Leo Cizeski, 85, of Holmdel, N.J., died Jan. 21 in Bayshore Hospital, Holmdel.
Born in Edwardsville, he was the son of Xavier and Molly Cizeski.
He was formerly employed by the Duplan Silk Mill and various factories in New Jersey.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Mary Pitcavage; sister, Stella Roberts.
Surviving are children, Leo, Connecticut; Geraldine Brooks, Rutherford, N.J.; Elain Boyle, Holmdel; Richard, Morristown, N.J.; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Helen Dukas, Shavertown; Nellie Necikowski, Edwardsville.
Funeral services were held from the Phlegal Funeral Home, Middletown, N.J.
Interment was in Toms River, N.J.
Dembowski, Mary Ann

Mary Ann (Hettrich) Evanoski Dembowski, 54, of Wilkes-Barre, died Tuesday at home.Born Dec. 7, 1946, in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Martin F. and Ann Tierney Hettrich Klein. She was a 1964 graduate of St. Mary's High School, and Empire Beauty School. She also attended King's College, Wilkes-Barre. She was a legal secretary to Attorney John D. Sieminski, Forty Fort. She was a member of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary 1106, Stroudsburg, and was treasurer to Wyoming Valley Women's Bowling Association.
Drouse, Edward

Edward Drouse, 81, of Plane Street, Avoca, died Tuesday at Community Medical Center, Scranton.
Born Sept. 27, 1919, in Avoca, he was a son of the late Joseph and Nellie (Wiss) Drouse.
He attended Avoca schools and was a veteran of World War II.
He was owner of Drouse Vending, Avoca, and worked for Hugo Amusements.
He was a highly active member of SS. Peter & Paul Church, Avoca, and a Master Mason at the Union Lodge-Masonic Temple, Scranton.
He was preceded in death by his brother, John; and sister, Stella Volch.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years, the former Ruth A. Adamitis; son, Edward J. Jr., Scranton; daughters, Lynn Hahn, Moscow; Ruth E. Sickler, Scranton; and Patricia Bobola, Clarks Summit; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Lillian Molinski, Avoca; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Friday from the Kniffen-O'Malley Funeral Home Inc., 728 Main St., Avoca, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in SS. Peter & Paul Church, with the Rev. Mark Bochinski officiating.
Interment will be in Good Shepherd Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. There will be a Christian wake service at 2:15 p.m.
Dumble, Arthur

Arthur Earl Dumble, of McLean Street, Wilkes-Barre, died Monday at Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-Barre.
Born Oct. 15, 1932, in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of the late Thomas and Ermma (Stevens) Dumble.
He was a 1952 graduate of Meyers High School, Wilkes-Barre.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran.
He was an electrician at the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station, Salem Township.
He was a member of the Welsh Bethel Baptist Church, Wilkes-Barre, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 163, Wilkes-Barre, and the Meyers Quarterback Club, and was treasurer of his high school reunion committee.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Mary Wagner.
Surviving are his daughters, Mary Williams, Cardiff, N.J.; and Luann Stempien, White Haven; son, Jeffrey, Wilkes-Barre; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; sisters, Lureatha Slabinski, Lower Macungie; and several nephews.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday from the Mamary-Durkin Funeral Service, 59 Parrish St., Wilkes-Barre.
Interment will be in Fern Knoll Burial Park, Dallas.

Giordano, Charles

Charles Giordano, 79, of West Wyoming, died Monday at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre.
Born Dec. 25, 1921, in Sicily, he was a son of the late Cataldo and Marianina Giordano.
He attended Pittston schools.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving with Company D, 16th Infantry, First Division, in the D-Day invasion of North Africa, Sicily and Omaha Beach, Normandy, and in the Battle of the Bulge. He was awarded the European African Middle Eastern Campaign Ribbon with seven Battle Stars, the Bronze Star medal, the Purple Heart medal, the Good Conduct Medal with Clasp, and several other military honors. He also served in the Civilian Conservation Corps.
He worked for Emkay Manufacturing Co., West Wyoming, and as a sewing machine mechanic for Rhonda's Sportswear, Old Forge.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 904, West Wyoming.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary.
Surviving are his son, Ky, Exeter; daughters, Marian Savoy, Inkerman; and Carmelita Giordano, Exeter; sisters, Mary Gambini, Plains Township; and Connie Ferrara, Theresa Scarpati and Millie Salamone, all of Trenton, N.J.; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Friday from the Recupero Funeral Home, 406 Susquehanna Ave., West Pittston. AmVets Post 189 Honor Guard will perform military services.
Interment will be in Memorial Shrine Cemetery, Carverton. A blessing service will be held in the chapel, with the Rev. Michael Piccola officiating.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. American Legion Post 904 will conduct services in the evening.
Harkins, Marietta

Marietta Harkins, 59, of Main Street, Avoca, formerly of Wilkes-Barre and Hanover Township, died Tuesday at Greenville Memorial Hospital, Greenville, S.C.
Born May 3, 1941, in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa (Seabers) Harkins.
She was a graduate of Coughlin High School.
She worked for Quality Cleaning.
She attended Holy Saviour Church, Wilkes-Barre.
Surviving are her son, Martin Eslick, Mauldon, S.C.; daughters, Debra Sabbatini, Bear Creek; and Theresa Smicherko, Avoca; five grandchildren; sisters, Loretta Schiels, Bear Creek; Catherine Pascoe and Helene Kane, both of Wilkes-Barre; and Theresa Urban, Robinsville, N.J.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Kniffen-O'Malley Funeral Home Inc., 465 S. Main St., Wilkes-Barre.
Interment will be at the convenience of the family.

