Beverly Ruth White, 65, of Cochranville died on Tuesday, September 14, 2004 at the Brandywine Hospital. She was the wife of Harold White, Jr., with whom she shared 36 years of marriage. Born in Dover, NJ she was the daughter of the late Harry V. and Mildred H. Linderman Handershot. She was a graduate of Upsala College in Orange, NJ. An area resident since 1975, she was employed by Accountemps of King of Prussia as a consultant. Her activities included membership in the American Motorcycle Organization of Pickerington, Ohio.
She is survived, in addition to her husband, by two sons, David R. White of Barnegat, NJ and Mark W. White of Loudonville, NY; and one brother, Albert G. Smith of North Adams, Mass.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 20, 2004 at 11:00 am from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, PA. Interment will follow at the Cochranville Methodist Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and also Monday morning from 10:00 am to the time of the service.
Hilda Irene (Patches) Donmoyer

Hilda Irene (Patches) Donmoyer, 86, Weatherwood Home, Weatherly, PA, formerly of Ephrata, PA, died Tuesday at the Home after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Donmoyer was formerly active in The Grace E.C. Church, Ephrata, PA and had been employed as a clerk at Hollingers Farm Market, Ephrata. She was daughter to the late Edward and Mabel Wenrich Patches. Surviving is a daughter, Fern E., wife of Robert C. Mark of Lebanon, PA, a son-in-law, Ronald, husband of the late Shirley Donmoyer Lauver, of MacAdoo, 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral services at Gravenor Home for Funerals, Inc., 100 W. Main St., Ephrata, Saturday morning at 10, Rev. Jeffrey L. Martin officiating. Interment in Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Brickerville. Friends may call at the funeral home, Fri. eve., 7 to 9 PM, and also for one hour prior to the Service on Saturday morning.
Rev. William H. Siegel

Rev. William H. Siegel, 90, of 404 Fairview St., Terre Hill, died Tuesday evening at Masonic Homes where he had resided for the past month. He is survived by his wife, Beatrice (Eisenhauer) Siegel. They had observed their 65th anniversary on August 2.
Born in Wilkes Barre, he was the son of the late Sara (Yeager) Hicks.
A graduate of Lancaster Theological Seminary, he was licensed to preach on June 1, 1939 by the Susquehanna Synod and ordained in First Evangelical & Reformed Church, Berwick in June 18, 1939. He had served several U. C. C. charges including St. John's Center U. C. C., East Earl, from which he retired in 1979 and where he remained a member. He had also served interim pastorates in Lebanon; Bethany U. C. C., Ephrata, and St. Stephen U. C. C., New Holland where he remained a member of the 9:15 Class.
An active Mason, he was a member of the Scottish Rite, 32nd degree, Valley of Reading; past Worshipful Master of Howell Lodge 405, F & A. M., Honey Brook; past president of the Board of Governors of the School of Instruction, Coatesville; and past Chaplain of the Grand Lodge of PA.
He was also a volunteer for the Ephrata Community Hospital and the Association for the Blind.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Dr. John E. marriage to Lynne Siegel, Greenville, NC and a daughter, Judith Ann, Terre Hill; two grandsons, four great-grandchildren, and a sister, Elaine Galvin, Shillington.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday at 1:30 PM at St. John's Center United Church of Christ, 432 Reading Rd., East Earl with Rev. Brad Haws officiating. Friends will be received immediately following the service. Private interment at the convenience of the family in St. Stephen UCC Cemetery, New Holland. In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made to the Building Fund of St. John's Center UCC, 432 Reading Rd., East Earl, PA 17519. The Beck Funeral Home, New Holland is in charge of arrangements.
Lawrence Felder Sr.

