Mildred A. Eckenroth, 76, of 16 Locust Bend Road, Ephrata, Lancaster County, died Monday afternoon at 4:31 PM in Maple Farms Nursing Center, Akron, Lancaster County, where she was a resident since May 25. Born in Brecknock Township, Lancaster County, she was a daughter of the late Isaac P. and Elsie K. (Messner) Swartz. Her husband, Richard T. Eckenroth, died May 12, 1995. Retiring May 9, 1995, she was employed for 30 years by the former Hess Foods, Inc., Ephrata. She was a 1945 graduate of East Cocalico High School, and had been an organist and pianist at the former Muddy Creek Reformed Church and the Union Sunday School, Swartzville. She was a member of the Adamstown VFW Ladies Auxiliary, enjoyed crocheting and trips to Potter County. Surviving are 3 daughters, Betty, marriage to Herman Eberly, Denver, PA; Donna Eckenroth, Ephrata, PA; and Kathy, marriage to David Eager, Denver, PA; 2 sons, Kenneth E., marriage to Arlene (Leed) Eckenroth, Mohnton, PA; and Richard C. Eckenroth, Denver, PA; 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Thursday evening, June 10, 2004, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm from our parlors. The service celebrating Mildred's life will be held at our funeral home on Friday morning, June 11, 2004, at 10:00 AM with Pastor Randy Ott and Pastor Bill Sloat officiating. Interment will follow in Muddy Creek Cemetery, Swartzville, Lancaster County, PA.

Jerry H. Englert
February 9, 1931 - February 1, 2005
Jerry H. Englert, 73, of 3 James Drive, Denver, Lancaster County, PA, died Tuesday morning in Harrisburg Hospital following a lengthy battle with kidney disease. Born February 9, 1931, in Lockport, PA, he was a son of the late Lester C. and Marilla (Hoy) Englert, Sr., and was the husband of Ann (Cross) Englert for 53 years. A member, former elder, deacon and council member of Peace United Church of Christ, Swartzville, Lancaster County, he retired in 1987 after 33 years with General Public Utilities, now First Energy Corporation, Reading, PA, as a systems analyst. Jerry was a staff sergeant in the the army during the Korean War and had attended Lycoming College, Williamsport, PA. He was past president of the East Cocalico Lions Club, Reamstown, PA and a member of the Randolph Lodge #1268 Free & Accpeted Masons of Schertz,Texas, Scottish Rite of San Antonio, TX, and the Rajah Temple, Reading.. Surviving in addition to his wife is a son, Jerry L., husband of Diane (Shober) Englert; and a daughter, Amy M., wife of Douglas A. Sawyer, both of Denver, PA; 2 grandsons, Joshua and Drew; and a brother, Lester C. Englert, Jr., Lock Haven, PA.
A viewing will be held on Saturday morning, February 5, 2005, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM from Peace United Church of Christ, 37 East Swartzville Road, Denver, PA 17517. The ceremony celebrating Jerry's life will begin at 11:00 AM with his pastor, The Reverend William E. Hoch, officiating.
Burial will follow in Muddy Creek Cemetery, Swartzville, Lancaster County, PA.

Jeanne B. Fausnacht, 80, of 18 Stevens Road, Stevens, Lancaster County, died Wednesday, March 22, 2006. at 4:10 PM in her residence under the care of Hospice of Lancaster County. Born April 8, 1925, in Lancaster, she was a daughter of the late Augustus and Gertrude S. (Brown) Albright, and was the wife of H. Kenneth Fausnacht for 48 years. A member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Denver, she was a volunteer and coordinator at the Ephrata Community Hospital for many years. Jeanne was a 1943 graduate of McCaskey High School, Lancaster, and had worked for Raub Supply and K&W Tire Company, both Lancaster. She enjoyed traveling, flying, crossword puzzles and was a member of the Johnny Mathis Fan Club. Surviving in addition to her husband are 3 sons, John R., husband of Jackie (McGinnity) Fausnacht, Mesa, AZ ; James S. Fausnacht, companion of Mary Markle, York, PA ; and Craig R., husband of Katrina (Stauffer) Fausnacht, Millersville, PA ; and 3 grandchildren, Stephanie, Brandon & Alex. She was preceded in death by a sister, Miriam (Albright) Zeigler.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 27, 2006, at 10:00 AM from Good Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Inc. of Reamstown with The Reverend David R. Brumbaugh officiating. A viewing will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 AM.
Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Denver, PA.

