Gary L. Weidner
July 10, 1944 - October 26, 2003
Gary L. Weidner, 59, of 108 Meadowlark Lane, Mohnton, (Brecknock Township/Lancaster County), died Sunday morning at 4:30 AM in Lancaster General Hospital. His death was due to a heart complications following hip surgery at Ephrata Community Hospital on Friday. Born in Reading, Berks County, he was a son of Evelyn G. (Hoffman) Weidner Smeltz, Allentown, and the late Walter Weidner. He and his wife, DiAnn L. (Good) Weidner, celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary on September 24th. He retired in 1998 after 35 years with Dana Corporation, Reading, where he was press operator. Weidner was a 1962 graduate of Reading High School. He enjoyed Nascar, fishing, boating and was a Philadelphia Eagles Football fan. He was a 30 year camping veteran of Steamboat Landing, Lewes, DE. Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are 2 sons, Scott R., marriage to Darlene (Brullo) Mohn, Bowmansville, PA; and Dennis A. Weidner, at home; a grandson; a brother, Richard D., marriage to Elaine (Stawiarski) Smeltz, Allentown; and a step-brother, Robert D., marriage to Sarah (Brown) Smeltz, Laureldale, PA.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday afternoon, October 29, 2003, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM from our funeral home. The ceremony celebrating Gary's life will begin at 5:00 PM with The Reverend Robert A. Witmyer officiating. Cremation will follow on Thursday.

Marguerite (Ketner) Weinhold
May 11, 1918 - August 14, 2001
Loving Wife, Mother & Grandmother
Marguerite K. Weinhold, 83, of 412 South Reamstown Road, Ephrata, Lancaster County, died Tuesday evening at 8:50 PM in the Ephrata Community Hospital where she was a patient since early Sunday morning. Born in Bern Township, Berks County, she was a daughter of the late Alvin and Mabel (Potteiger) Ketner, and was the wife of Ira E. Weinhold for 34 years on May 6th. She was a member of Muddy Creek Evangelical Lutheran Church, Denver. Many years ago she was employed by the Adams and Bright Drugstore, Hamburg. Marguerite enjoyed crocheting, having made numerous afghans and other items. Surviving in addition to her husband are 3 daughters, Sylvia S. (Sullivan), marriage to George J. Summons, Hamburg, PA; Dianne M. (Weinhold), marriage to John Woodson, Commerce, Georgia; Nancy A. (Weinhold), marriage to Patrick D. McQuate, Denver, PA; 5 sons, Richard A., marriage to Bonnie J. (Martz) Guarino, Hamburg, PA; David A., marriage to Betty Trump, Cochranville, PA; Ira A., marriage to Charmayne (Larry) Weinhold, Stevens, PA; Joe W., marriage to Bonnie (Pennell) Weinhold, Casselberry, Florida; and Bruce W., marriage to Debbie Weinhold, Orlando, Florida; 31 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandson. A daughter, Linda Ansel; a son, John Weinhold; and a sister, Betty Stoudt, preceded her in death.
Will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2001, at 2:00 PM from our parlors with The Reverend Jeffrey K. Lott officiating. A viewing will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Muddy Creek Cemetery, East Cocalico Township, PA.
Flowers will be received.

Dale B. Trick
April 3, 1937 - Dec. 9, 2001
Dale B. Trick, 64, of 10 Stoudtburg Road, Reinholds, Lancaster County, died in his residence Sunday morning at 2:40 AM under the care of Hospice of Lancaster County. Born in Sunbury, PA, he was a son of the late Augustus H. Trick, Sr. and Anna (Weisbrod) Trick. He was the husband of Charlotte Mae (Hoyt) Trick for 39 years on May 12, 2001. Retiring in 1999, he was employed for 36 years as a tool maker with Dana Corporation, at their former Reading location. Trick was an Air Force veteran (peace time) and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Surviving in addition to his wife are 3 daughters, Sharon, marriage to David College, Annville, PA; Brenda, marriage to Henry Tober, Lancaster, PA; and Michelle, marriage to E. Todd Bookman, Brownstown, PA; 6 grandchildren; a brother, Walter, marriage to Marie Trick, Haymarket, Virginia; and 2 sisters, Pauline, marriage to Raymond Kelley, Dushore, PA; and Mary Ann, marriage to Lawrence Bachman, Watsontown, PA.
Dale's viewing and funeral will be held from the East Cocalico Church of the Brethren, Bunker Hill Road, Reamstown, PA, on Wednesday, December 12, 2001. The viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at which time the service will begin.
The burial will take place at 2:00 PM in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Lebanon County, PA.

