Robert A. Glasco, 74, of Brownsville, Pa., who was born Brewind, W.Va., died Saturday, August 12, 2000, in Brownsville General Hospital.
He is survived by one son, Ted Glasco of Washington, Pa. Robert was the last remaining member of his immediate family.
There will be no public visitation.
Arrangements are under direction of the Law Funeral Home, 135 Angle St., Brownsville.

Diane M. Gogol, 49, a lifelong resident of Monessen, Pa., died Thursday, August 17, 2000, in Monongahela Valley Hospital Inc., Carroll Township.
She is survived by her mother, Anne Varga Gogol, and a sister, Lori Gogol Cheroki, both of Monessen; nieces: Lisa Cheroki of Monessen, Mrs. Eric (Roxanne) Keffel and Mrs. George (Rona) Apodiakos both of Belle Vernon; greatnieces and greatnephew: Gianna, Cole and McKenna; a sister-in-law, Patricia Gogol; several aunts and uncles.

Vaughn C. Grable
Vaughn C. Grable, 56, of Oregon and California state, and formerly of Deemston Borough, Washington County, Pa., died Friday, August 18, 2000, at 7:50 p.m. in Mercy Hospital, Council Bluff, Iowa.
He is survived by his mother, Mildred Boger Grable of Washington, Pa.; sisters: Jeanette Grable Driskill of Clarksville, Pa., Dorothy Grable Jae of Fredericktown, Pa., Bernadette Grable McDivitt of Fairport Harbor, Ohio, Frances Grable Haley and Henrietta Grable Mason both of Washington, Pa.; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the Greenlee Funeral Home, Fredericktown Hill, 42 Bank St., Fredericktown, Pa., on Wednesday from 1 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, August 24, until 11 a.m.
Charles Hajek Jr.
Charles Hajek Jr., 81, of Messmore Road, McClellandtown, Pa., passed away Saturday, August 19, 2000, in Beverly HealthCare, Uniontown, following a lengthy illness.
He was born November 24, 1918, in Pittsburgh, Pa., son of Charles Hajek Sr. and Bessie Hajek.
Mr. Hajek was a World War II Veteran who served with the United States Navy SEABEES.
He was an employee of the former Pennsylvania Coal Company, Leckrone Coal and Coke, and also the Freuhauf Corporation in Uniontown.
He was a member of St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church in Uniontown, Uniontown V.F.W. Post 47, General George C. Marshall AMVETS Post 103 in Hopwood, Pa., Disabled American Veterans, Czechoslovakia Society of America, and United Mine Workers of America Fairchance Local 1319.
A son, Charles Hajek III, a sister, Rose Hajek Hood, and his parents preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Baron Hajek; a son, Gene Hajek and his wife, Maxine, a daughter, Kathy and her husband, Dave Winkler, a sister, Bessie Hajek Orlick, and four grandchildren, Jeremy Winkler, Noelle Winkler, Jessica Hajek and Lee Hajek, all of McClellandtown, Pa.
Friends will be received in the H. DAVID McELROY FUNERAL HOME, corner of Main and Blaine streets, McClellandtown, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Wednesday, August 23, until 9 a.m. when a Prayer Service will be held.
A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 9:30 a.m. in St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church, Mill Street, Uniontown, with Rev. Fr. Patrick O’Connor as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Uniontown.
Vivian Pauline Rosenberger Hare
Vivian Pauline Rosenberger Hare, 78, of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2000, in Harborside Health Care, Broadview Heights, Ohio.
She was born September 19, 1921, in Little Brownfield, Pa., daughter of Calvin Rosenberger and Mary Ditmore Rosenberger.
She was a graduate of the former South Union Township High School.
She is survived by a son, William R. Hare and his wife, Brenda, of Uniontown, Pa.; five grandsons: Earl, Raymond, Charles, Scott and John; a great-grandson, Sebastian; and a brother, Ray Rosenberger and his wife, Evelyn, of Uniontown.
Friends will be received in the JAMES D. BARNETT FUNERAL HOME, 196 West Main Street, Uniontown, Pa., today from 6 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, August 22, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Services will be held at 2 p.m. with Rev. Lloyd William Haney officiating.
Interment follows in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown.

Vivian Renee Ingram, 44, of Uniontown, Pa., died Saturday morning, August 19, 2000, in Uniontown Hospital.
She was born August 13, 1956, in Uniontown.
She was a member of Signal of Light Church in Edenborn, Pa.
Surviving are her mother, Joyce Ferdinandus of Palmer, Pa.; a son, Le’Roy Ingram at home; sisters: Rose Theadford and husband, Andrew, and Shanette Raisner all of Easton, Pa., Thelma Turner of Ralph, Pa., Melony Ferdinandus of Adah, Pa., and Lynette Wene of McClellandtown, Pa.; a special cousin, Jerome Ingram, Rocky Mount, North Carolina; and a host of other cousins, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Friends will be received in the MURIEL E. LANTZ FUNERAL HOME, 297 East Main St., Uniontown, Pa., Tuesday from 5 to 9 p.m. where Services will be held Wednesday, August 23, at 11 a.m. with Rev. George Cooper officiating.

