Mary Ann Etling
Mary Ann Etling, 38, of Connellsville, Pa., died Saturday evening, Oct. 7, 2000, at home comforted by her family.
She was born Nov. 16, 1961, in Connellsville, Pa., a daughter of Wayne Etling and Dolores Canestrale Etling of Connellsville.
Mary Ann was a graduate of Connellsville High School Class of 1979, and Westmoreland County Community College in 1982, where she received an Associates Degree in Food Service Management and was consistently named to the Dean's List.
She was currently employed as the General Manager of Wendy's Restaurant in New Stanton.
She was a member of St. Rita's Roman Catholic Church, Connellsville, where she was active with various church functions. She was also a member of Mount Pleasant Fireman's Club.
Her brother, David Etling died in 1986. Also deceased are three uncles, Pete "Chicken", Mike, and Matthew Canestrale, and her grandparents, Clarence and Nora Mae Etling and Calcino and Mary Canestrale.
In addition to her parents she is survived by two aunts, Rose Fetsco of Connellsville, and Margaret Canestrale of Florida; two cousins: Ronald Fetsco and his wife, Connie, and their family of Connellsville, and Mary Margaret Lynch and her husband, Fred Lynch, and their family of Florida.
She is also survived by four special friends: Judy Peary and her daughter, Katie, of Uniontown, Pa., Judy Mascioli of Connellsville, and Tammy Serbanjak of Jeannette, Pa.; and many other close friends.
Friends will be received in the PAUL G. FINK FUNERAL HOME INC., 418 North Pittsburgh Street, Connellsville, Pa., today from Noon to 9 p.m., where a Blessing Service will be held on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m.
A Funeral Mass follows at Noon in St. Rita's Roman Catholic Church, Connellsville, with the Rev. Fr. Frank Lesniowski as celebrant.
Interment will follow in St. Rita's Cemetery, Connellsville.
Parish Wake Service will be held, in the funeral home today at 7 p.m.
Conor R. Hagenbuch
Conor Richard Hagenbuch, infant son of Wayne Michael and Alicia Marie Pike Hagenbuch of Uniontown, Pa., died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2000, in Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.
Besides his parents, Conor is survived by a brother, Joey Lee and sisters, Haley and Sidney Hagenbuch, all at home; and additional family.
Private arrangements were in the care of Confer Funeral Home, 515 Front St., Brownsville.
Pearl Koshara
Pearl Patricia Koshara, 98, of Scottdale, formerly of Pittsburgh, died Sunday, at the home of her niece, Thelma Wazybok.
Friends will be received at Frank Kapr Funeral Home Inc. 417 W. Pittsburgh St., Scottdale, today until 9:30 a.m.
Clarence R. Mock
Clarence R. (Bud) Mock, 74, of Beallsville, Pa., died Monday, Oct. 9, 2000, in Washington County Health Center, following a lengthy illness.
Mr. Mock worked in several coal mines in the Johnstown area, and later worked as a mechanic for the Lee Norse Company, in Charleroi, from where he retired.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille M. Williams, whom he married on Sept. 15, 1948, in Wilmore, Pa.; one daughter, Rita Rovnyak of Philadelphia, Pa.; two sons, David Mock of Scenery Hill, and Daniel Mock of California, Pa.; one sister, Ruby Mallin of Revloc Pa.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the Greenlee Funeral Home, Route 40, Beallsville, on Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2000, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and from 5 to 7 p.m., the hour of services.
Margaret Nagy
Margaret Nagy, 83, of Buffington, Pa., passed away Saturday, Oct. 7, 2000, in the Beverly Health Care Center, Uniontown, Pa.
She is survived by two sons, John A. Nagy and Joseph C. Nagy, both of Lakewood, Ohio; and a sister, Lena Vido of Dyer, Ind.
Preceding her in death was her husband, John A. Nagy Jr., on Aug. 31, 1999.
Funeral services were held on Monday, Oct. 9, 2000, in the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem, with her Pastor, the Rev. Paul N. Frank officiating.
Entombment followed in the Chapel of Peace mausoleum, LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
Joseph R. Shipley
Joseph R. Shipley Jr., 82, of South Connellsville, died Saturday, at his residence.
One son, Joseph R. Shipley III of South Connellsville; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Nancy) Swink of South Connellsville, Mrs. William (Constance) Green and Mrs. Herbert (Shirley) Osburn both of Pennsville, N.J.; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Roy A. Shipley and Donald Shipley both of South Connellsville and one sister, Edythe DeBolt of California, survive him.

