Angel Dakota Flick-Sweigart... Our brief blessing, Angel Dakota Flick-Sweigart, left our presence to be in God's Grace on Saturday, December 10, 2005. The hope, love and future of Kira Ann Flick and Travis Lee Sweigart, both of Ephrata, is also survived by maternal grandparents, Kathy A. (Shannon) and Jeffrey L. Flick, Ephrata; paternal grandparents, Rita L. (Burkholder) and Mervin S. Sweigart, Ephrata; maternal great-grandmothers, Catherine S. (Shultz) Flick, Lititz; and Celeste (McGough) Shannon, St. Petersburg, FL; paternal great-grandfather, John Burkholder, Ephrata; maternal uncles, Michael and Brian Flick, Ephrata; and paternal aunts, Michelle, wife of Aaron Hoover, Bowmansville; and Kimberly Stoltzfus, Terre Hill.
A private Christian Burial service will be held by the family from Conestoga Memorial Park, Lancaster.

James P. Foltz
April 15, 1935 - February 22, 2006
1953 Graduate of Wilson High School
James P. Foltz, 70, of 549 Chapel Lane, Denver (Brecknock Twp.), Lancaster County, died Wednesday, February 22, 2006, at 6:07 PM in Penn State Hershey Medical Center, Derry Township, Dauphin County, where he was a patient since Friday. Born April 15, 1935, in Lancaster, he was a son of the late James and Annie (Zerbe) Foltz, and was the husband of Ruth L. (Fry) Foltz for 48 years. Foltz retired as a sales representative with Pitt Auto, Pittsburgh, and had previously been a station manager on the turnpike at Valley Forge with Gulf Oil Corporation for 20 years. He was a 1953 graduate of Wilson High School and was an Army veteran. James attended Christian Fellowship Church, New Holland, and was an avid hunter, trap shooter and outdoorsman. Also surviving is a son, James Michael, husband of Carla E. (Benham) Foltz, San Angelo, Texas ; a daughter, Susan Ruth (Foltz), wife of Martin L. Fickes, Denver, PA ; 4 grandchildren and a great-grandson.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2006, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM from Good Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Inc., Reamstown, and on Monday from 9:00 to 10:00 at the church.
Services in celebration of Jim's life will be held on Monday, February 27, 2006, at 10:00 AM from Christian Fellowship Church, 758 Spruce Road, New Holland, PA 17557, with The Rev. Aaron W. Webb and Rev. Dr. William Finnigan officiating.
Burial will follow in Terre Hill Cemetery .

Marian (Youndt) Firestone
January 1, 1924 - December 28, 2003
Marian Y. Firestone, 79, of 1998 Bowmansville Road, Adamstown, Lancaster County, died Sunday afternoon at 3:30 PM in Reading Hospital & Medical Center, West Reading, where she was a patient since December 24th. Born in Adamstown, she was a daughter of the late Lemon E. and Mabel L. (Mosser) Youndt, and was the wife of Kay O. Firestone for 48 years on January 1, 2003. She was a member of Peace United Church of Christ, Swartzville, where she was a former choir member. A 1942 graduate of the former Shillington High School, she also graduated from the former McCann’s School of Business, Reading, and completed Airline Stewardess School in Minneapolis. Her employment included the former American Safety Table Company, Mohnton; former Woolworth’s Mid-Atlantic Distribution Center, Denver, PA; former John Wanamaker’s of Berkshire Mall, Wyomissing, PA; Akron Restaurant Gift Shop, Akron, PA; and Donecker’s, Ephrata, PA. Mrs. Firestone was also a partner in her husband’s former butcher business working at the Leesport, Womelsdorf and Bethel Farmer’s Markets for 15 years until 1972. She enjoyed traveling and shopping. Surviving in addition to her husband, is a daughter, Kathy Louise Firestone, Adamstown; a son, Michael K., marriage to Kimberly (Grube) Firestone, Denver, PA; and a grandson, Chanse. She was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth M. Youndt and her twin sister, Mildred Fry.
A viewing will be held from our funeral home on Thurday evening, January 1, 2004, from 7:00 to 8:00 PM. The ceremony celebrating Marian's life will be held at our parlor on Friday morning, January 2, 2004, at 10:00 AM with her pastor, The Reverend William E. Hoch, officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Adamstown, Lancaster County, PA.

Wayne Richard Firestone
April 5, 1944 - November 22, 2004
Wayne Richard Firestone, 60, of 855 North Park Road, Wyomissing, Berks County, PA, died unexpectedly in his residence Monday morning, November 22, 2004. Born in West Reading, Berks County, he was a son of the late William G. and Mary L. (Himmelberger) Firestone, and was the husband of Janice (Shuey) Miller- Firestone. His first wife, Elinor P. (White) Firestone, died May 29, 1997. He was employed for 34 years by Exide Corporation, Reading, PA. Wayne was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. Firestone was the treasurer of Local 5227 United Steel Workers, Reading. He was also an active bowler with the Tuesday night leagues at the Berks Lanes, Sinking Spring. Surviving in addition to his wife is a sister, Leona M. Raysor, Reamstown, PA, a brother, William E. Firestone, Trenton, NJ, and several nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held from our parlors on Saturday, November 27, 2004, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. The services celebrating Wayne's life will begin at 1:00 PM with The Rev. John C. Richter officiating.
Graveside services will follow with The Rev. Ronald Van Blargan officiating in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra, Lebanon County, PA.

