Annette C. Krezmer, 91, formerly of Montoursville, died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2000, at Valley View Nursing Home, where she had been a resident for two years. Her husband, Joseph P. Krezmer, died in 1977. She had been a nurses’ aide at the former Park Home, Divine Providence Hospital and the former Manley Nursing Home. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Montoursville, a member of the South Williamsport Senior Citizens and was a volunteer with the Lycoming County Bloodmobile. Born April 3, 1909, at Huntersville, she was a daughter of Francis and Mayme Ryan Rynearson. Surviving are a son, Frank R. of Rochester, N.Y.; a daughter, Helen V. Lorson of Montoursville; 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church, 100 Walnut St. with the Rev. Thomas P. Shoback, her pastor, officiating. Friends may call at the church from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Mount Carmel of Wildwood. Jack Borick
Jack Borick, 40, of Lopez and Cherry Hill, N.J., died Friday, Sept. 1, 2000, at the Cooper Medical Center, Camden, N.J., as a result of an accident while at work. He was an electrician for DEC Electric Co. of Berlin, N.J. He was a member of St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Church in Lopez. In addition, he was a member of IBEW Local Union 351 and the Harley Davidson Motor Cycles Group (H.O.G.) He served in the Navy. Born July 18, 1960, in Pennsauken, N.J., he was a son of John S. and Gertrude B. Hunter Borick. He was a graduate of Pennsauken High School. Surviving are his father, also of Pennsauken, his uncle, Nicholas Borick of Pensacola, Fla., and an aunt, Mary Dempsey of Dushore. A burial service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church with Hieromonk Michael Thier, his pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the church Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Homer’s, 206 Water St., Dushore. There will be a Parastas service at 7:30. The family will provide the flowers.
Beatrice V. Hunter
PICTURE ROCKS – Beatrice V. Hunter, 89, of 173 Laurel Run St. died Sunday, Sept. 3, 2000, at Valley View Nursing Center, Montoursville. Her husband, Fred P. Hunter Sr., died in 1989. She was employed by J.K. Rishel Furniture Co., Williamsport. She was a member of Picture Rocks United Methodist Church. She was a member of Lady Hughes Rebekah Lodge 215, Hughesville. She attended Picture Rocks schools. She enjoyed painting, needlework, hunting and fishing. Born May 13, 1911 in Nordmont, she was the daughter of Frank S. and Anna P. Cox Foust. Surviving are a son, Fred P. Hunter Jr. of Picture Rocks; two sisters, Pauline Phillips and Alberta Fry, both of Picture Rocks; one grandchild; one stepgrandchild; and two stepgreat-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Catherine Laurenson. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Picture Rocks Cemetery with the Rev. Barbara Kaetzel-Row, her pastor, officiating. Ralph E. Lierheimer
Ralph E. Lierheimer, 90, of 1617 Spring Lane died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2000, at Williamsport Hospital. He and his wife, the former Lillian E. Doebelin, celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary March 4. He was a self-employed farmer in Rush Hill, Mo., for more than 50 years. He was a member, former elder and deacon of the Presbyterian Church in Mexico, Mo. He was active in Missouri Republican politics. Born July 8, 1910, in Benton City, Mo., he was a son of Ernest W. and Mary Watts Lierheimer. Surviving, besides his wife, are a daughter, Sharon A. Castle of Williamsport; two brothers, Fred and Charles, both of Mexico, Mo.; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at the convenience of the family in East Lawn Cemetery, Mexico, Mo. Arrangements are being handled by Sanders’, 821 Diamond St.

