Ruth L. “Pinky” Oberholtzer, 71, of 112 Monroe Street, Denver, Lancaster County, died Thursday, May 25, 2006, at 2:15 PM in her residence under the care of Hospice of Lancaster County. Born August 10, 1934, in Greenville, West Cocalico Township, PA, she was a daughter of the late Raymond A. Burkenheiser and the late Eva Mae (Burd) Burkenheiser Kepple. Ruth retired from F&M Hat Factory, Denver, and last worked for Redner’s Warehouse Market, Ephrata. Surviving are 2 daughters, Ruby L. Sanchez, and Rita L., wife of John Rouss, both of Denver, PA; 2 sons, Raymond L. Oberholtzer, Lancaster, PA, and William J., Jr., husband of Kathy (Kolling) Oberholtzer, Tampa, Florida; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters, Mary E., wife of John Zerbe, and Luciene, wife of Arthur Zerbe, both of Denver, PA. She was predeceased by 2 sisters, Elsie Fasnacht and Dolly Frankford.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 28, 2006, at 7:30 PM from Good Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Inc. of Reamstown. A viewing will be held from 6:00 to 7:30 PM.

Daniel E. Novotny
February 8, 1928 - December 25, 2004
Daniel E. Novotny, 76, of 667 Reinholds Road, Denver, East Cocalico Township, Lancaster County, PA, died Saturday, December 25, 2004, at 6:25 AM in the Ephrata Community Hospital, Ephrata, PA. He was the husband of Marilyn E. (Buttler) Novotny. A son of the late Charles and Emily (Vohlidka) Novotny, he was employed for many years as a welder with the Long Island Railroad. He was also an Army veteran of World War II.
All details will be handled privately by the family.
Amy E. Peters

Amy E. Peters, 91, formerly of Ephrata, Lancaster County, and Potter County, died Thursday morning at 3:15 AM in Maple Farms Nursing Center, Akron, Lancaster County. Born September 6, 1913, in Ephrata, a daughter of the late William and Emma (Heck) Foltz, she was the widow of Frank D. Peters, who died November 10, 1993. A member of Carpenter Community Church, Talmage, Lancaster County, she enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and her rose gardens. She was known to love the color red. Amy worked for many years at the former Walter W. Moyer, Inc., Ephrata, and last for Cinderella Knitting Mills, Denver, Lancaster County. She is survived by a daughter, Judith V. (Peters), wife of Ray R. Redcay, Denver, PA ; 2 sons, Carman E., husband of Rose (Wise) Peters, Ephrata, PA ; and Myron B., husband of Roxanne Peters, Morganville, Kansas; 12 grandchildren, 13 greatgrandchildren; 2 sisters, Pearl (Foltz) Gertler, Elizabethtown, PA; and Elaine (Foltz) Getz, Ephrata, PA; and a brother, Richard Heck, Mifflin, PA. She was predeceased by daughters, Phyllis and Patsy; sister, Betty Lehman; and brothers, Roland and Levi Foltz.
There will no viewing. Memorial services celebrating Amy's life will be held on Monday at 7:00 PM from Carpenter Community Church, 378 Glenbrook Road, Talmage, PA 17580, with Pastor Wilbert Lind officiating. Private Inurnment in Mohler’s Cemetery, Ephrata Township, PA.

Edith L. Pierce
July 25, 1908 - February 4, 2003
Edith L. Pierce, 94, formerly of Reinholds, Lancaster County, died Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 PM in the Denver Nursing Home, Stevens, Lancaster County, where she resided for the past year. Born in Adamstown, Lancaster County, she was a daughter of the late Samuel M. and Ida E. (Lorah) Gehman and was the widow of Arthur W. Pierce. She was a member of Hillside Church of Christ, Sinking Spring, Berks County. Surviving is a grandson, Arthur A., Terre Hill, Lancaster County; 3 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Earl Gehman, Columbia, Lancaster County. A son, Arthur H. Pierce, Jr., preceded her in death.
Edith's viewing will be held on Friday, February 7, 2003, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM from our parlors. The ceremony will begin at 2:00 PM with her pastor, The Reverend W. Sheldon Lee, officiating.
Following the funeral service, burial will take place in Swamp Cemetery, Reinholds, Lancaster County, PA.
Alzada V. Pool
November 30, 1916 - August 18, 2004
Alzada V. Pool, 87, formerly of Clinton, Ohio, and Reinholds, Lancaster County, died Wednesday afternoon at 5:05 PM in Conestoga View, Lancaster, where she resided for the past 10 years. Born in Johnstown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Francis P. and Alice A. (Smeal) Dawson. Her husband, Daniel Carson Pool, died in 1976. Alzada attended the Reamstown Church of God. She was employed for many years by Pressler-Snyder Dry Cleaning, Akron, Ohio. She enjoyed baking and cake decorating. Surviving is a niece, Betsy R., marriage to Daniel M. Gehman, Reinholds, with whom she last resided and several other nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held on Saturday afternoon, August 21, 2004, from 1:30 to 2:00 PM from our parlors. The service celebrating Alzada's life will begin at 2:00 PM with The Reverend Joel R. Hainley officiating. Private inurnment will take place in Green Lawn Cemetery, Akron, Ohio.

Margaret B. died Wednesday, January 1, 2003, at 11:35 AM in the Ephrata Manor, Ephrata, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Born in Chester, PA, she was a daughter of the late Frank V. and Marguerite B. (Mushler) Bibby. Her husband, Richard A. Price, died in 1980. She was of the protestant faith. Peg was a 1937 graduate of Temple University School of Nursing, Philadelphia, and completed her graduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania in 1957. She was a member of the alumni association of both institutions. She was a registered nurse serving private duty and a psychiatric social worker with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Welfare for many years. Mrs. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Adams & Ramona Avenues, Philadelphia, where a graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 PM.

Michael F. Pajski
June 23, 1958 - May 4, 2003
Michael F. Pajski, 44, of 1200 Texter Mountain Road, Robesonia (West Cocalico Township, Lancaster County), was dead on arrival Sunday evening at 10:12 PM in the emergency room of Ephrata Community Hospital where he was transported by the Reinholds ambulance. His death was unexpected. Results from an autopsy performed Monday morning at Conestoga View, Lancaster, are pending toxicology tests. Born in Lebanon, PA, he was a son of Anastasia T. (Kudela) Pajski, Robesonia, and Frank P. Pajski, Womelsdorf. He and his wife, Lisa J. (Wanner) Pajski, celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary on August 16, 2002. He was employed for the past 6 years as maintenance supervisor at Denver Nursing Home, Stevens, Lancaster County. Pajski was a 1976 graduate of Eastern Lebanon County High School. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a member of Cushion Peak Rod & Gun Club, Vinemont, PA. Surviving in addition to his wife and parents, are two children, Amanda R. Pajski, Mohnton, PA; and Justin M. Pajski, at home; a granddaughter; 2 sisters, Babara M. (Pajski), marriage to Charles Rushman, Lebanon, PA; and Jennifer L. (Pajski), marriage to Keith Seitzer, Quakertown, PA; and 2 brothers, Paul F., marriage to Jane (Hudson) Pajski; and Thomas F. Pajski, both of Robesonia, PA. A brother, Stephan, preceded him in death.
Mike's viewing will be held from our funeral parlor on Thursday morning, May 8, 2003, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
The funeral ceremony will begin at 11:00 AM with The Reverend Lee A. Diefenderfer officiating. Following cremation there will be a graveside inurnment service on Saturday, May 17, 2003, at 11:00 AM in Holy Cross Cemetery, Lebanon, PA.
