John Jack Belcher, 76, of Elverson, and formerly of Plymouth, died Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Reading.
Born Oct. 4, 1923, in Plymouth, he was the son of the late Ruth-Ellen Hillard and John Belcher.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Edith Sobeck.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years, the former Grace DeLong; daughter, Ruth-Ellen Brewer, Pottstown; son, Jay Belcher, Phoenixville; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday from Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Main Street and 5th Avenue, Phoenixville, with a service at 10:30 a.m. in Elverson United Methodist Church, East Main Street, Elverson. Interment will be in Morris Cemetery, Phoenixville. Friends may call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. todaySun. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Zebulon United Methodist Church, Zebulon, N.C.

Helen L. Perrotto, 84, formerly of Second Avenue, Kingston, died Saturday at Dorrance Manor, Kingston.
Born June 23, 1916, in Indiana, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Pollock Lupco. She was a graduate of Empire Beauty School and formerly resided at Luzerne Towers, Bennett Street, Luzerne.
She was self-employed as a beautician for many years at Pomeroy's and the After Six Salon. She was a member of St. Ignatius Church, Kingston.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor; and brother, Michael Lupco.
Surviving are her son, Victor M. Perrotto, Trucksville; sisters, Ann Kusma, Venice, Fla.; Mary Stary, Pittsburgh; and three grandsons.
Private funeral services will be at the convenience of the family. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Ignatius Church. Interment will be in the parish Cemetery, Pringle. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Northeastern Pennsylvania. Arrangements are by Maher-Collins Funeral Home, 360 N. Maple Ave., Kingston.

William A. Rice Jr., 86, formerly of South Main Street, Ashley, died Saturday at the Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas.
Born Nov. 14, 1913, in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late William A. Sr. and Mary Ann Jasaipis Racinkus. He was a resident of the death by his wife of 52 years, the former Patronella "Pat" Rutchauskas; brothers, Peter and Stanley; and sister, Mary Hydock.
Surviving are sons, William P., Freeland; Joseph P., Shavertown; daughters, Patricia Meirs, Dallas; Mary Ann Riley, Nanticoke; and Stella Lanunziata, Wyoming; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. today from the George A. Strish Inc. Funeral Home, 105 N. Main St., Ashley, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Family Church, Sugar Notch. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery.

Mary Williams, a former resident of Tiffany Court Assisted Living Residence, Kingston, and Lee Park, Hanover Township, died Friday at the Hampton House, Hanover Township.
Born May 30, 1907, in Plymouth, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Rachel Rosser Blakeslee. She was a member of the Baptist Tabernacle, Wilkes-Barre.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John M. Williams; son, James M. Williams; and several brothers and sisters.
Surviving are her son, John Williams, Jacksonville, N.C.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday from the Frederick & Snowdon Funeral Home, 617 Carey Ave., Wilkes-Barre, with the Rev. William Frank, her pastor, officiating. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. today and from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Baptist Tabernacle.
Peeler, Joseph

Joseph J. Peeler, of Sycamore Drive, Swoyersville, died Saturday at the Hospice Community Care Inpatient Unit at Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-Barre. He was seriously ill since May.
Born in Swoyersville, he was the son of the late John and Helen (Martinski) Peeler. He resided in Swoyersville his entire life and attended Holy Trinity School and Swoyersville High School.
Before retiring in 1986, he was employed in the housekeeping department at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Plains Township, for seven years. He was formerly employed as a sewing machine operator for Nelson Manufacturing Co., Wyoming, for 28 years.
He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, having attained the rank of sergeant. He was a member of Holy Name-St. Mary's Church, Swoyersville.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Robert and William Peeler; and sister, Mary Peeler.
Surviving are his wife of 48 years, the former Lucille Schultz; son, David Peeler, Pottstown; daughter, Deborah M. Behay, Marcy, N.Y.; brother, Edward Peeler, Rutherford, N.J.; sisters, Helen Aritz, Jenkins Township; Anne Karlotski, Shavertown; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday from the Joseph L. Wroblewski Funeral Home, 1442 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Name-St. Mary's Church, Shoemaker Street, Swoyersville, with the Rev.