Phoebe J. Frankhouser
Dec. 27, 1927 - July 31, 2001
Loving Wife, Mother & Grandmother
Phoebe J. Frankhouser, 73, of 60 Katie Drive, Ronks, Lancaster County, died Tuesday evening at 10:08 PM in her residence under the care of Hospice of Lancaster County. Born in Swartzville, Lancaster County, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Annie (Roether) Kilhefner, and was the wife of Robert L. Frankhouser for 53 years on April 6th. Retiring in 1993, she was employed for over 30 years by M & M Garment, Bart. Earlier she was employed by the former Walter W. Moyer, Inc., Ephrata. Mrs. Frankhouser was devoted to her family and enjoyed cooking and housework. She was a 1944 graduate of Ephrata High School. Surviving in addition to her husband are 2 sons, Jerry L. Frankhouser, Lancaster; and Gary G., marriage to Shirley Frankhouser, Winter Springs, Florida; 2 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Allegra, marriage to Harry Steffy, Albuquerque, New Mexico; and Betty, marriage to Leon Zimmerman, Limerick, PA; and 4 brothers, John, marriage to Hannah Kilhefner, Amesville, Virginia; Fred Kilhefner, Coral Springs, Florida; Harry, marriage to Edith (Gehman) Kilhefner, Lititz, PA; and Ray Kilhefner, Ephrata, PA. Two brothers, William and H. Leo Kilhefner, preceded her in death.
Will be held on Monday, August 6, 2001, at 11:00 AM from our parlors with The Reverend Jeffrey Lott officiating. It was Phoebe's request that the casket be closed. She will be buried in Memory Gardens Memorial Park, East Cocalico Township.

Henry S. Frankhouser
Dec. 24, 1916 - Aug. 17, 2001
Henry S. Frankhouser, 84, formerly of Muddy Creek Road, Denver, Lancaster County, died Friday at 12:55 PM in the Denver Nursing Home, Stevens, where he resided since August 21, 2000. Born in Brecknock Township, Lancaster County, he was a son of the late Arthur and Susie (Becker) Frankhouser. His wife, Alma M. (Lausch) Frankhouser, died August 15, 1998. He was a member of Muddy Creek Evangelical Lutheran Church, Swartzville, where he was a former council member and zone leader. Henry was employed for over 25 years by Bollman Hat Company, Adamstown, retiring in 1982. He had also worked for many years on the family farm. Surviving is a son, H. Gene, marriage to Sharon (Gruber) Frankhouser, Denver, PA; 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. A son, Floyd R. Frankhouser, and a brother, Clayton A. Frankhouser, preceded him in death.
The funeral ceremony for Henry will be on Tuesday, August 21, 2001, at 10:00 AM from his church, Muddy Creek Lutheran Church, 11 S. Muddy Creek Rd., Denver (Swartzville). The casket will be open prior to the service for viewing.
A viewing will be held from our parlor on Monday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.

Allan R. Frederick
April 8, 1984 - November 17, 2003
Allan R. Frederick, 19, of 885 Hilltop Road, Stevens, Clay Township, Lancaster County, died in a truck accident on Interstate Route 81 in Ryan Township, Schuylkill County, Monday morning. An autopsy was performed at Pottsville Hospital on Tuesday afternoon with results pending. Born in Ephrata, Lancaster County, he was a son of Franklin K. Frederick, with whom he resided and Kathleen L. (Steinmetz) Lutz, Ephrata. He was employed as a roofer with Gooding, Simpson & Mackes, Inc., Ephrata. He was driving their dump truck to a work site at the time of the accident. Allan was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of the Cushion Peak Rod & Gun Club, Vinemont, Berks County, and the Durlach & Mt. Airy Fire Company, Stevens, Lancaster County. Surviving in addition to his parents are a step-mother, Rose (Geist) Kramer, at home; paternal grandmother, Betty J. (Epright) Frederick, Stevens, PA; a maternal grandfather, Donald E. Steinmetz, Lititz, PA; a sister, Angel Ann Frederick, at home; and 4 brothers, Franklin A., and Kenneth F., both of Ephrata, PA; and Bradley R. S., and Kevin S., both at home.
The family will receive friends on Saturday morning, November 22, 2003, 9:00 to 11:00 AM from our funeral home.
The ceremony celebrating Allan's life will begin at 11:00 AM with The Reverend Glenn R. Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Millbach Cemetery, Millcreek Township, Lebanon County, PA.
