Isabelle Keris, 79, of 85th Street, Ocala, Fla., formerly of Dallas, died Sunday at home.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Tekla and Justin Urban. She was a retired restaurant/bar owner.
Surviving are her daughters, Carolyn Keris and Diane Keris-Jones, both of Ocala; son, John, Sanford, Fla.; one grandchild; sister, Viola Sincavage, Plymouth; and brother, Charles, Mount Holly, N.J.
Private funeral services were held in Florida. Arrangements were by the Hiers Funeral Home, Ocala.

Monica Lee Scott, of Perkins Street, Plains Township, died Thursday at the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township.
Born in Irvington, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Cormac and Kathryn (Murphy) Scott. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School and Marywood College. She worked at the Department of Veteran Affairs, Board of Appeals, Wilkes-Barre. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Plains Township.
She was preceded in death by her brother, James.
Surviving are her sisters, Mary Kathryn Herrmannn, Gillette, N.J.; Peggy Ann Burghardt, Flemington N.J.; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Saturday from the Yeosock Funeral Home, 40 S. Main St., Plains Township, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church.

Nancy Gail Wrubel, 65, of Exeter, died Friday at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
Born in Pittston, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Hannah (Smiles) Weathers. She was a graduate of Exeter High School. She worked for the Consolidated Cigar Co., West Pittston, and for Dr. Charles Gelb, Pittston. She was a member of Grace Bible Church, West Pittston, and attended its Sunday school.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Andrew; and sisters, Thelma Simmons and Lillian Weathers.
Surviving are her daughters, Gail Ann, Pittston; and Tracy Lynn Singletary, Laurel Hill, N.C.; son, Andrew T., Exeter; three grandchildren; sister, Mary Lou, Exeter; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday from the H. Merritt Hughes Funeral Home, Inc., 211 Luzerne Ave., West Pittston, with Pastor David Culley officiating. Interment will be in Pittston Cemetery. Jennie Williams, of Moyallen Street, Wilkes-Barre, died Friday at Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-Barre.
Born Feb. 9, 1922, in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Pease) Roberts. She was a graduate of Meyers High School, Wilkes-Barre. She was a seamstress. She was a member of Welsh Bethel Baptist Church, Wilkes-Barre, was recently honored for her 55 years as a Sunday school teacher, and was a member of the church choir.
Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Fred; daughter, Betty Walter, Wilkes-Barre; two grandsons and one great-granddaughter.
The funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday from the Leo P. Lehman Funeral Home, 689 Hazle St., Wilkes-Barre, with services at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Don Hartshorne officiating. David J. Wilson, 87, of Briarcliff Circle, Morristown, Tenn., died Thursday at Heritage Center, Morristown. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Morristown, Mason and president of the Kiwanis Club and member of the board of directors of Senior Citizens.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Tom; and sisters, Margaret Wolfe and Gwen Kresge.
Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Constance K., Heritage Center; brother, Bill, Wilkes-Barre; sons, James J., Deerfield Beach, Fla.; and Kenneth F., St. Simons Island, Ga.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren~.
Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at First Presbyterian Church, 600 W. Main St., Morristown, with the Rev. Tom~ Dodge officiating. Friends may call from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at the church. Born in Sugar Notch, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Stella (Whitanis) Zolorowitz. She attended the Sugar Notch schools. She worked for United Rehabilitation Services, Wilkes-Barre, and was an assembler for Hy-Art Lamp Co., San Souci Highway. She attended Holy Family Church, Sugar Notch.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Peter Whitanis; and sisters, Helen Kairo and Ann Gentile.
Surviving are her husband, Charles; sons, Gerald Andrucyk, Philadelphia; Charles, Riverside, Calif.; and Ronald, Lee Park section of Hanover Township; daughters, Susan, Lee Park; Joann Kepp, Hanover Township; and Tracey Eckhart, Beaumont; 10 grandchildren, one great-granddaughter; brother, Henry Zolner, Larksville; sisters, Arlene Grobowski and Theresa Comitz, both of Sugar Notch; nieces and nephews.

Joseph S. Larish, 90, of Italy Street, Mocanaqua, died Thursday at home.
Born Jan. 30, 1910, in Rohrsburg, he was the son of the late Gail and Ada (Philips) Larish. He was a graduate of the former Bloomsburg Normal School. He was a baseball player and manager of the Little League and Girls' League baseball teams of Mocanaqua. He taught in the Fairmount Township schools. He worked at American Car and Foundry, Berwick, and Berwick Forge and Fabricating.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Norman.
Surviving are his wife of 60 years, the former Sophie Lupinski; sons, Joseph, Jr., Mocanaqua; and Richard, Berwick; daughters, Mary Ann Pawlush and Linda Milakovic, both of Mocanaqua; and Carol Killian, Shickshinny; 15 grandchildren and eight grandchildren.
Private funeral services will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Mayo Funeral Home, Inc., 77 N. Main St., Shickshinny.

