Beverly C. Neff, 83, of 100 Abbeyville Road, formerly of 911 Union St., died Monday at ManorCare Health Center after a brief illness.
Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Florence Markey Carr.
Surviving are two daughters, Phyllis J., marriage to Kenneth L. Provost of Harrisburg, and Kathleen A. Neff of Selinsgrove; two granddaughters; and a great-granddaughters. She was preceded in death by a sister, Emily Wiegand; and two brothers, Richard S. and Norman D. Carr.
Services will be private at the convience of the family.
Dixie-Anna Spencer,2,of Mountville
Dixie-Anna C. Spencer, 2 of 167 E. Main St., Mountville, died Tuesday at Lancaster General Hospital.
Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Christine M. Spencer Hildebrand and the stepdaughter of Robert E. Hildebrand.
Surviving besides her mother and stepfather are paternal grandfather Clifford J. Spencer of Landisville; paternal grandmother Catherine J. mitzel of Windsor; step grandfather Robert P. Hildebrand of Lancaster; maternal great-grandmother Jane C. Gordon Of Lancaster; and paternal stepgreatgrandmother Shirley Spencer of Mountville.

John Maddox, 97, Armstrong chemist
John R. Maddox, 97 of the Mennonite Home, formerly of 822 Lehigh Ave., died Wednesday morning at the home.
Born in Baltimore County, Md., he was the son of the late John R. Sr. and Mae Parlett Maddox.
His wife, Edna E. Bushman Maddox, died in 1999.
Surviving are a daughter, Sandra E., marriage to James S. Madara of Lancaster, a son, Barry A., marriage to Polly e. Maddox of Lancaster, six grandchildren; four great-granddaughters; and a brother, Earl of York.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Anna Battle; and two brothers, William and Harry.
A funeral will be held at the First United Methodist Church, corner of duke and Walnut Sts. on Sunday at 3:00 PM with the Rev. Robert W. Tanguy and Rev. Mark E. Kroehler officiating. Private interment in Millersville Mennonite Cemetery. Friends may call at the Church on Sunday from 2:00 PM until the time of service.
Jean Hoffman, 76, retired payroll clerk
Jean M. Hoffman, 76, of 3111 Lititz Pike, Lititz, died Wednesday at home after a long battle with myelodisplasia.
Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Robert John and Edna Rathvon Hagelgans.
Surviving are a daughter, Donna J. Mull of Lancaster; three sons, H. Gregg, marriage to Bonnie Schuler, and Gary S., marriage to Mee Kyung Schuler, both of Lancaster, and Timothy G., marriage to Stacey Schuler of Chambersburg; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother J. Thomas Hagelgans of Lancaster; and two sisters, Dolores James and Eleanor Cook, both of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert J. Hagelgans.
The Memorial service from the Lutheran church of the Good shepherd, 750 Greenfield Road, Lancaster, Pa. on Monday at 10:00 AM with the Rev. Mark L. Russell officiating. Interment will be in The church Memorial Garden. Friends may call on Monday at the church from 9:30 AM until the time of service.

Esther Florian Pauk, 88, formerly of Ithaca, N.Y., died Saturday at The Glen at Willow Valley after a brief illness.
Born in West Haven, she was the daughter of the late Charles Ernest and Eva Harris Florian.
She was marriage 59 years on July 27 to Walter J. Pauk.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Laurel R. Pauk of Fort Myers Beach, Fla; a son, Richard C. of Palm Harbor, Fla.; and a sister, Shirley DeSantos of Newark, Del.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Florian

She is the widow of William W. Feagley.

William T. Carter, 80, of 2590 Spring Valley Road, died of natural causes Saturday at home. Born in Port Limon, Costa Rica, he was the son of the late Maurice O. Sr. and Martha Dugan Carter. He was marriage to A. Carolyn Jones Carter. Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Elaine Stonkus of Lynn, Mass., and Christine L., marriage to Robert Schweizer of Avon, Conn.; a son, Paul Carter, marriage to Maureen Lindh of Port Angelos, Wash., four grandchildren; a sister, Martha Smith of Lancaster, Mass.; and two brothers, Maurice Jr., marriage to Helen marriage to Ruth Interment in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery. Marianne E. Stoltzfus Nordstom, 66, of 157 Riveredge Drive, Leola, died unexpectedly Tuesday at Lancaster General hospital.
Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Morris Abraham and Ruth E. Weidle Stoltzfus.
Surviving are a son, Eric A., husband of Deana R. Nordstrom of Lancaster, and a sister, Ruth S., wife of Charles T. Jones of Jonestown.