Joseph D. Muthler
MILL HALL - The funeral will be Wednesday for Joseph D. Muthler, 33, of Campbell Road, who died Friday, Sept. 1, 2000, in a traffic accident on Route 120. He was a heavy equipment operator for Hawbaker of State College. He was a 1985 graduate of Bald Eagle Nittany High School. He was an Army veteran. Born March 26, 1967, in Lock Haven, he was a son of William C. Muthler Sr. of Beech Creek and Judith E. McKinley McCauley of Jersey Shore. Surviving are his wife, the former Susan C. McCauley; a son, Zachariah E.; two daughters, Tiffany E. Muthler and Danielle Marshall of Jersey Shore; two brothers, William C. Jr. and Timothy J.; and two sisters, Rebecca S. Loner and Ashley E. Muthler, both of Jersey Shore. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Walker’s, 231 High St., Flemington, with the Rev. Russell Moldovan officiating. Robert E. “Bobby” Pepperman, 74, formerly of 385 Valley St., DuBoistown, died Friday, Sept. 1, 2000, at Manor Care North. Born April 20, 1926, in Williamsport, he was a son of Robert M. and L. Hazel Yearick Pepperman. Surviving are a brother, Donald R. of Williamsport; two sisters, Doris V. Myers of Williamsport and Judy A. Quinton of Maitland, Fla. Forest R. Stonge
Forest R. Stonge, 85, of 153 Logan Road, Dillsburg, a former area pastor, died Sunday, Sept. 3, 2000, in the Harrisburg Hospital. His wife of 55 years, the former Doris J. Berry, died Sept. 1, 1993. A United Methodist pastor, he served churches in the Central Pennsylvania Conference, including at Montgomery and the First United Methodist Church in Jersey Shore, from which he retired in 1983. He was a Lycoming College graduate and received his master of divinity from Wesley Seminary in Washington, D.C. He was a past president of the Jersey Shore Historical Society. Born April 20, 1915, in Danville, he was a son of Albert B. and the Anna V. Cromley Stonge. Surviving are three sons, James R. of Mount Lebanon; Gerald R. of Mechanicsburg; Joseph A. Savadge of Dillsburg; a daughter, Kit Mariah of Guerneville, Calif.; a sister, Emma McCaffrey of Danville; six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, in the First United Methodist Church, 236 S. Main St., Jersey Shore, with the Rev. Keith Rockwell officiating. Burial will be in Grays Cemetery, Stormstown. Ethel V. Wittman
Ethel V. Wittman, 85, of Elmira, N.Y., a Montoursville native, died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2000, at St. Joseph’s Hospital there. She was the widow of William Wittman. Born March 31, 1915, she was a daughter of Lloyd and Anna Simon. Surviving are a son, William of Horseheads, N.Y.; a daughter, Mary Jane of Elmira, N.Y.; five grandchildren, William Brown, Timothy Brown, Dawn Fernandez, Derek Wittman and Shannah Kamas; three great-granddaughters; and one great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by a sister, Ruth Barr, and brother, Clarence Simon. The funeral will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Barrett’s, 1004 Lake St., Elmira, N.Y. Patricia Wilson Garner Breard, 60, of Slidell, La., and formerly of this city, died Monday, Sept. 4, 2000 in Slidell Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of James Breard. She was employed as a registered nurse. She was a member of and Eucharistic minister at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Slidell, La. She was born in Bloomsburg. Surviving, besides her husband, are a daughter, Diane Gardner of Bradford, and two sons, William R. Garner III and James W. Garner, both of Slidell, La. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Schoen’s, 3808 Pontchartrain Blvd., Slidell. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Slidell. Harold H. Gehron
Harold H. Gehron, 82, of 2296 Kenwood Ave. died Sunday, Sept. 3, 2000, at home. His wife is the former Erla Jeane Legge. He was employed in the construction business for many years. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving with the 82nd Airborne Division. He was a member of Church of the Savior Lutheran. Born March 22, 1918, in this city, he was a son of John P. L. and Sophia Sump Gehron. Surviving, besides his wife, are a son, Michael J.F. of Frederick, Md.; a brother, Herbert of this city; and a sister, Eleanor Young of Mifflinburg. The funeral will be at the convenience of the family in Wildwood Cemetery Chapel. Burial will be in the Cemetery. There will be no visitation. The family will provide flowers. MUNCY – Jeannie M. Hill, 47, of 163 Shaggy Bark Lane, Pennsdale, died Sunday, Sept. 3, 2000, in Muncy Valley Hospital after being stricken at home. She and her husband, Kenneth F. Hill, would have observed their 16th wedding anniversary Oct. 6. She was a registered nurse with Susquehanna Health System. She formerly served as executive vice president and chief operating officer of Williamsport Hospital. She was a Muncy School director. She was a member of Pennsdale United Methodist Church. She was a 1970 graduate of Jersey Shore High School, where she was named Tiadaughton Queen. She was a graduate of Penn State University with a bachelor’s degree in hospital and business administration and of Penn College with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She earned a master’s degree from Temple University. She was a member of the fund-raising committee of Pennsdale Volunteer Fire Co. and the Muncy Little League Board of Directors. Born Sept. 20, 1952 in Willliamsport, she was the daughter of Earl D. and Mary E. Burke Eck. Surviving, besides her husband and mother, are two sons, Travis K. and Kyle G., both at home, and two brothers, David J. Eck of Jersey Shore and Thomas G. Eck of Montoursville. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Faith United Methodist Church, 700 Fairview Drive, Montoursville, with the Rev. Cecily A. Eisley, her pastor, officiating. Harriet E. Kinley