Wanda C. Fisher, 71, of 1280 Crestview Drive, Denver, Lancaster County, died Easter Sunday, March 27, 2005, in her residence under the care of Berks Visiting Nurses Hospice. Born December 11, 1933, in York, PA, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Leah (Eppley) Coble, and was the wife of Robert L. Fisher, for 49 years. Wanda was a 1951 graduate of John Harris High School, Harrisburg, PA, and a 1955 graduate of Shippensburg University . She attended High Point Baptist Church, Geigertown, PA. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Kent, husband of Bonnie (Robson) Fisher, Souderton, PA; 2 daughters, Keely, wife of Frank Dumbleton, Allentown, PA; and Kourtney, wife of Donald Klotz, Winchester, VA; 4 grandchildren and 2 brothers, Cletus and Neil Coble, both of York, PA.
There will be no public viewing. Private interment in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg, PA.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2005, at 11:00 AM from Heritage Baptist Church, Route 309, Orefield, PA, with Pastor James Barr officiating.

Henry F. Delasser, 72, of 505 West Mahanoy Avenue, Girardville, Schuylkill County, formerly of Denver, PA, died Monday morning at 12:45 AM in Ashland Hospital, Ashland, Schuylkill County, where he was a patient since July 30th. Born in Wilmington, Delaware, he was a son of the late Frank and Dorothy (Bredbenner) Delasser. He was the husband of Verna V. (Mellen) Delasser. His first wife, Dolores R. (Mellen) Delasser, died December 8, 1988. He was employed for many years as a security guard for Renninger’s Antique Market of Adamstown, Lancaster County . Henry was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Frackville, Schuylkill County, PA. Surviving in addition to his wife is a son, Gary W., marriage to Cindy (Gibison) Delasser, New Castle, DE; a step-daughter, Debra, marriage to David Canavan, Girardville, PA; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Geraldine (Delasser) Minor, Wilmington, DE. He was preceded in death by a sister, Jackie Guzman.
A viewing will be held on Thursday evening, August 26, 2004, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM from our parlors with the service celebrating Henry's life beginning at 8:00 PM.
Graveside services will be held from Gracelawn Memorial Park, Du Pont Parkway, New Castle, Delaware, on Friday morning, August 27, 2004, at 11:00 AM.

Anson S. Epting, 85, of 1668 North Reading Road, Stevens, Lancaster County, died Friday evening in Ephrata Manor following a short illness. Born in Upper Tulpehocken Township, Berks County, he was a son of the late Wallace M. and Sallie M. (Moyer) Epting, and was the husband of Mildred S. (Martin) Epting for 56 years. A member of Muddy Creek Evangelical Lutheran Church, Swartzville, he was a 1938 Graduate of Schaefferstown High School and a graduate of Temple University Electronics School, Allentown . He and his wife owned and operated the former Epting’s Shopping Center, Reamstown, and he also repaired televisions and radios for many years. Anson was a staff sergeant in the Army during World War II. He was a member of Ephrata Lodge #665 Free & Accepted Masons, Rajah Shrine Club, American Legion of Ephrata, and the Ephrata, Adamstown and Reinholds VFWs. He enjoyed traveling, fishing and hunting. In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter, Dawn, wife of Rodney Kiscadden, Lebanon, PA ; 2 sons, Elvin, husband of Lynne (Bridgeman) Epting, Roanoke, VA ; and Terry, husband of Sandy (Murphy) Epting, Stevens, PA; 2 grandchildren, Scott Flickinger and Nichole Neuin; and 4 great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday evening, December 28, 2005, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM from our establishment with Masonic Services at 8:00 PM by Ephrata Lodge #665 Free & Accepted Masons.
Services will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2005, at 1:00 PM from our parlors, with his pastor, The Reverend Paul W. Smeltz, officiating. Burial will follow in Strausstown Union Cemetery, Berks County .

Douglas Lee Erney, 38, of Cloister Motor Court, 830 West Main Street, Ephrata, Lancaster County, was found dead in his room Wednesday, January 1, 2003, at 8:57 AM. An autopsy was ordered by Lancaster County Deputy Coroner, William Ives, MD, and was performed on Thursday with results pending. Born in Allentown, Dauphin County, he was employed over the years by various companies including Reinhold Restorations, Reinholds, PA; Good's Disposal Service, Akron, PA; Harvey Achey Construction, Reamstown, PA; Durawood Products, Denver, PA; and others. He was raised of the Catholic faith. There are no known survivors.
