Jesse James Terreson, age 2, of 3459 New Holland Road, Mohnton, Cumru Township, Berks County, died unexpectedly in Reading Hospital & Medical Center, West Reading, Thursday evening of natural causes. He was born in West Reading, September 15, 2002, a son of Holly DeLaFeunte and Robert H. Terreson, with whom he resided. Jesse was known to his family as "Daredevil" as he loved anything on wheels, especially motorcycles. He was into bugs and loved books. Surviving in addition to his parents are maternal grandmother, Susan (Hagy) Sweigart and step-grandfather, Frank Sweigart, of Denver, PA; maternal grandfather, Gustavo DeLaFuente, Bonsequre, Alabama; and step-grandmother, Margaret Flemming Jr., Bonsequre, Alabama; maternal great-grandmother, Betty (Stohler) Hagy, Akron, PA; and great-grandmother, Jessica Martinex, Harlingen, Texas; Paternal grandmother, Patricia (Kepley) Terreson, Sinking Spring, PA; and grandfather, Bruce H. Terreson and step-grandmother, Pattie (Conboy) Terreson, Robesonia, PA.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2005, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM from our parlors..
Services will be held on Thursday morning, May 12, 2005, at 10:00 AM from our funeral home with The Reverend Stephen E. Hollinger officiating. Burial will follow in Mohler's Cemetery, Ephrata Township, Lancaster County, PA.

Julia Texter...Time to Remember
Julia Texter, age 95, formerly of Vinemont, Berks County, died Thursday afternoon at 5:05 PM in Berks Heim, Bern Township, Berks County, where she resided for the past 5 years. Born in Nesquehoning, PA, she was a daughter of the late John and Annie Milander. Her husband, Harvey K. Texter, died April 27, 1991. She was a member of Vinemont Community Lutheran Church, Berks County, where she was a former Sunday School Teacher and Pianist. Mrs. Texter was a grammar school teacher many years ago at the former Merkel’s School, Spring Township, Berks County. She was a graduate of West Chester State Normal School, now West Chester University. Surviving is a son, Richard D., marriage to Joan C. (Zimmerman) Texter, Sinking Spring, PA; 2 daughters, Jean E., marriage to Richard S. Bair, Reinholds, PA; and Elsie A., marriage to Donald L. Enck, Valparaiso, IN; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Julia's funeral ceremony will be held Tuesday, September 11, 2001, at 2:00 PM with The Reverend Lawrence R. Tropp officiating in our parlor. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service with interment following in Swamp Cemetery, Reinholds, PA.

Betty J. Texter, 79, of Lancaster Avenue, Post Office Box 414, Adamstown, Lancaster County, PA 19501, died Friday at 10:50 AM in ManorCare of Sinking Spring, Spring Township, Berks County, where she resided since December 31, 2001. Born in Adamstown, she was a daughter of the late Solomon R. and Carrie M. (Stork) Lesher, and was the wife of Lawrence W. Texter for 53 years on February 12, 2002. She was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Adamstown. Mrs. Texter was last employed by the Bollman Hat Factory, Adamstown, and had previously worked at the former Narrow Fabrics and Cinderella Knitting Mill, Denver, PA. Surviving in addition to her husband is a daughter, Carol A. (Texter), marriage to Edward D. Stoudt, Adamstown, PA; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandsons; and a brother, Charles S., marriage to Caroline (Treisch) Lesher, Denver, PA. She was preceded in death by a brother, John E. Lesher, in 1998, and a sister, Mary Rebecca Keller, in 2001.
Betty's viewing and funeral will be held privately by her family. She will be buried in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Adamstown, Lancaster County, PA.

