She is survived by six children: Josephine Frameli Yokobosky of Uniontown, Pa., Dolores Frameli Jankowski of Carmichaels, Pa., Helen Marie Frameli Montefalco of Oxford, Conn., James Frameli of Aurora, Ohio, George Frameli of Belle Vernon, Pa., and Kenneth Frameli of Dry Tavern, Pa.; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Agnes "Tootie" Geer Gillis of West Brownsville, Pa.
Friends will be received in the Behm Funeral Home Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday until 9:30 a.m.
James T. Hare
James T. Hare, 63, of Greensburg, Pa., died Friday, October 20, 2000, at his home.
He is survived by his father, Lawrence G. Hare of Greensburg; his loving companion, Goldie Ruzicka, with whom he resided; children: Jay K. Gault of Greensburg, Leeland J. Hare and wife, Denise, of Morris, Ill., Lance P. Hare and wife, Tina, of Torrance, Calif., Dawn Manges and husband, James Manges, of Connellsville, Pa., Joanne Curry of Greensburg and her fiance, Donnie Williams, and Margie Reeves of Greensburg; a brother, Cris C. Hare of Texas; a sister, Shelley Haynackie of Adamsburg, Pa.; several grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Barnhart Funeral Home, 505 East Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, Pa., today until 11 a.m.
Ellen L. Hoffmann
Ellen L. Hoffmann, 65, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Sunday, October 22, 2000, in Uniontown Hospital.
She was born May 16, 1935, in Washington, Pa., daughter of Olga Leone Curci of Washington, Pa., and the last Anthony Curci.
Ellen served in the United States Navy WAVES during the Korean Conflict and later joined the AMVETS General George C. Marshall Post 103 of Hopwood.
In addition to her mother she is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Richard E. "Dick" Hoffmann Sr.; a son, Richard E. Hoffmann Jr. and his wife, Lisa Marie Hoffmann, of Murrysville, Pa.; two daughters: Michelle Gilmore of Carnegie, Pa., and Lisa E. Petro and her husband, Douglas, of Waynesburg, Pa.; a stepson, Mark Hoffmann of Chicago, Illinois; three grandchildren: Matthew R. Hoffmann, Emily E. Petro and Sarah R. Petro; and a brother, Carmen Curci of Las Vegas, Nevada.
The family will receive friends in the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, Pa., on Tuesday, October 24, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Robert Ewing Jones III
Robert Ewing Jones III, 20, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Thursday, October 19, 2000, from injuries received in an auto accident.
He was born February 5, 1980, in Pittsburgh, Pa., son of Robert E. Jones Jr. and Mary Ellen Helmick Jones.
Robbie was an Equipment Technician at Fresenius Medical Center in Belle Vernon, a 1998 graduate of Geibel High School, and a member of St. John The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Uniontown.
In addition to his parents he is survived by two step-brothers: Jeffrey Scott Jones of Uniontown and Lee Broadwater of Tampa, Florida; a very special friend, Laura Marietta; and a special aunt and uncle, Cholly and Ed Teichert.
A Blessing Service for family and friends will be held today, October 23, in the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC., 80 Morgantown Street, Uniontown, Pa., with Rev. Fr. William Kiel officiating.
Private interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.

Randall S. "Randy" Lake, 37, of Fairchance, Pa., died suddenly Sunday, October 22, 2000, in Uniontown Hospital.
He was born April 6, 1963, in Uniontown, Pa., son of Robert "Frank" Lake and Linda Lewis Lake of Uniontown, Pa.
Randy was a Fairchance Volunteer Fire Department Firefighter, social member of Alfred Wilson Memorial V.F.W. Post 7219, and member of First Presbyterian Church in Fairchance.
He was an employee of Charter Communications where he was a Manager.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Sandra "Sandi" Halterman Lake; his daughter, Ashley Marie Lake; brothers: Robert "Bobby" Lake and his wife, Donna, of Uniontown, Pa., and Ricky Lake and his wife, Sharon, of Fairchance; sisters: Pam Price and Bill Price, Smithfield, Pa., Theresa Baker and friend, Matt Nestor, Uniontown; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Walter and Carol Halterman, Fairchance; and grandmother-in-law, Sue Organt, Fairchance.
Randy was predeceased by is maternal grandparents, Ralph and Beatrice Lewis, great-grandmother, Iva Bryan, and grandparents-in-law, Duane and Mary Taylor and Marino A. Organt.

