariz., and his wife, Barbara; four grandchildren, Derek, Brittany, Randy and Barry Baume; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may attend a service at Burton Funeral Home, 4740 Peach St., Friday at 11 a.m., conducted by Rabbi Leonard H. Lifshen.
Burial will be at Congregation Brith Sholom Cemetery.

Bernard L. Allgeier
Bernard L. Allgeier, 79, of 2449 Norcross Road, died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 1998, at the Pennsylvania Soldiers and Sailors Home.
He was born Sept. 27, 1918, in Erie, son of the late Benjamin and Eleanor Hess Allgeier.
Mr. Allgeier, who was a graduate of Tech High School, worked as a car salesman for 30 years for Dahl Motors, Fairview Chrysler-Plymouth and Humes Auto.
He served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II as a supply technician and served four years in the U.S. Army Reserve.
He was a former member of the Zukor, South Erie Turners and Siebenbuerger clubs.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Allgeier.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Charlotte Kupper Allgeier; a daughter, Atty. Catherine Allgeier and her husband, Robert Murray, of Lake City; a son, Kenneth Allgeier of Erie; a granddaughter, Danielle Egan-Allgeier; four sisters, Mrs. Marie Winschel of Erie, Mrs. Eleanor Zimmer of Alaska, Mrs. Donald (Margaret) Waldemarson of Enumclaw, Wash., and Mrs. Rosemary Trott of Erie; two brothers, Wilbur and Norman Allgeier, both of Erie; and many nieces and nephews.

Armando Martone
Armando "Herman" Martone, 72, of 410 Joshua Drive, formerly of 1136 W. 32nd St., died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 1998, at Abington Crest Nursing Home.
He was born Sept. 30, 1925, in Oil City, Venango County, son of the late Phillip and Jennie Madonna Martone.
Mr. Martone, who had lived in Erie since 1930, worked for the Erie city streets bureau for 28 years, retiring 16 years ago.
Mr. Martone was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He fought in the Battle of the Bulge and was a prisoner of war in Germany. He was a member of the Ex-POW Association.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Dorothy Goranflo Martone; a daughter, Mrs. Walter (Shelley) Semczuk of Harborcreek Township; three sons, Phillip, Michael and Arthur Martone, all of Erie; two brothers, Lindo and Rudy Martone, both of Erie; four sisters, Valentine Gallant of Cambridge Springs, Alda Bruno and Lucy Cannavino, both of Erie, and Blanette DiVecchio of Orlando, Fla.; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