Shirley A. Thompson

Shirley A. Thompson, 71, of 18 Black Horse Road, Adamstown, died Sunday, Nov. 21 at 11:40 AM in the home of her son following an illness. Born March 24, 1933, in Altoona, Blair County, a daughter of the late Alfred E. Hupert & Viola E. (Lantz) Hupert Healy and step-daughter of the late Louis P. Healey. Her husband, Gordon J. “Joe” Thompson, died April 2, 1998. A Member of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Ephrata, Lancaster County, she was a graduate of Altoona High School. Employed by Bollman Hat Company, Adamstown, 43 years she also enjoyed playing cards. Shirley is survived by a daughter, Cindy A.Thompson, Ephrata; a son, Gordon L. “Butch”, husband of Donna (Kauffman) Thompson, Reinholds; 2 grandchildren; and a sister, Patricia L., wife of S. Paul Boggs, Sinking Spring. Also preceded in death by a grandson, Scot Alan Thompson, and a sister, Joan Brantner.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday evening, November 23, 2004, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM in our parlors and also on Wednesday, November 24, 2004, from 10:00 to 10:30 AM at the church.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 24, 2004, at 10:30 AM from Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 320 Church Avenue, Ephrata, PA 17522.
Final commendation & farewell will follow in Memory Gardens Memorial Park, East Cocalico Township, Lancaster County, PA.
Fred F. Uibel
June 11, 1928 - May 10, 2005
Fred F. Uibel, age 76, of 711 Maplewood Avenue, Lancaster, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2005, at 6:15 PM at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Richard & Kathleen Uibel, 11 Irvin Drive, Lititz, after battling emphysema for many years. He was under the care of Hospice of Lancaster County. Born June 11, 1928, in Ephrata, Lancaster County, he was a son of the late Paul and Ella Mae (Fry) Uibel. His wife, Marie M. (Boivin) Uibel, died December 11, 1994. He was a member of Mellinger’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Schoeneck. Uibel was a 1946 graduate of Ephrata High School and had served 22 years with the United States Navy, entering during World War II. He retired from Hartford Insurance Company after 22 years having served as a boiler and machinery inspector. Fred enjoyed bowling, fishing, all sports and traveling. Surviving is a daughter, Donna M., wife of Clyde Trapp, Waterloo, SC; 6 sons, Robert Uibel, Frederick, MD; John W., husband of Nicci Uibel, Frankford, DE; Charles E. Uibel, Lancaster, PA; Richard M., husband of Kathleen Uibel, Lititz; Fred D., husband of Lynn Uibel, Goose Creek, SC; and Paul H. Uibel, Manheim, PA; 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Annamaria, wife of Edward Leed, Stevens, PA; A sister, Pauline Moyer, preceded him in death.
Services will be held on Friday, May 13, 2005 at 4:00 PM from Mellinger’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Schoeneck, with The Rev. Timothy L. Craven officiating. A viewing will be held at the church from 2 to 4 PM.
Burial in Lincoln Cemetery, Ephrata, with a military tribute provided by Red Rose Veterans Honor Guard of Lancaster County.

Patricia Ann Ulrich, 73, of 44 Walnut Street, Adamstown, Lancaster County, died Monday morning at 1:00 AM in Phoebe Berks Health Center, Wernersville, Berks County, where she was a guest since January 2004. Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Elmer N. and Anna (Stoops) Strauss. Her husband, E. Richard Ulrich, died November 3, 1985. She was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Adamstown. Pat was a graduate of Wildwood High School, Wildwood, NJ, and Harcum Jr. College, Bryn Mawr, PA. She was active in the Lancaster County Republican Party having been the recipient of The Republican of the Year award several years ago. She also served as a former Adamstown Borough Secretary. Surviving is a daughter, Nancy J. Ulrich, Adamstown, PA; and a brother, Elmer N., Jr., marriage to Fran Strauss, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
Funeral services for Pat will be held on Thursday, April 22, 2004, at 7:30 PM from her church, St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 80 East Main Street, Adamstown, PA 19501-0385. The closed casket will be present. There will be no viewing.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 23, 2004, at 11:00 AM from Cedar Grove Cemetery, Broad Street, Adamstown, PA.

April 22, 1915 - March 15, 2005
Grace M. Wade, 89, formerly of Ephrata and Stevens, Lancaster County, died Tuesday morning in Colonial Lodge, Denver, Lancaster County, where she resided for the past year. Born in Brecknock Township, Lancaster County, she was a daughter of the late Oswin A. and Katie (Wolfskill) Beam. Her husband, Truman D. Wade, died November 26, 1985. She was a member of Stevens United Zion Church. Grace had been employed by Terre Hill Manufacturing, was a private nursing assistant for various elderly persons in earlier years and had worked at the former Beam’s General Store, Fivepointville, for many years. She was predeceased by 8 brothers and sisters and is survived by nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Friday, March 18, 2005, from Good Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Inc. of Reamstown, with services beginning at 2:00 PM, The Rev. LaMar L. Zimmerman officiating. Burial will follow in Steinmetz Cemetery, West Cocalico Township, Lancaster County, PA.