Edward "Ted" Abplanalp, 78, a guest of the Northeastern Veterans Center, Penn Avenue, Scranton, and formerly of South Main Street, Old Forge, died Friday in Mercy Hospital, Scranton.
Born June 16, 1922, in Old Forge, he was the son of the late Harry and Rachel Ann Davis Abplanalp. He settled at the Veterans Center two weeks ago after residing at Abington Manor, Clarks Summit.
He was a graduate of Old Forge High School; Hiram College, Hiram, Ohio; University of Scranton and Penn State Extension. He also attended the Metrology Institute of Technology, Burbank, Calif. He was a member of the Penn State Alumni Association.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II, serving with the 5th Air Force-90th Bomb Group, 317 Squadron. He was a life member of the Air Force Association, Washington, D.C. He was a 1st aerospace metrology engineer for Lockheed-Martin, Burbank, retiring in 1989.
He was a member of Waverly Lodge 301 F.& A.M.; Irem Temple, Wilkes-Barre; 90th Bomb Group Association; A.A.S.R. Valley, Scranton; and Moosic Presbyterian Church, Moosic.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Irene and Marion Abplanalp, Rachel DeFazio; brothers, Harry, George and John Abplanalp.
Surviving are his daughter, Paula Ransom, Springville; sister, Dorothy Behnke, Wayne, N.J.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 9 p.m. Monday from the Thomas P. Kearney Funeral Home, 517 N. Main St., Old Forge, with the Rev. Dr. Susan J. Ezell, of the Moosic Presbyterian Church, officiating. Gilbert Boston, 81, of Noxen, died Friday at the Troy Community Hospital, Troy.
Born Aug. 9, 1919, in Centermoreland, he was the son of the late Fred and Mary Kittle Boston. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.
He was employed by the Armour Leather Co., Noxen, for 15 years; the Johnson, Drake and Piper Construction Co., New York, for one year; and he owned and operated the Noxen Texaco Station for eight years, retiring in 1974.
He was a member of the Rattlesnake Gun Club, Loyalville; the board of the Noxen Community Federal Credit Union; the Bowman's Creek Lions Club; and he attended the Noxen United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Cecil, Frank, Donald and Herbert; sisters, Margaret Lord and Inez Dennis; and granddaughter, Crystal Russell.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, the former Louise Prutzman; sons, Frederick and Roger Boston, both of Noxen; Earl Boston, Reading; daughters, Elgie Spurlin, Shavertown; Laura Russell, Noxen; sisters, Mildred Krum, Mount Zion; Ethel Wall, Noxen; Charlotte Meixsell, Edwardsville; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Destefano; brothers, Thomas, Arthur and Guido.
Surviving are her son, Leslie Destefano, Pittston; sisters, Catherine Delpriore, Naugeak, Conn.; Mary Rado, Oakville, Conn.; and two grandchildren.

Edmund A. Glova, 78, of Mountain View Drive, Nanticoke, died Friday at Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Glen Lyon, he was the son of the late Andrew and Emilia Besidecki. He was a graduate of Newport Township High School, class of 1941, and Casey Jones School of Aeronautics, New Jersey.
He was employed by Westover Field, Massachusetts, as an aircraft mechanic and later by Consolidated Cigar Co., Berwick, where he was employed as a mechanic for about 20 years, retiring at age 62.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in Central Europe. He was a member of St. Mary's Church and American Legion Post 350, both of Nanticoke.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Joseph and Stanley Glowacq and John Bradey.
Surviving are his wife, the former Frances Stachyra; daughter, Frances McLaren, Landenburg; sisters, Josephine Butka, Glen Lyon; Stasia Glova, Wapwallopen; nieces and nephews.
American Legion Post 350 will conduct military funeral services at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday from the Grontkowski Funeral Home P.C., 51-53 W. Roxanne A. Healey, 41, of Moosic, died Saturday at her home.
Born Jan. 15, 1959, in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Oran and Alice Wilson Hughes. She was educated in the Riverside High School, Taylor.
She resided in Moosic most of her life. She was formerly employed as a CNA nurses assistant at Allied Long Term Care Facility, Scranton, and also worked as a seamstress for B & C Sportswear.
She was a member of the 20th Ward Social Club, Scranton, and the Moosic Alliance Church, Moosic. She and her husband, James Healey, would have celebrated their second wedding anniversary on Feb. 13, 2001.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, Raymond VanLouvender, Dunmore; daughter, Tracey Flannery, Dunmore; brother, David Hughes, Hunlock Creek; sisters, Bernice Wudarski, Duryea; Jane Decker, Taylor; Doreen Kolveck, Moosic; three grandchildren; several cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Lumley, Ralph

Ralph Michael Lumley, 77, a resident of Hughestown, died Saturday at his home.
Born in West Avoca, he was the son of the late Ralph and Elizabeth Steffan Lumley. He was a graduate of Hughestown High School, class of 1941.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He served with Headquarters Co., 252nd Field Artillery Battalion in the European Theater, including service during the Battle of the Bulge.
He was employed by Earle's Hardware, Pittston Township, for several years and later graduated from aircraft mechanic school at the Wyoming Valley Airport. He moved to Alaska and was an aircraft mechanic with Wien Air Alaska at Fairbanks and Anchorage for 19 years, retiring in 1980, when he returned to Northeastern Pennsylvania.
He was a life member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Hughestown, and a member of the National Rifle Association and the Teamsters Union.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Donald and Carl Lumley.
Surviving are sisters, Ruth Orr, Hughestown; Betty Stites, Enon, Ohio; Doris Schild, Montoursville; brother, William Lumley, West Pittston; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday from St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Hughestown, with the Rev. Kenneth Trexler, interim pastor, officiating.
