Christine R. Powers, 90, of 675 Willow Valley Square, died Tuesday at The Glen at Willow Valley after a long illness.
Born in Franklinville, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Frank S. and Nellie Simmermon Ritchie.
Her husband, Earle Powers Jr., died in 1999.
Surviving are a daughter, Anne Powers, marriage to Jack Belton of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at the Collingswood First United Methodist Church, 201 Dayton Ave. Collingswood, NJ. on Saturday at 10:30 Am with the Rev. Richard W. Esher officiating. Interment in Locustwood Memorial Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10Am until the time of service.
Mike Scialabba, personnel manager
Mike J. Scialabba, 73, of 162 Colonial Crest Drive, Lancaster, PA formerly of Huntingdon and Sumter, S.C., died Thursday at Lancaster Regional Medical Center after a long illness.
Born in Huntingdon, he was the son of the late Michael and Nardina Capizzi Scialabba.
Surviving are two daughters, Deborah S. Martin of Lancaster and Susan S, marriage to Harry died Saturday at Lakeside at Willow Valley.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Julius and Mae L. Heppe.
She was the wife of the late Moses Brown.
Surviving are three daughters, Judith Mae Warrington of Drexel Hill, Deborah J., marriage to Fred Pike of Lakeland, Fla., and Kathleen E., marriage to the Rev. David L. Whiteman of Stephenville, Texas; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildern.
Funeral Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Robert Johnson, 85, Navy Veteran
Robert Johnson, 85, of 825 Olde Hickory Road, died Sunday at Moravian manor, Lititz, after a long illness.
Born in Yonkers, N.Y., he was the son of the late Albert A. and Ida Kott Johnson.
He was marriage 56 years on March 1 to Grace Johnson.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughters, Robyn J. Alspach of Lancaster; and two grandchildren.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Kenneth Kirchoff, 86, owned company
Kenneth H. Kirchoff, 86, of 2641 Lititz Pike, died of natural causes Sunday at Lancaster General Hospital.
Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Frank A. and Lida E. Forwood Kirchoff.
He was marriage 68 years to Anna E. Johns Kirchoff.
Surviving besides his wife are three daughters, Barbara K. Gerhart and Rebecca J. Brown, both of Lancaster; and Cynthia L. Kirchoff, marriage to Robert N. Hartley of Mottisfont, England; six grandchildern; and six great-grandchildern.
Also surviving are a brother, Jack H., marriage to Polly Kirchoff of manheim; and two sisters, Helen, marriage to Francis Fultz of Lancaster, and Ethel Miller of Barnsboro.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Kirchoff, and two sisters Daisy Spangler and Ruth Brooks.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Helen I. Betz Cavna, 84, of Lancaster, died September 14 at Conestoga View. She was the widow of Cletus Cavna who died May 15, 1999. Born in Manor Twp., she was a daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Jacob Betz.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Lancaster. She retired as a proof reader at the White Oak Co., Lancaster. Previously she was a secretary to Mayor Monaghan of Lancaster.
Survivors: son, Richard C., marriage to Marilyn Schreck of Lancaster, sister, Catherine Minnich of Lititz, and grandson, Keith R. Cavna. She was preceded in death by brothers John and Jacob Betz.
Graveside services 11 AM Monday, Sept. 20, 2004 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
Michael G. Nast

Michael G. Nast, 37, died in an underwater diving accident near Cancun, Mexico, on December 9, 2004.
Nast is survived by his wife, Julie R. Brahmer, M.D., a thoracic oncologist at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Maryland, to whom he was marriage in June 2004.
Nast was born in Mount Holly, New Jersey, and moved to Lancaster when he was 13. He graduated from Hempfield High School in 1985, where he was a member of the cross country and track teams, and co-captain of the latter in his senior year.
After graduating from Hempfield, Nast enrolled at Haverford College, where he spent his freshman year. He then transferred to Cornell University, from which he graduated in 1989, Phi Betta Kappa and magna cum laude, with a degree in history.
Nast then enrolled at Cornell Law School, from which he graduated with honors in 1992. After his graduation from Cornell, Nast spent a year as a law clerk to the Honorable D. Richard Eckman, President Judge of the Lancaster County Court of Common Pleas.
After his clerkship, Nast went to work as an Assistant District Attorney in Luzerne County, where he tried more than 60 cases. Nast was then hired as an Assistant District Attorney in Lancaster County. After working at the Lancaster County District Attorney office, he worked for the attorney General of Pennsylvania.
Nast then went into private practice with the firm of RodaNast, P.C., where he concentrated his practice on class actions and complex litigation. In 2003, he was recognized by Philadelphia Magazine as one of the top lawyers in Pennsylvania under the age of 40.
Nast was active in the Lancaster Bar Association; he was an editor of its publication, and was the vice-president of the Lancaster Bar Association. He was also active in Lancaster politics, and in 2003, was elected a Republican committeeman in East Hempfield Twp.
In addition to diving, Nast enjoyed competitive cycling and long distance running. He successfully completed four marathons during his lifetime.
Nast was the son of Dianne M. Nast and Joseph F. Roda, of Lancaster, and Michael E. Gallucci, of Philadelphia. He had three brothers, Daniel N. Gallucci, husband of Kimberly, Joseph N. Roda, and Joshua N. Roda; and one sister, Anastasia N. Roda, all of Lancaster.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at The Church of St. Leo the Great, 2427 Marietta Ave., Lancaster, on Wednesday, December 15, at 1PM with the Reverend William J. Sullivan as celebrant. The family will receive friends at their home, 1059 Sylvan Road, Lancaster, on Tuesday afternoon, December 14, from 4PM until 7PM. Please enter the family residence from Sylvan Road.
