Isaac Sensenig Martin, 80, of 1178 Lebanon Road, Manheim, died on Thursday, April 7, 2005. He suffered an apparent heart attack while driving on Route 72 north of Manheim.
Martin's life was devoted to Christ. He eagerly shared his faith in his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ with anyone he encountered. Until recently, he was a volunteer with Transport for Christ, an outreach ministry to truckers. He enjoyed conducting Bible studies with new believers and was quick to help people in need.
He was a member of Hernley's Mennonite Church, Manheim, where he was a Sunday school teacher and small group leader.
Martin was born in Ephrata on Aug. 16, 1924, to the late Noah and Susanna Martin. He was marriage to Elva Mae Sauder Martin for 59 years.
Since the early 1980s, Martin was an independent distributor of Gold Shield Elite natural and herbal products, which he sold to families across Pennsylvania. He also sold Gold Shield and gift items at Roots Country Market and at farm markets in Middletown, Leesport, Belleville and Hometown. He received numerous monthly awards for being the top salesman for Gold Shield Elite and the company's predecessors, Golden Pride and Golden Pride/Rawleigh.
Previously, he was the owner of Stiegel Valley Farms, a fresh produce and egg business. He and his employees delivered locally grown fruits, vegetables, meat and eggs door-to-door in Lancaster, Harrisburg and the Philadelphia suburbs.
He enjoyed playing board games with his children and grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Martin is survived by two sons, Glen Eugene, marriage to Susan Martin, of Lititz and Philip Dean, marriage to Ruth Ann Martin, of Manheim and four daughters, Lois Jean Ebersole of Manheim, Ruth Ann, marriage to Ray Kilgore of Lititz, Joy Marie, marriage to Raymond Weaver of Manheim and Linda Jane, marriage to Keith Espenshade of Lancaster. He also had 18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by five brothers, Walter of New Holland, Clarence of Manheim, Chester of Indiana, Noah of Johnstown and Melvin of California, and four sisters, Anna Mary Stauffer of Lititz, Irene Leaman of Ephrata, Catherine Longenecker of Virginia and Susan Weber of Ohio.
He was predeceased by a son-in-law, Dean Ebersole; a sister, Dorothy Freed and brother-in-laws, John Freed and Leon Weber.

Patricia A. Campbell, 60, of 452 Longfellow Drive, Lancaster died Tuesday afternoon at Lancaster General Hospital.
She was born in Lancaster the daughter of the late Evan L. Odgen and the late Maria A. (Cargas) Ogden, wife of the late Robert Kissinger. Patricia retired from Boliva Technology of Lancaster, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and traveling
She is survived by her son, Evan E. Miller of Lancaster; two daughters, Kandy A., marriage to Moises Rodriguez of Lancaster and Katrina L., marriage to Josh Kozlowski of Frederick, MD; a brother, Charles T. Ogden of Virginia Beach, VA; a sister, Maria E., marriage to Gary Irvin of Lancaster and two grandchildren, Collin and Olivia.
FUNERAL SERVICE: from the Young Funeral Home, 317 E. Orange St., Lancaster on Friday, April 8, 2005 at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in the Riverview Burial Park in Lancaster.

Glenn R. Huber, 70, of 6 Branstock Court, Lititz, died Tuesday at his residence. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Elmer Wissler and Esther Grace Andrews Huber. He was a civil servant and was employed by the US Government as a foreman at a power production plant. He was a veteran of the US Air Force, serving 9 years.
He was a member of the American Legion Garden Spot Post #56 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #3376 both of Lititz. He enjoyed his friends and was considered a tinkerer extraordinaire.
He was marriage to Maribel Borja Perez Huber. Also surviving are 3 sons, Glenn R. (Norma ) Huber, Dominican Republic, Oscar A. Huber, Pittsburgh and Ernest M. Huber, Beaumont, TX; 2 grandchildren, Veronica and Shelby; 2 brothers, Donald B (Rosemary) Huber and Jacques E. (Sandy) Huber, both of Lititz.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Spacht Funeral Home "A Life Celebration Funeral Home" is handling arrangements.

