Stanley Gould, 81, of Bobtown, Pa., died Saturday, April 8, 2000, at Greene County Memorial Hospital, Waynesburg, Pa.
He was born November 30, 1918, in Shoaf, Pa., son of Lester Gould and Katherine Nowaczyk Gould.
Predeceased by four brothers, Harry, Bernard, Joseph and Edward Gould, and his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Theresa Grace Sereg Gould whom he marriage January 19, 1946; a son, Kenneth Paul Gould, and grandson, Stanley Paul Gould, both of Charlotte, North Carolina; one great-grandchild; two sisters: Sophia Bransky and Blanche Alverado both of Port Orange, Florida; two special nephews: Joseph Sereg of Bobtown and Charles Richard Burack of Waynesburg, Pa.; and a number of other nephews and nieces.
Friends will be received in the RICHARD R. HEROD FUNERAL HOME, Point Marion, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, April 12, at 10 a.m. in St. Ignatius R.C. Church, Bobtown, with Rev. Fr. Alvin Gutierrez as Celebrant.
Interment follows in Monongahela Hill Cemetery, Greensboro, Pa., where Military Honors will be accorded.
Parish Rosary will be recited in the Funeral Home on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
Michael Louis Grake
Michael Louis Grake, 28, of Republic, Pa., passed away Saturday evening, April 8, 2000, in his home.
He was born March 10, 1972, in Uniontown, Pa., son of Louis Grake of Republic, Pa., and Elaine Baluch Groves of Uniontown.
Michael was a graduate of Brownsville Area High School.
Surviving in addition to his parents are a sister, Anna Mary Mann and her husband, Jack Mann, of Richmond, Virginia; a brother, Robert Grake of Uniontown, Pa.; nieces: Lacey Mann and Sophie Mann both of Virginia; and his stepfather, James E. Groves of Uniontown.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN E. KEZMARSKY III FUNERAL HOME AT 71 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE, UNIONTOWN, Pa., on Tuesday, April 11, from 12 Noon until 1 p.m. Services will be held at 1 p.m. with Pastor Gary Herring officiating.
Interment will follow.
Laura DeBerry Jordan
Laura DeBerry Jordan, 92, of Uniontown, Pa., died Saturday, April 8, 2000, in Uniontown.
She was born August 8, 1907, in Cuzzard, West Virginia, daughter of Elzie DeBerry.
She had worked at Keystone Fireworks Factory and had attended Cove Run Free Methodist Church.
Her husband, Robert Jordan, a son, Leland Jordan, three brothers, Calvin, William and Carlus DeBerry, a sister, Lily Peck, and her parents are deceased.
She is survived by four sons: Robert Jordan, Jack Jordan, William Jordan and Edward Jordan all of Mount Independence, Pa.; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Friends and Family will gather in the DOLFI FUNERAL HOME, Uniontown, Pa., today, April 10, at 11 a.m. for a Memorial Service with Pastor Roger Yeager officiating.
Julia A. Vizdosh
Julia A. Vizdosh, 95, of Waynesburg, Pa., and formerly of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Saturday, April 8, 2000, in Beverly HealthCare, Waynesburg.
She was born December 13, 1904, in Dunbar, Pa., daughter of Joseph Vizdosh and Julia Takac Vizdosh.
She was a member of St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church in Uniontown and was retired from the Bureau of Employment Security where she worked as a secretary in the Field Accounting Department.
Four sisters, Helen Kollar, Mary Malvizzi, Anna Moorhouse, Agnes Wilson, and her parents are deceased.
Surviving are her nieces: Anna Beall Kocan of Scottdale, Pa., Joann W. Owens of Waynesburg, Pa., Norma Jean Malvizzi of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Virginia Seifert of Pittsburgh, Pa.; a nephew, James J. Moorhouse of Pittsburgh; several great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN E. KEZMARSKY III FUNERAL HOME AT 71 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE, UNIONTOWN, Pa., on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, April 12, until 10:30 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held.