Harriet E. Kinley, 79, of 60 Rice Lane and formerly of Shaw Road, Loyalsock Township, died Sunday, Sept. 3, 2000, in the Williamsport Home following a brief illness. She was a secretary at the former Avco Lycoming Inc. She was a member of Eagle United Methodist Church, Bloomingrove Road. A 1937 graduate of the Williamsport High School, she graduated from the former Miss Wheaton School in this city, a business school. She enjoyed reading and gardening. Born Sept. 10, 1920, in Loyalsock Township, she was a daughter of Carl R. and Margaret L. Blair Rice. Surviving are two brothers, David W. Rice of Cape Coral, Fla., and Paul L. Rice of this city; four sisters, Marion E. Wirth, Margaret A. Shafer and Erma M. Goodell all of this city and Betty J. Bernardi of Cogan Station. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Edgar R. Landis, who died April 26, 1978, and Dalton E. Kinley, who died Methodist April 21, 1995, and a sister, Arlene M. Rice, who died Jan. 8, 1996. A private graveside service will be at the convenience of the family in Wildwood Cemetery, with the Rev. Ruth Romberger, her pastor, officiating. LOCK HAVEN - Samuel McClintick, 82, of Salona died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2000, in Susque-View Nursing Center. He was retired from the Salona Quarry. Born Sept. 4, 1917, in Mill Hall, he was a son of Russell S. and L. Idona Brungard McClintick. Surviving are a brother, William L. of Bellefonte; and a sister, Ruth E. Toner of Bessemer, Ala. Olenchick, observed their 42nd wedding anniversary Oct. 12. He was a retired plumber and pipe-fitter for Union Local 520, Harrisburg. He was a member of Korean War Veterans of Lycoming County and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7863, DuBoistown. He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church. He was a graduate of Armaugh High School, Armaugh. He enjoyed sports, hunting and gardening. Born April 23, 1931, in Robindale, he was a son of Samuel and Mary Cindrick Bozochovic. Surviving, besides his wife, are two sons, Samuel J. of city Scott J. of Nisbet; two daughters, Brenda L. Reasner of Turbotville and Gorgiann Demcher of King of Prussia; two brothers, Robert of Millersville and William of Lancaster; three sisters, Dorothy Moser of Lancaster, Mary Goebert of Blairsville and Agnes Gehris of Lancaster; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Edward. The services will be at noon Thursday, in the church, 1220 Northway Road, with the Rev. Andrew Kurovsky officiating. JERSEY SHORE - Lewis C. Bickley, 86, of 133 Spruce St. died Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2000, in Williamsport Hospital. He and his wife, the former Elsie D. Dolan, observed their 63rd wedding anniversary Monday. He retired as a supervisor for the former Bethlehem Steel Wire Rope after many years. He was a life member of Elks Lodge 1057. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He enjoyed golf and carpentry. Born Aug. 10, 1914, in Avis, he was a son of James and Lillian Myers Brickley. Surviving, besides his wife, are a son, Larry of Jamestown, N.Y.; a daughter, Carol J. Schurer of Jersey Shore; three grandchildren; and a great-grandson. Roger Allen Campbell, 39, formerly of Mansfield, died Monday, Sept. 4, 2000, in Erie. He was a cook for various local restaurants. He was a Navy veteran. He was a graduate of Williamson High School and attended Mansfield University. Born April 20, 1961, in Elmira, N.Y., he was a son of Reginald B. and Betty J. Heffer Campbell. Surviving, besides his mother of Wellsboro, are a daughter, Bethany Kohler of Harrisburg; and two brothers, Bruce B. of Tioga and Mark D. of Brooklyn, N.Y. Henry A. Dake Sr. 71, of 1505 High St. died Sunday, Sept. 3, 2000, in Williamsport Hospital. He retired from Grumman, Montgomery. An Army veteran of World War II and Korea, he was a member of American Legion Post 104, Montoursville, and 40 et 8 Club. Born April 4, 1929, in Gary, Ind., he was a son of Albert and Agnes Nelson Dake. Surviving are two sons, Harold E. H. of Painted Post, N.Y. and Henry A. Jr. of Watertown, N.Y.; six daughters, Barbara A. Och of Anterp, N.Y., Linda L. of Gouverneur, N.Y., Kathy L. Carnes of Oneida, N.Y., Kellie A. Christensen of Canastota, N.Y., Tracy of Buffalo, N.Y. and K. T. Dake-Gendon of Caledonia N.Y.; six brothers, Albert of Ralston, George and Charles, both of Blossburg, Harry of this city, William of Elkland and James in Pennsylvania; four sisters, Donna of Westfield, Susan and Rosemary of Nelson and Sandra of Rochester, N.Y.; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