Lizzie E. Showers, 89, formerly of 100 E. Market St., Lititz, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday at Lancaster General Hospital.
She was born in Schaefferstown, daughter of the late John and Violet Kohl. She was a homemaker and a wonderful and loving wife and mother. She was the wife of the late Eugene K. Showers who died in 1990.
Surviving are 4 daughters, Dawn (Roger) Lumpkin, Ozark, AL, Sally Showers, Lititz, Connie (Phil) Leininger, Ephrata, Betsy (Allen) Green, Westminster, MD; 5 sons, Glenn (Agnes) Showers, Lititz, Robert (Mary) Showers, Oxnard, CA, John (Darlene) Showers, Lititz, Dale (Patricia) Showers, Lititz and Donald Showers, Kleinfeltersville; 10 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren and a sister, June (Jimmy) Miller, Schaefferstown. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce Showers; 2 sisters, Sally Carl and Daisy Hartman and 2 brothers, Warren and John Kohl.

Lawrence H. Diehl

Lawrence "Larry" H. Diehl, 78, of 203 South Spruce Street, Lititz, passed away Thursday at the Milton Hershey Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Violet Louise (Madara) Diehl and had been marriage for 54 years.
Born in Minersville, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Lawrence Diehl and Mary (Berrett) Diehl. Surviving, besides his wife, are three children, Christine L., wife of Curtis Bossert, Lawrence A. Diehl, husband of Verdie (Kassees) and B. Kay, wife of Barry Melchi, all of Lititz. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Keith Diehl, Teresa (Diehl) Goodhart, wife of Mike Goodhart, Christina Diehl, Michelle Bossert and Kevin Bossert, all of Lititz. A brother, David Diehl, also survives him.
He was employed as a pressroom foreman, retiring from Lancaster Press in 1990. Larry was a member of the Christian faith and was a charter member of the Calvary Methodist Church in Harrisburg. He enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, traveling, antique cars and trains. His family greatly admired his ability to fix and improve almost anything. As a young man he excelled at ice skating and roller skating.
A veteran of World War II, he served in the Philippines and in occupied Japan, and was honorably discharged as a sergeant.

Sara A. Reem

Sara A. Reem, 76, of 46 1/2 East Hummelstown Street, Elizabethtown, died Wednesday morning at her home. Born in Elizabethtown, she was the daughter of the late Miriam and Herman B. Meashey. She was the wife of Harvey E. Reem, III who died in 1990. She was of the protestant faith.
Mrs. Reem was a 1947 graduate of Elizabethtown High School. She worked in various area restaurants as a cook. A 39 year member of Chapter 701, Women of the Moose, Elizabethtown, she held various offices and received her Senior Regent College Degree in Mooseheart, IL, in 1972. She was also an avid Bingo player.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Reem was preceded in death by a son, Herman B. Reem.
She is survived by a daughter, Sara Reem, Elizabethtown; two sons, Harvey E., IV, Elizabethtown and Kenneth A., marriage to Erin Reem, Spring Grove; 4 grandchildren, Michael A. Reem, Jessica Groszkowski, Jennifer Detz and Kendra Reem and a great grandson, Braedyn Michael Detz.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2005 from the Frank S. Miller Funeral Home, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown at 11:00 AM. Friends may call on Monday evening from 6:30-8:30 and on Tuesday from 10:00 until the time of service. A service, conducted by Women of the Moose, Chapter 701, Elizabethtown, will be held Monday evening at 8:00 PM.
Forrest E. Valentine Sr.

Forrest E. Valentine Sr., 86, of 1226 Sagerville Road, Bainbridge, departed this life on Thursday at the ManorCare Health Services, Elizabethtown.
He was the son of the late Lester and Della Carbaugh Valentine.
Mr. Valentine was a retired employee of the former Olmsted Air Force Base, Middletown.
He was a member of the Word of Life Chapel, Bainbridge. He enjoyed the love of his family and especially his grand and great-grandchildren. He also enjoyed hunting, gardening, reading and listening to gospel music; he was a Penn State Football Team supporter.
He was the widower of Louis A. Cregg Valentine.
He is survived by his son, Forrest E. Jr. and his wife, Bonnie K. Weaver Valentine, Middletown; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A tribute to his life will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Monday at the Matinchek and Daughter Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Middletown, with the Rev. Donald C. Wagner, his pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Hillsdale Cemetery, Londonderry Township. Visitation will be from 10 AM to time of services, Monday at the funeral home.
