Sarah Capranica
Sarah (Miller) Capranica, 87, of Uniontown, Pa., died Tuesday, November 28, 2000 in Mount Macrina Manor.
She was born Dec. 25, 1912 in Calumet, Pa., daughter of the late Joseph H. and Jenny A. (Gettemy) Miller.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Minnie J. Doppelhauer and Etta Miller; and brothers, Joseph H., James G., and Lawrence Miller.
Mrs. Capranica was a member of St. Therese Roman Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Patsy R. Capranica; a son, Pat R. Capranica and wife Mary Lou of Raytown, Mo; a daughter, Sandra Williams and husband William of Uniontown, Pa.; four grandsons; three granddaughters; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Guy Miller of Uniontown, Pa.
Friends will be received in THE HAKY FUNERAL HOMES INC., 139 W. Fayette Street, Uniontown, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Friday, Dec. 1, 2000 until 9 a.m., when a Prayer Service will be held, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Therese R.C. Church with Rev. Fr. Patrick O’Connor as celebrant.
Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery.
Dorothy A. Coppetti
Dorothy A. Petlock Coppetti, 68, of Scottdale, (Kingview), died Monday, in Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg.
She is survived by her husband, Patsy F. Coppetti; three daughters, Mrs. Eric (Maria A.) Koter of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Randy (Suzann M.) Riblett of Greensburg and Mrs. Wayne (Gina A.) Creadick of Myersville, Md.; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchildren; two brothers, Richard Petlock of Clairton and William Petlock of Newark, Del. and one sister, Mrs. James (Paula) Fratto of Scottdale.
Friends will be received Frank Kapr Funeral Home Inc., 417 W. Pittsburgh St., Scottdale, today from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and until 9:30 a.m. Thursday.
Anna R. Everly
Anna R. Everly, 94, of Smithfield, Pa., died Friday, November 24, 2000 in the Sundale Nursing Home, Morgantown, W.Va.
She was born June 19, 1906 in Broadford, Pa., daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth Bendik Rogan.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Smithfield.
Surviving are her son John and his wife Elaine Everly of Washington, DC; and her daughter, Betty and her husband George Wilson of Morgantown, W.Va.; two grandchildren; Michael Wilson and Lisa Wilson Christopher and her husband Jeffrey of Morgantown, W.Va.; and one sister, Helen Rogan of Sharon, Pa.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Everly on June 12, 1964; four brothers: Michael, John, George, and Andrew Rogan; and two sisters, Mary Rokita and Elizabeth Sadler.
Private Funeral Services were held at THE LOUIS E. RUDOLPH FUNERAL HOME, 15 Main Street, Point Marion, on Tuesday, November 28, 2000 with the Rev. Mildred Martin officiating.
Interment followed in the Evergreen Memorial Park, Point Marion, Pa.
Catherine T. Post
Catherine T. Post, 82, of Clarksville, Pa. died Tues., Nov. 28, 2000 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by the Greenlee Funeral Home, Fredericktown Hill, 42 Bank Street, Fredericktown.
Thomas Rankin
Thomas "Bob" Rankin, 73, of South Franklin Township, Washington County, Pa., died Monday, November 27, 2000 in the Washington Hospital after a five month illness.
Mr. Rankin served Washington County over the years as a Deputy Constable, Deputy Sheriff, and County Detective. He formerly worked as a security guard for Glosser Brothers and as a truck driver for Gacon Construction.
He is survived by his wife, Myra Merchant Barnhouse; son, Patrick Barnhouse of Raleigh, N.C.; two daughters, Teri Barnhouse Worthington of Dayton, N.C., and Theresa Cooper of Washington; four brothers, Harry Rankin Jr., of Casterville, Texas, Donald, Ronald, and James Rankin, all of Uniontown; seven sisters, Irene Crupe and Ann Phillips of Washington, Jane Williams of Claysville, Gladys Bush of Perryopolis, Geraldine Fisher, Dottie Campbell, and Freda Boland, all of Fairchance; two granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the Hummell and Barnhill Memorial Chapel, 585 Fayette St., Washington, today from 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Friday at 11 a.m., the hour of service.
Inez Treacher
Inez (Scarlett) Treacher, 91, of Mill Run, Pa., passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2000.
She was born December 25, 1908 in Mill Run, Pa., where she lived her entire life.
The last seven years she made her home at Beatty’s Personal Care Home in West Leisenring, Pa.
She is the daughter of the late William Edward and Sarah Margaret Stark Scarlett.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Howard K. Treacher. They had been married 47 years at the time of his death in March of 1984.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters: Richard Scarlett, William Dewey Scarlett, Earl Scarlett, Edna Burnworth, and Prudence Orndorf.
Surviving are three children: Kenneth E. Treacher and wife Janet of Hopwood, Daniel B. Treacher and wife Pamela of Mill Run, Constance I. Bittner and husband Charles "Butch" of Mill Run; seven grandchildren: Allan W. Treacher of Confluence, Julie Treacher, Shane Treacher, Krista Thompson, Daniel Treacher II, Douglas Bittner and Gregory Bittner, all of Mill Run; six great-grandchildren: Ashlee Thompson, Martin Thompson, Daniel Treacher III, Taylor Treacher, Bryon Treacher, and Alexander Treacher.
