Herbert Francis 'Herbie' Mollard, 63, of Perryopolis R.D., who was born in Fairhope, Washington Township, Pa., died Saturday, July 1, 2000, in Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara A. Mollard; children: Frederick R. Mollard of Fayette City R.D., Maryann and husband, Juan Ruiz, of Linden, N.J.; grandchildren: Joseph Ruiz, Roxanne Ruiz, Justin Ruiz; sisters: Norman and husband, Frank Hussar, and Shirley and husband, George Fugo, all of Fairhope, Belle Vernon, Pa.; brothers: Richard G. Mollard and wife, Jean, of Green Valley, Ariz., Walter Earl Mollard of Monessen, Pa., and Fred Mollard and wife, Mary Ann, of Monessen.
Friends will be received in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home Inc., 334 Main St., Fayette City, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Wednesday, July 5, until 9:30 a.m.
Catherine Boeckx Samaritana
Catherine Boeckx Samaritana, 89, of California, Pa., died Friday, June 30, 2000.
She was born February 5, 1911, in California, Pa., daughter of J. C. Boeckx and Mary Collet Boeckx.
She was a member of United Christian Church where she served as Secretary of the Women's Missionary Society.
Her husband, Richard Samaritana, died September 7, 1991. Also deceased are a sister, Rose Fiedler, a brother, Joseph Boeckx, and her parents.
Surviving are her sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Bill Wright, of California, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends were received Sunday from Noon to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and will be received in the MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME INC., 323 Fourth Street, California, Pa., today, Monday, July 3, until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with the Rev. J. W. Hormell officiating.
Interment follows in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
Ralph M. Thomas
Ralph M. Thomas, 73, of Brownsville, Pa., formerly of Smithtown, Long Island, New York, who was born in Quincy, Mass., died Sunday, July 2, 2000, in Uniontown, Pa.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Lea Clifford Thomas; children; Anne Thomas Crites and husband, Rusty Crites, of Buckhannon, W.Va., and David Thomas of Linden, N.J.; granddaughters: Tammy Crites, Lisa Crites and Jackie Crites all at home; sister, Virginia Thomas Cohn and husband, Herb Cohn, of Huntington, Long Island, N.Y.; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends in the Confer Funeral Home, 515 Front St., Brownsville, Pa., on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, July 6, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.

Frank Yuhas, 74, of New Salem, Pa., passed away Sunday, July 2, 2000, in Brownsville General Hospital.

Lucy L. Zanardini
Lucy Lazzari Zanardini, 90, of California, Pa., who was born in Brescia, Italy, died Sunday, July 2, 2000.
She is survived by her son and his wife, Carl and Gloria Zanardini of California, Pa., with whom she made her home; grandsons: Carl Zanardini and David Zanardini both of Stockdale, Pa.; granddaughter, Michelle Zanardini Magruda of Elco, Pa.; and one great-grandson.
Friends will be received at the Mariscotti Funeral Home Inc., 323 Fourth St., California, Pa., on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday hours will be announced.
Leo Earl Baughman
Leo Earl Baughman, 95, of Morrell, died Friday, August 18, 2000, at his residence.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Nick (Beverly) Yancheck of Dickerson Run and Mrs. Sam (Doloris) McWilliams of Dunbar; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and two brothers, Francis (Frank) Baughman and Howard Baughman both of Amarillo, Texas.
Arrangements were under the direction of Vito C. Martucci Funeral Home, 123 S. First St., West Side, Connellsville.
Carl Frederick Betchy Jr.
Carl Frederick Betchy Jr., 50, of Masontown, Pa., died Saturday, August 19, 2000, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, West Virginia.
He was born February 12, 1950, in Smithfield, Pa., son of Carl Frederick Betchy Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Rhodes Betchy.
Mr. Betchy was a retired Mine Foreman and a graduate of Albert Gallatin High School Class of 1968.
He was a member of the Italo-American Citizens Club and Masontown Fish and Game Club, and a social member of Faith-Gray-McArdle V.F.W. Post 4584.
His wife, Joanne Swetz Betchy, and his parents preceded him in death.
He is survived by two sons: Carl F. Betchy III and his wife, Cindy, and Jerod A. Betchy all of Masontown; three grandchildren: Joshua V. Betchy, Morganne E. Betchy, and Joanne Betchy; four sisters: Sharon Rattay and her husband, Steve, Charlotte Manzano and her husband, Luis, Linda Corsetti and her husband, John, and Debbie Poole and her husband, William, all of Masontown, Pa; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the HAKY FUNERAL HOMES INC., 515 North Main Street, Masontown, Pa., today, Tuesday, August 22, until 10 a.m., the hour of Service with Rev. Fr. James F. Bump officiating.
Interment will follow in Old Frame Cemetery.
Visitation was also held Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
George Clark
George Clark, 88, of Hopwood, Pa., died Sunday, August 20, 2000, in Laurel Ridge Center, Uniontown, Pa.
He was born March 25, 1912, in Cardenden, Fife, Scotland, the son of Thomas Clark and Mary Simpson Clark.
He served in the United States Army during World War II as a Petroleum Engineer in the European Theatre of Operation.
George was the Golf Course Superintendent at the Uniontown Country Club for many years until his retirement.
He was a member of Third Presbyterian Church, the John Knox Bible Class, Verona Lodge F.&A.M., Pittsburgh Consistory, and General George C. Marshall AMVETS Post 103, Hopwood, Pa.
George was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Marie Flack Clark, in 1993, a brother, John Clark, two sisters, Isabelle Gutherie and Janet Yarley, and his parents.
He is survived by a daughter, Joanne Radman of Naples, Florida; two grandsons: Scott Radman of Morgantown, West Virginia, and Joel Radman of Bethesda, Maryland; and a sister, Mary Clark Gutch of Verona, Pa.
Private graveside services will be held today, August 22, in Verona Cemetery, Oakmont, Pa., with the Rev. James R. Tweardy officiating.
In lieu of flower, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, Fayette County Unit, Route 40 West, Uniontown, PA 15401.