Lawrence Felder, Sr., 66, of Lancaster, PA, died 9.14.2004 at the Essa Flory Hospice Center. He was the husband of Georgianna Delaney Felder whom he marriage 7.2.1960. He was born in Summerton, SC, a son of Maria Brunson Felder, Manning, SC, and the late Jimmy Felder. He was formally educated at Oak Grove and Spring Hill Schools, Summerton, SC. He and his wife moved to Lancaster in 1961. He worked at Alcoa, Lancaster, in the maintenance department for over 20 years. He was a member and Deacon of Ray's Temple Church of God; Christ, Lancaster. He enjoyed lawn mower repair, drawing and playing guitar.
Surviving besides his wife and mother are three daughters: Loretta Frances (Carl L.) Elliott, Janet Felder & Pearlean Felder, all of Lancaster; a son, Lawrence Edward (Lisa) Felder, Lancaster; eight grandchildren; eleven sisters: Mary (Frank) Moore and Martha Huggins, both of Belle Glade, FL; Mary L. Robinson and Lenora (Chester) Kilburn, Evangelist Frances (Elder Willie) Morant, Theola Felder, all of Lancaster; Rev. Marie (William) Harvin and Bertha Felder, Alcolu, SC; Margaretta Felder and Margaret Ann Hilton, Manning, SC; Carrie M. Hilton-Felder, Davis Station, SC. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Mose and Rev. Jimmy Felder.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his Life Celebration on Saturday at 1 P.M. at Ray's Temple Church of God in Christ. Viewing one hour prior. William H. Smith

William H. Smith, 89, of 338 Carnation Drive, New Providence, died of natural causes on Wednesday at Heart of Lancaster Medical Center. He was the husband of Rose M. Paparo Smith. He was born in Lititz, the son of the late William H. and Edna Daily Smith.
Mr. Smith was a retired pipe-fitter for the former RCA, Lancaster. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Lancaster. A World War II veteran, he served in the US Navy.
He is survived by two sons, William H. marriage to Blanche Smith and Edward D. marriage to Barbara Smith both of Lancaster; four daughters, Shirley A. marriage to Gerald T. Horn of Lancaster, Carolyn Kennedy of Conestoga, Judy marriage to Robert Saylor of Lancaster, Audrey marriage to Leon Baughman of Willow Street; a step daughter, Linda R. Yost of Lancaster; 14 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; a brother, J. David Smith; three sisters, Ethel Smith, Catherine marriage to John Gross and Lois Jones.
Funeral services will be held from the First Presbyterian Church of Lancaster, 140 East Orange Street Lancaster, PA 17602, on Monday at 11:00AM. Henry M. Hose, 82, of 104 Millers Crossing, Millersville, died Sunday at Conestoga View, after a brief illness.
Born in Brooklyn, he worked in production in NY, and then at Darrenkamp s in Willow Street. He served in the Army during World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Nancy A. Ulmer Flora Hose, a stepson, Harold V. Flora, Jr. marriage to Jini Flora of Paradise; a stepdaughter Debra A. marriage to James R. Oatman of Lancaster; and 4 step-grandchildren.

George L. Kauffman Sr.

George L. Kauffman, Sr., 83, of 306 Red Oak Drive, Manheim, PA, a retired secondary school teacher in the Johnstown School District where he worked for 18 years, died Wednesday morning at Pleasant View Retirement Community in Manheim, PA. He was born in Altoona, PA and was the son of the late Charles F. and Mary Wagner Kauffman.
He was a graduate of Lock Haven University and a life member of the National Education Association and the Pennsylvania State Education Association. After his retirement, he owned and operated a private driver s education company. He was a member of Lakeview Bible Church in Manheim and served in the US Marine Corps during WW II.
He was marriage for 57 years to his wife, Dorothy M. Hostetter Kauffman, also of Manheim. Survivors also include two sons, George L., Jr. marriage to Donna T. Kauffman, of Evans, GA, and Charles R. Kauffman of Manheim. One daughter, Marianne L. marriage to Robert C. Wood of Oceanside, CA, and a brother, Charles F. Kauffman of Lock Haven. Four grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 PM at Pleasant View Retirement Community Chapel, 544 Penryn Road, Manheim, with Reverend Donald E. Hollinger officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens, Ephrata, PA. A viewing will be held at the Pleasant View Chapel on Monday from 1 PM until the time of service.