Mary E. Rozell Sirianni, 87, of Scottdale, died Sunday, in Frick Hospital, Mount Pleasant.

Hilda B. Triplett
Hilda B. Triplett, 77, of Connellsville, died Sunday, at her residence.
A son, Gregory P. Triplett of Mount Pleasant; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Treasure A.) Lane of Everson and Ms. Laurel J. Triplett of Connellsville; three grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Robert (Marjorie) Staines of Connellsville, survive her.

Francis H. Underwood
Francis H. "Pete" Underwood, 43, a resident of Uniontown, Pa., died Sunday, October 8, 2000.
He was the son of the late Charles H. Underwood and Peggy Jaco Underwood.
He is survived by a sister, Claudia H. Gulley of Morgantown, W.Va.; and a brother, Charles G. Underwood of Baltimore, Md.
A Memorial Service will be held in the Fayette Resources Activity Center, Mill Street, Uniontown, Pa., on Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Shirley A. Wasko
Shirley Ann (Walsh) Wasko, 66, of Fairbank, Pa., passed away Monday, Oct. 9, 2000, at home.
She was born July 7, 1934, in Filbert, Pa., daughter of the late Robert and Minnie Haney Walsh.
Shirley is survived by her husband, John W. Wasko; the following children, Mrs. Charles (Karen) Zgela of Greensboro, Pa., Mrs. Larry (Linda) Evans of Labelle, Pa., John Wasko Jr., and his wife, Cindy of Filbert, Pa., Mrs. Keith (Lori) McDonough of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Chris Wasko of St. Clairsville, Ohio; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two brothers, James Walsh of Uniontown, and Chuck Walsh of Moultrie, Ga.
Friends will be received in the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, New Salem, today from 7 to 9 p.m., on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2000, until 11 a.m., the hour of service, with Pastor Andy Miles officiating. Interment will follow in Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown, Pa.
Marian Bailey
Marian Bailey, 89, of Port Clinton, Ohio, and formerly of Youngstown, Ohio, died Saturday at Edgewood Manor Nursing Center, in Port Clinton.
She was born Dec. 7, 1910, in Linn, Pa., the daughter of the late John and Verona (Hresko) Vohar.
Mrs. Bailey was a graduate of Youngstown State University, and received a Masters Degree from Westminster College. She was employed as an obstetric nurse at Northside Hospital, in Youngstown, and was also an instructor at Youngstown State University.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Port Clinton, and a former member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Youngstown, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ira H. Bailey, whom she married on April 23, 1937, and who preceded her in death on Nov. 20, 1986; a son, Jon W. Bailey; brothers, Steven, John, Nick and George Wohar; and sisters, Helen Latsko, Verna Lindquist and Margaret Izbrand.
Survivors include one brother, Joseph Wohar of Donora, Pa.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday at noon at Trinity United Methodist Church, 30 West Front St., Youngstown, Ohio. Interment will be in Greenhaven Memorial Park, Youngstown. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice. The NEIDECKER-LEVECK FUNERAL HOME, 1124 Fulton St., Port Clinton, is in charge of arrangements.
Geraldine C. Bavera
Geraldine "Jerry" C. Bavera, 77, of Waynesburg, Pa., died Sunday, Nov. 19, 2000, in Washington Hospital, Washington, Pa.
She worked as a bookkeeper for the John Howard Dealerships of Waynesburg, before retiring.
Surviving are a daughter, Carolyn Sue Patterson of Treasure Island, Fla.; two granddaughters; and a great-grandson.

Randall R. Hetrick Jr.
Randall Ray Hetrick Jr., seven (7), of Ralph, Pa., passed away Sunday, Nov. 19, 2000, at home.
He was a second grade student at George J. Plava Elementary School.
He is survived by his mother, Melissa Mitchell; his father, Randall Ray Hetrick Sr.; his stepfather, David Dillinger Sr.; two sisters, Krystal Daugherty and Katrina Mitchell; and three brothers, Wesley Patrick, David Dillinger II, and Jeremiah Dillinger;