Adam M. Miedel, 90, of Hilltop Drive, Scottdale R.D.2, Pa., a prominent Scottdale businessman who founded Hilltop Lab Animals Inc. in Scottdale in 1928, died Saturday morning, October 21, 2000, in Jo-Ella’s Personal Care Home, Scottdale.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Laura Mae Jones Miedel with whom he celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on July 15, 2000; children: James F. Miedel and wife, Susie, of Scottdale R.D.2, Thomas R. Miedel and wife, Margaret Depta Miedel, Mount Nebo Manor, Scottdale, Jean Miedel Kammer and husband, Charles Kammer, of Baltimore, Md., and William P. Miedel and wife, Nancy M. Kenneth S. Parshall/Chief White Wolf-Sioux, 93, formerly of Butler, Pa., who was born in Blacksville, W.Va., an honorary member of the Cherokee Nation, died Thursday, October 19, 2000, in Edgewood Nursing Center, Unity Township, Westmoreland County, Pa.
He is survived by his wife, Olive of Florida; sons: Ernest Parshall of Butler and Terry Parshall of West Virginia; stepdaughter, Dolores Hodgdon of Florida; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a good friend, Laura Shoemaker of Vandergrift, Pa.
Funeral services and interment will be private.

Marion C. Nutter Phillips, 69, of Donegal who was born in Youngwood, Pa., died Thursday, October 19, 2000, in Allegheny University Hospitals, Allegheny General, Pittsburgh.
She is survived by three children: Sharon Lint of Everson, Pa., Donald L. Lankey of Pittsburgh, and Robin and her husband, Melvin Hensel, of Donegal, Pa.; granddaughter, Rhonda Overly; stepchildren: Michelle Hensel, Melvin Hensel, Scott Hensel, Mike Hensel, and Christina Randall.

She is survived by a son, Charles Clayton Schade and wife, Debbie, of Finleyville, Pa.; a sister, Lois Jean Hall Yellenic of Latrobe, Pa.; grandchildren: Jeannette Smith, Joanne Schade and Gary Schade; and two great-grandsons.

Daniel Stroup
Daniel "Dan" Stroup, 67, of Brownsville, Pa., formerly of Rices Landing, Pa., died Friday, October 20, 2000, in his home.
Born March 26, 1933, in Point Marion, Pa., he was a son of Daniel Paul Stroup and Minnie Lee Brown Stroup.
Mr. Stroup retired in 1987 from the United States Army Corps of Engineers at Neville Island where he was a Derrick Boat Operator of nearly 40 years.
A United States Navy Veteran, he served as a Boiler Technician 3rd Class during the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Lewis A. Stroup, and his parents.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Harriet "Adelaide" Burwell Stroup; his children: Cindy L. Jenko and her husband, Gerald, of White Oak, Pa., Debbie S. Synuria of Lantana, Florida, Daniel P. Stroup and his wife, Sheila, of Merrittstown, Pa., Janet L. Weight and her husband, Charles, of Monongahela, Pa., Lou Ann and her husband, Walter Bella, of East Millsboro, Pa., Kelley L. Rulong and her husband, Richard, of Stockdale, Pa., and Mark P. Stroup and his wife, Denise, of Smock, Pa.; 22 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Kathryn Venick, 74, a resident of Henry Clay Villa, Markleysburg, Pa., passed away Thursday, October 19, 2000, in Uniontown Hospital.
She was born August 9, 1926, in Greensburg, Pa., daughter of Alex Venick and Mary Kanafuska Venick.
Two sisters, Rose Nemchik and Mary Ritz, five brothers, Joseph Venick, Andrew Venick, Frank Venick, Daniel Venick, Michael Venick, and her parents preceded her in death.
Kathryn is survived by three daughters: Debra and her husband, Robert Cochrane, of Uniontown, Pa., Janet Cardenas of Miami, Florida, and Brenda and her husband, Thomas Rudolph, of Point Marion, Pa.; two sons: Daniel Dick of Cobbleskill, New York, and Robert Dick and his wife, Lorrie, of Naples, Florida; 10 grandchildren: Tara Dunham, Brian Cochrane, Korey Dick, Teddy Kell, Brittany Dick, Justin Dick, Bobbie Jo Dick, Trent Dick, Kaitlin Rudolph, Alexandra Rudolph; three sisters: Anna Shay of Hecla, Pa., Anne Skiera of Port St. Lucie, Florida, and Helen Guzy of Uniontown, Pa.; one brother, John Venick of Clarksville, Pa.; several nieces and nephews.