Doris (Searle) Juge, 83, of Dan Flood Tower, Kingston, died Saturday at Manor Care Health Services, Kingston.
Born Nov. 2, 1917, in San Diego, Calif., she was a daughter of the late William and Jessie Searle.
She was a member of the Church of Christ Uniting, Kingston.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Angus.
Surviving are her daughters, Doris Haynes, Hurst, Texas; and Camille Mason, Louisville, Colo.; son, Arnold, San Rafael, Calif.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, William Searle, Roxbury; sisters, Renee Augustine, Conshohocken; Betty Lou Hedges, Delaware; Setha Peden, Gilbertsville; and Ruth Wunder, Hereford; and nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services were from the Karl E. Blight Funeral Home, 392 Wyoming Ave., Kingston.
Korutz, Mary

Mary Korutz, 91, of Wilkes-Barre, died Monday at Valley Crest Nursing Home, Plains Township.
Born July 9, 1909, in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Luke and Anna (Pavelchak) Korutz.
She was educated in Wilkes-Barre public schools.
She was a presser in the local garment industry.
She was a member of Holy Resurrection Russian Orthodox Cathedral, Wilkes-Barre, the ILGWU and the Russian Orthodox Mutual Aid Society.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Julia Korutz; and brother, Joseph Korutz.
Surviving are her sister, Elizabeth Korutz, Wilkes-Barre; and one niece.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday from the Simon S. Russin Funeral Home, Inc., 136 Maffet St., Plains Township, with Requiem services at 11:30 a.m. in Holy Resurrection Russian Orthodox Cathedral, Wilkes-Barre, with Archpriest Joseph Martin officiating.
Interment will be in Holy Resurrection Russian Orthodox Cemetery, Plains Township.

Lewis, Brig. Gen. David

Brig. Gen. David C. Lewis, 95, of Fairfax, Va., died Jan. 28 in Virginia.
He was born in Sugar Notch, and was a 1929 graduate of West Chester University. He earned a master's degree in education from Temple University.
His military career included service in World War II and the Korean conflict. He completed tours of duty in Puerto Rico, Turkey, Germany and the Pentagon.
He worked for General Electric Co.
Surviving are his wife of 61 years, the former Marie Tapper; sons, David, Vienna, Va.; and Stephen, Seattle, Wash.; daughters, Marianne Cole, Tampa, Fla.; and Deborah Dempsey, Marshall, Va.; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday in Virginia.
Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Red Cross, National Capitol Chapter.

Clem R. Orbon Jr., 63, of Wanamie, died Tuesday at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township.
Born Feb. 5, 1938, in Wanamie, he was a son of the late Ella (Arnold) and Clem R. Orbon Sr.
He was a 1956 graduate of Newport Township High School and attended Luzerne County Community College.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving aboard the U.S.S. O'Hare during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
He worked at the Tobyhanna Army Depot and owned and operated Orbon's Auto Electric Co. and the Third Base Food Mart, Sugar Notch.
He was a member of St. Mary's Church, Wanamie; a life member and commander of the VFW Post 7918, Slocum; past president, board member and charter secretary of the Newport Township Lions Club; deputy district governor of Lions District 14-H; past president of the Twin Boro Lions Club, Sugar Notch and Warrior Run; past president, manager, coach and umpire for the Newport Township Little League; former fire chief of the Newport Township and Wanamie fire companies; past president of the Newport Township Recreation Board; and recipient of the first annual Citizen of the Year Award of the Newport Township Bullpen Athletic Club.
Surviving are his brother, Carl, Wilkes-Barre; sister, Betty Yakimowicz, Nanticoke; three nephews; one niece; one great-nephew and one great-niece.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday from the Stanley S. Stegura Funeral Home Inc., 614 S. Hanover St., Nanticoke, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Wanamie.
Interment will be in the parish Cemetery, Newport Township.

Rose Perlick, 87, of West Main Street, Plymouth, died Tuesday at Manorcare Health Services, Kingston.
Born in Plymouth, she was a daughter of the late George and Agnes (Zola) Perlick. She attended Plymouth schools. She was a member of St. Mary's, St. Stephen's Parish Community and a member of its Altar and Rosary Society. She also was a member of the Plymouth Republican Club. Prior to retirement, she was the owner and operator of a grocery store on West Main Street, Plymouth.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Catherine Yendrick; and brothers, Joseph, John, Ignatius, Walter, Stanley and Raymond.
The funeral will be at 8:30 a.m. Friday from the Piszczek Funeral Home, 70 E. Main St., Plymouth, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St. Mary's Nativity Church, Willow Street, Plymouth.