Mrs. Treacher was a member of Hickmen Chapel Baptist Church and was the last member of her immediate family.
Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, FARMINGTON, today from 6 to 9 p.m., and Thursday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., the hour of service, with Rev. Carl Ritenour officiating.
Interment will follow in Indian Creek Baptist Cemetery.

Lorene E. "Renee" Winterhalter, 86, of Casa Grande, Ariz., died Nov. 22, at her residence.
A brother, Robert L. Miller of Connellsville and a sister, Florence Chilson of Casa Grande, survive her.
Mary Bogal
Mary Bogal, 86, of Uniontown, Pa., died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2001, in Uniontown Hospital.
She is survived by a daughter, Maryann Pitchford of Uniontown, Pa.; a sister, Katherine Bubonovich of Pittsburgh, Pa.; four grandchildren, Mary Beth Work and husband, Randy of Mill Run, Pa., James Pitchford and wife, Amanda of Carmichaels, Pa., Brian Pitchford of Uniontown, Pa., and Kathleen Fullem and husband, Todd of Uniontown; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A private service was held for the immediate family.
Arrangements were entrusted to the STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC., AT SYLVAN HEIGHTS Cemetery, A Dignity Memorial Provider.
Thomas Boring Jr.
Thomas "Jake" Boring Jr., 77, of Mount Pleasant R.D. 2, died Friday, Oct. 19, at IHS of Greater Pittsburgh, Greensburg.
He is survived by three sons, Wayne of Clarksville, Tenn., James of Bear, Del., and Charles of New Castle, Del.; one daughter, Mrs. Stanley (Charlotte) Stepnowski of Dover, Del.; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert V. Boring and Bud Arlin Boring, both of Mount Pleasant, R.D. 2, and a sister, Mrs. William (Alverda) Poorbaugh of Connellsville, R.D. 2 (Wooddale).
Arrangements were under the direction of Luther J. Grimm Funeral Home, Mount Pleasant.
Harry S. Bowman
Harry S. "Junior" Bowman, 66, of Smithfield, Pa., died Monday, October 22, 2001, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, West Virginia.
He was born March 23, 1935, in Martin, Pa., son of Harry J. Bowman and Viola Mae Hillen Bowman.
Harry was a member of Smithfield United Methodist Church and was employed with United States Steel for many years until his retirement.
He was predeceased by his parents, his first wife, Violet F. "Pat" Watson Bowman, infant son, Bernard Bowman, infant daughter, Delores Faye Bowman, brother, Charles W. Bowman, and sister, Jane Yeager.
Surviving are his wife, Delores Miller Bowman; his daughter, Laura L. Bowman, Smithfield; three step children: Donald Mill-er and wife Wendy, Smithfield, Terry Miller and wife Pamela, Uniontown, Pa., and Lana Miller, Uniontown; brothers and sisters: Dorothy Fraley, Orlando, Florida, Gertrude Bowman, Farmington, Pa., George G. Bowman and wife Gladys, Smithfield, Betty Hicks, Brownfield, Pa., Donald L. Bowman and wife Diane, Uniontown, and George Sandy Bowman and wife Martha of West Virginia; seven step grandchildren; one step great grandchild; and very close friends, Bill and Rose Clark.

Roseann M. Cipcic
Roseann M. (Rossi) Cipcic of Brentwood, Pa., died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2001.
She was the wife of Leonard N. Sr.; mother of Leonard Jr. (Loretta), Pamela and Andrew (Theresa) Cipcic, Judy (Frank) Milcarek and Kimberly (Norbert) Neumeyer; grandmother of five; and sister of Angie Wiland, Sonny Rossi and Andrew Rossi.
Friends will be received in the John F. Slater Funeral Home Inc., 4201 Brownsville Rd., Brentwood, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where a funeral prayer will be held on Thursday morning at 9:15 a.m.
Robert F. Daniocek
Robert F. Daniocek, 44, of Amherst, Ohio, died suddenly Sunday, Oct. 21, 2001.
He was born Aug. 25, 1957, in Uniontown, Pa., the son of the late Edward J. Daniocek and Margaret (Koposko) Skinner, who survives.
Robert was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Vermilion, Ohio, a social member of the American Legion Post 51 of Uniontown, and the North Union VFW Post 8543.
He enjoyed auto racing, hunting and fishing, horseshoes and camping.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Phyllis Daniocek; a daughter, Rebecca Daniocek at home; two sisters, Barbara Victor and husband, John of Elyria, Ohio, and Edward Daniocek and wife, Juanita of Moon Township, Pa.; a daughter, Debbie Miller and husband, Jim of Uniontown, Pa.; special uncles, Frank "Sonny" Koposko and Andrew "Bob" Koposko, both of Uniontown, Pa.; and many other special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
