Dr. Elwood Winston Swift, 88, of 263 LaPaz Drive, Kissimmee, Fla., formerly of Lancaster, died Thursday at home after a brief illness.
Born in Lancaster, he as the son of the Dr. Ned L. and Dr. Alice Baker Swift.
He was marriage 20 years in July to Evelyn Mischlich Swift.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Sarah K. Sites of Ephrata; a stepdaughter, Lindalou Hauersperger of Rantoul, Ill.; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Alice Frances Gendell; three sisters, Dr. A. Aline Swift, Lenore S. Batdorf and Helen Crudden; and a brother, Royden.
Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Kearney A. Snyder Funeral Home, 141 E. Orange Street, Lancaster,Pa on Friday, Sept. 5 at 2 P.M. with the Rev. Robert W. Tanguy officiating. Interment in Riverview Burial Park. Friends May call at the Kearney A. Snyder Funeral Home on Thursday, Sept. 4 from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday from 1 p.m. until time of service.
Kathleen C. McCalmont, Dart Inspector
Kathleen C. McCalmont, 53, of 1010 N. Duke St., died of natural causes Saturday at home.
Born in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Luella Richardson McCalmont Geiter Of Lancaster and the Late Ross W. McCalmont Sr. She was the stepdaughter of Fred H. Geiter Jr. of Lancaster.
Surviving in addition to her mother and stepfather are a son, Matthew T.M. Brown Of Lancaster; two grandchildren; two sisters, Sandra Hebbe of Goochland, Va., and Judith McEachin of York; and a brother, Ross W. Jr. of Lancaster.
Helen F. Shelley, 85, High School Teacher
Helen F. Shelley, 85, of Homestead Village, 1800 Village Circle, died Monday at her home after a brief illness.
Born in Sumner, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Louis Almand and Mable Dickman Farrand. Later, her mother marriage the late Rev. J.C.H. Light.
Her husband, Kenneth C. Shelley, died in 1997.
She is survived by a son, Peter F., marriage to Maureen C. Shelley of Beaver Falls; a daughter, Elizabeth S., marriage to David W. Love of Ipswich, Mass.; a daughter-in-law Patrice M. Shelly of Pittsburgh; seven grandchildren; a sister, Evelyn Reeber of Atco, N.J.; and a stepsister, Marion Elberti of Sellersville.
She was preceded in death by a son, Paul F. Shelley; and two sisters, Lucile Light and Ruth Huber.
The funeral service will be held at Saint Peter's United Church of Christ, 358 College Ave., Lancaster, Pa on Thursday at 11:00 am with Pastor Audrey L. Shirk Officiating. Interment will be at the Moravian Cemetery, Lititz, Pa. There will be not public viewing. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 10:00am until the time of service. Kathlene V. Keller Gollatz, 88, of Brethren Village, 3001 Lititz Pike, died there Tuesday of natural causes.
Mrs. Gollatz was a secretary in the general office of Armstrong World Industries.
Born in Youngstown, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Ralph F. and Sydney Zellers Keller.
Surviving are three sons, Thomas G. of East Petersburg, James R., husband of Vivien Gollatz of Allentown, and William D., husband of Kathy Gollatz of Millersville; three daughters, Mariana Rivera of Oakland, Calif., Alice, wife of Thomas Simmons of Glen Rock, and Jane, wife of Gerald Boyer of Lebanon; and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson and a brother, Frederick Keller.
A funeral service will be on Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Chapel at brethren Village, 3001 Lititz Pike, Lancaster, PA with the Rev. Joseph Shanley officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Lancaster, Pa. Friends may call at Brethren Village on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of service.

Carolyn C. Justice, 88, of 502 Elizabeth Drive, died of natural causes Monday at Calvary Fellowship Homes.
Born in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late M. England and Floye Miller Coston.
Surviving are a son, David Lester Justice, husband of Jody Adams of Blue Ball; two daughters, Judith J., wife of Donald Landis of Lancaster, and Ruth Ann Jeremiah of Lebanon; and seven grandchildren.
The memorial service will be on Monday at 10:00 AM at he Calvary Fellowship Homes in Fellowship Hall, 502 Elizabeth Dr., Lancaster, PA with the Rev. Roy Hudson and the Rev. Walter S. Jackson officiating. Interment will be in Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA. The family will receive relatives and friends immediately following the Memorial Service. Please omit flowers. Ruth N. Frantz, 87, a longtime school teacher who lived at Homestead Village, 1800 Village Circle, died there Sunday after a long illness.
Born in Manor Township, she was the daughter of the late Roy E., and Fannie Herr Frantz.
Surviving are two sisters, Esther Weaver and Hazel I. Garner, both of Lancaster.
A memorial service will be held at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Lititz Pike and Delp Road, Lancaster, a on Wednesday at 11 AM with the Rev. Craig A. Ross officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 10 AM until time of service.

Doris E. Stahl, 78, of Landis homes, Lititz, formerly of 20 Meadowview Ave., died Monday at home after a long illness.
Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Phares and Elizabeth Daily Hershour.
Her Husband, Benjamin H. Stahl Jr., died in 1994.
She is survived by a sister, Ruth H., marriage to Robert Taylor of Dunnellon, Fla.
The funeral will be held at St. James Episcopal Church, corner of Duke and Orange Sts., Lancaster, on Wednesday at 2PM with the Rev. Mary Martha Solbak officiating.