Corey A. Weinhold
October 26, 1971 - July 12, 2002
Corey A. Weinhold, 30, of 700 Main Street, Denver, Lancaster County, died in Lancaster General Hospital where he was a trauma patient since Thursday evening. He was fatally injured in a one-car accident in West Earl Township, Lancaster County, on Route 222 in the southbound lane at 6:30 PM Thursday. Born in Ephrata, Lancaster County, he was a son of Ira A. “Butch” Weinhold, Stevens, Lancaster County, and Grace M. (Stirk) Stump, Annville, Lebanon County. He was employed by Durawood Products, Denver, and was a 1989 graduate of Cocalico High School, Denver. Weinhold was a member of the Reamstown Athletic Association and the Adamstown Rod & Gun Club. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed shooting pool. Surviving in addition to his parents are two children, Nicholas A. Weinhold and Alexis L. Weinhold, at home; a companion, Penny Greenly, with whom he resided; his step-mother, Charmayne (Larry) Weinhold, Stevens, PA; his step-father, Harold Stump, Annville; a sister, Tracey A. (Weinhold), marriage to Steve Fisher, Akron, PA; a half-sister, Mandy Landis, Annville; a step-brother, Shawn D., marriage to Renea (Danco) Diamond, Pittsburgh, PA; and paternal grandparents, Ira E. Weinhold, Ephrata; and Marian (Bixler) Hoffman, Orlando, Florida.
The family will receive friends from our parlor on Tuesday evening, July 16, 2002, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. The funeral ceremony will be held from our funeral home on Wednesday, July 17, 2002, at 10:00 AM with Pastor Ken Fox officiating.
Burial will take place following the service in Pleasant View Cemetery, Sinking Spring, Berks County, PA.

Florence H. Weinhold
March 13, 1914 - July 2, 2002
Florence H. Weinhold, 88, formerly of Denver, Lancaster County, died Tuesday morning at 1:25 AM in Ephrata Manor, 99 Bethany Road, Ephrata, Lancaster County, where she resided since August 1995. Born in Brecknock Township, Lancaster County, she was a daughter of the late Charles B. and Jennie (Hornberger) Youndt. Her husband, Russell W. Weinhold, died January 14, 1998. She was a member of St. John’s Center United Church of Christ, East Earl, where she was a former member of the choir and pianist. Florence and her last husband owned and operated Weinhold Draperies from their home for many years, she was also employed part-time with her family as a clerk for Charles B. Youndt & Sons Butchers, Fivepointville, working at their stands at Green Dragon, Ephrata, and Reading Market at Windsor & Penn Streets. Many years ago she was also employed as a topper at the former Blue Line Knitting Mill, Denver. Surviving are a daughter, Carol S., wife of Harry H. Bitts, III, Lewes, DE; 2 sons, Ronald L., marriage to Barbara A. (Stork) Weinhold; and Larry E., marriage to Eunice F. (Good) Weinhold; both of Denver, PA; 7 Grandchildren and 11 Great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Edna H. (Youndt), marriage to David Musser, Emmaus, PA; and Stella H. (Youndt) Hawthorne, St. Petersburg, FL; and 2 brothers, Pherl H., marriage to Verna (Hainley) Youndt, Leola, PA; and Donald H., marriage to Nancy (Reider) Youndt, Denver, PA. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Weinhold, a great-granddaughter, Ashley Weinhold, 2 brothers, Ralph & Paul Youndt, and a sister, Helen (Youndt) Wolf.
Florence's viewing will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2002, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM from our funeral home. The ceremony will begin at 2:00 PM with her pastor, The Reverend Bradley J. Haws, officiating. Burial in Bowmansville Union Cemetery, Brecknock Township, Lancaster County, PA, will follow.
The family welcomes flowers or contributions in her memory be sent to her church at St. John's Center United Church of Christ, 432 Reading Road, East Earl, PA 17519.

Catherine E. Wenrich
June 1, 1924 - November 4, 2002
Catherine E. Wenrich, 78, formerly of Reinholds, Lancaster County, died Monday afternoon at 2:15 PM in ManorCare of Sinking Spring, Berks County, where she resided since April 16, 2001. Born in Fritztown, Berks County, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Mabel (Blatt) Heckman. Her husband, Galen G. Wenrich, died March 14, 1990. She was a member of Muddy Creek Evangelical Lutheran Church, Swartzville, Lancaster County. Many years ago she had worked at Bollman Hat Company, Adamstown, and had also worked in the restaurant and lounge of Manor Golf Course, Spring Township. Surviving is a son, Garry W. Wenrich, Denver, PA; 3 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; a sister, Helen, marriage to John Strohl, Denver, PA; and 2 brothers, Walter, marriage to Barbara (Eckenrode) Heckman, Lincoln Park (Reading), PA; and Robert Heckman, also a resident of ManorCare of Sinking Spring.
Catherine's viewing will be held on Wednesday evening, November 6, 2002, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM from our funeral home. The funeral ceremony will be on Thursday, November 7, 2002, at 10:00 AM with her pastor, The Reverend Jeffrey K. Lott, officiating.
She will be buried along side her husband, Galen, in Heidelberg Cemetery, Robesonia, Berks County, PA.

John Henry Werner
November 22, 1929 - November 23, 2002
John Henry Werner, 73, of 125 South Blainsport Road, Reinholds, Lancaster County, died Saturday evening at 10:30 PM in Ephrata Community Hospital where he was a patient since November 8th.
Born in Spring Township, Berks County, he was a son of the late John E. and Mabel M. (Wagner) Werner, and was the husband of Helen M. (Kramer) Werner for 36 years on March 26th. He was a farmer his entire life having retired in 1994 from the family farm where he had worked earlier with his father. A 1947 graduate of Wilson High School, he was a avid Blue Grass Music Fan, Cincinnati Reds Fan and a collector of license plates and baseball memorabilia.
Surviving in addition to his wife are 2 brothers, James E., marriage to Emily (Rissmiller) Werner; and Walter C., marriage to Lovina (Stoudt) Werner, both of Wernersville, PA.
John's viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2002, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM from our funeral parlor with the service beginning at 2:00 PM. The Reverend Dennis L. Trout will officiate. Burial will follow in Swamp Cemetery, Reinholds, Lancaster County, PA.