Kathryn Petlak Link, 97, of Keisterville, Pa., passed away Sunday, August 20, 2000, in May-Day Personal Care Home, Uniontown.
She was born December 25, 1902, in West Virginia, daughter of Joseph Petlak and Mary Galuska Petlak.
She was a member of Saint Casmir Roman Catholic Church in Keisterville.
Her husband, Frank Link, a son, Thomas Link, four brothers, Adam, Lewis, Casmir and Andrew Petlak, and her parents preceded her in death.
She is survived by a daughter, Helen and her husband, Michael DeSantis, of Brooklyn, New York; a daughter-in-law, Bulah Link of Pittsburgh, Pa.; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Sholtis of Van Meter, Pa.
Friends will be received in the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem, Pa., on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral arrangements will be announced.
George W. Roskos Jr.
George W. Roskos Jr., 79, of Connellsville, Bullskin Township, Pa., passed away peacefully late Saturday, August 19, 2000, in his home surrounded by his family.
He was born November 10, 1920, in Brownsville, Pa., son of George W. Roskos Sr. and Anna Roskos.
George was a longtime resident of Bullskin Township.
Prior to his retirement he worked as a self-employed Stone Mason for several contractors in the area.
He was a veteran of World War II who served in the United States Army and was the recipient of the Bronze Star.
He fought in several battles, including Algeria-French Morocco, Tunisia, Sicily, Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, and the Ardennes.
George was a member of United Commercial Travelers and the Glencoe Sportsman’s Club.
A brother, John Roskos, two sisters, Ann Moser and Mary Ruscheck, and his parents preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Gertrude Helen Butts Roskos; their sons: George W. Roskos III and his wife, Lavonna, Charles A. Roskos and his wife, Sandra, and James A. Roskos all of Connellsville; four grandchildren: Gina Kintigh of Connellsville, Erick Roskos of Morgantown, West Virginia, Heidi Hayden and Melissa Roskos both of Connellsville; five great-grandchildren: Kaiya Kintigh, Katherine Kintigh, Jacob Kintigh, Derek Hayden, Courtney Hayden; and a brother, Andrew Roskos of Warren, Ohio.

Norman Weiner, 74, a resident of Brooklyn, New York, and formerly of Uniontown, Pa., died in New York City Sunday, August 20, 2000.
He was Production Manager for the former Berkowitz Company in Uniontown, Pa.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Cohen Weiner; nieces and nephews.

John A. Capozzi
John A. Capozzi, 80, a lifelong resident of Greensburg, Pa., well-known as the owner of Capozzi Jewelers in South Greensburg for 50 years, died Friday, October 6, 2000.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Carrie "Kay" Petrantoni Capozzi; brothers: Vince and Virginia Capozzi, Richard and Julie Capozzi, and Robert and Marlea Capozzi; sisters: Constance "Katie" Capozzi and Helen Capozzi, Elizabeth Capozzi Nagrocki, and Mary Capozzi Beacon; stepbrother, Frank Pedicone; stepsisters: Mary Ann Sikora, Genevieve Loncharich, Nancy and Alex Capasso, Angeline and Morris Schultz, and Florence and Walter Grey; several nieces and nephews.

Marianne R. Elton Crossley
Marianne R. Elton Crossley, 77, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Friday morning, October 6, 2000, in her home.
She was born December 6, 1922, in Youngstown, Ohio, to Edward Elton and Marian Stephenson Elton.
Marianne was a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, St. Peter’s Women’s Group, the Altar Guild, and the Choir, and was a Sunday School Teacher.
Her husband, Charles V. Crossley, a brother, David Elton, and her parents preceded her in death.
Marianne is survived by three sons: Carl R. Crossley and his wife, Sandra L., of Woodbridge, Virginia, Michael E. Crossley and his wife, Beverly A., of Vienna, West Virginia, and Gregory C. "Hoss" Crossley of Uniontown, Pa.; six grandchildren: Carla R. Carey, Christina R. Kreutter, Marianne R. Crossley, Jennifer H. Crossley, Nancy L. Crossley, and David M. Crossley; a brother, John Elton of Baltimore, Maryland; a sister, Betsy McCoy of Pensacola, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 21, at 1 p.m. in St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 60 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, with Fr. Thomas R. Finnie officiating.