A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 11 a.m. in St. Mary (Nativity) Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown.
Interment will follow in St. Mary (Nativity) Church Cemetery, Uniontown.

John Robert Benucci, 26, of Thompson One, Pa., passed away Sunday, April 16, 2000, in Brownsville General Hospital. He was born September 26, 1973, in Uniontown, Pa., son of Robert L. Benucci and Irene Stoken Benucci. He was predeceased by an infant brother, Bernard John Benucci. In addition to his parents he is survived by two sisters: Jacquelyn Benucci of Searights, Pa., and Kathleen Benucci at home; his maternal grandfather, Joseph A. Stoken of Adah, Pa.; a special niece and nephew: Chelsea Benucci and Brandyn Bane both of Searights; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Claire M. Brilhart, 89, of Scottdale died Sunday, in Scottdale Manor Rehabilitation Center, Scottdale. She is survived by three sons, Richard, Jim and John Brilhart all of Scottdale; one daughter, Maureen Strevels of Scottdale; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Al (Ruth) Genelli of Uniontown and Mrs. Charles (Myrtle) Henderson of Euclid, Ohio. Helen K. (Kelly) DeFigio, 88, of Penncraft, Pa., passed away Sunday, April 16, 2000, in Mount Macrina Manor, Uniontown, Pa. She was born June 1, 1911, in New Kensington, Pa., daughter of George Kelly and Pauline Okun Kelly. She was a member of St. Ellien's Orthodox Church in Brownsville, a graduate of California University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Education Degree, and a retired teacher from the former Redstone School District with 37 years of service. Her husband, Alfred A. DeFigio, died in 1963. Also deceased are a son, Alfred DeFigio III, and her parents. Surviving are a son, Michael DeFigio of Penncraft; grandchildren: Michael DeFigio and Marcy DeFigio; sisters: Elizabeth Sahady of Republic, Pa., and Pearl Dennis of Culpepper, Virginia; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the ROBERT T. Raymond G. Hribal, 72, of Mount Pleasant, died Saturday in Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant. He is survived by two brothers, Gilbert Hribal of Latrobe and Roland Hribal of Mount Pleasant and four sisters, Charlotte Hribal, Mrs. John (Nancy) Srogoncik, Bibiani Hribal and Mrs. Donald (Laverne) Kuhn, all of Mount Pleasant. Arrangements were under the direction of Luther J. Grimm Funeral Home, Mount Pleasant.
Wilbur G. Lowdermilk Sr.
Wilbur G. Lowdermilk Sr., 80, of 962 Frazee Ridge Road, Friendsville, Maryland, died Monday, April 17, 2000, at Monongalia General Hospital, Morgantown, West Virginia. Born December 11, 1919, in Selbysport, Maryland, he was a son of Jefferson Lowdermilk and Hannah Meyers Lowdermilk. Mr. Lowdermilk was a member of Asher Glade Church of The Brethren. He was owner and operator of Lowdermilk Trucking Company. He was a past president of Farmers Wildlife Association of Asher Glade and was a past member of the Board of Directors of Liberty Trust Company (now Keystone Financial). He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II. His wife, Beulah Umbel Lowdermilk, died March 27, 1984. His parents are also deceased. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Survivors include one son, Wilbur G. Lowdermilk Jr., Friendsville, Maryland; two daughters: Shirley A. Rusnack, Connellsville, Pa., and Vonda J. Bryner, Friendsville, Maryland; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the NEWMAN FUNERAL HOMES, P.A., 943 Second Avenue, Friendsville, Maryland, today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted Thursday, April 20, at 11 a.m. in Asher Glade Church of The Brethren with the Rev. Samuel Moon officiating. Interment will be in Sand Spring Cemetery where Military Honors will be accorded by the area's veterans' service organizations. Friends may call at the Church one hour prior to the services. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to the American Heart Association.
