Naomi Caroline Green, 79, of Hughesville, died Wednesday, March 28, 2001 at her home. She is predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Donald R. Green, who died June 21, 1982. Born Aug. 30, 1921 in Benton Twp., Columbia Co., she was a daughter of Samuel & Jessie Rider Kilgus. She had been employed at the former Weldon Manufacturing as Floor Lady and Supervisor. She also did house cleaning in the area for the past 20 years. Surviving are a son, Gary E. Green & his wife Linda of Hughesville; a daughter, Carolyn A. Wilson & her husband Ronald of Montoursville; 4 grandchildren, Ronald Lee Wilson Jr., Wendy Lynn Kutz, Brad W. & Chad V. Green; 3 great grandchildren, Codi Nichole Wilson, Katie Lyn Kutz & Leigha Kathryn Green; and 2 sisters, Eleanor Houseweart & Margaret Steinruck, both of Wmspt. She was predeceased by 5 sisters, Leah Armes, Edith Peterman, Susie Hunter, Tacie Kennedy and Lucille Moore, and a brother, Carl Kilgus. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 2 p.m. at McCarty-Thomas’, 557 E. Water St., Hughesville, with the Rev. Arthur Gladfelter officiating. Burial will be in Cherry Grove Cemetery, Nordmont. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1-2 p.m. Saturday.
Ronald C. Kramer
Ronald C. Kramer, 53, of 545 Huston St., Flemington, died Wednesday, March 28, 2001 at home. He was born Nov. 19, 1947 in Flemington. Surviving are his wife, Kathleen S. VanEmon Kramer; 3 sons, Brian W. of Mill Hall, Brad L. of Rhode Island and Mark L. of Lock Haven; 3 sisters, Alice Dolan of Rote, Pauline Resides of Williamsport and Emily Hill of Beech Creek; a half brother, Richard Conklin of Flemington; a half sister, Betty Lou Herman of Swissdale; and 3 grandchildren. The funeral will be Saturday, 3 p.m. at 1st Baptist Church, 210 N. Vesper St., Lock Haven. Arrangements by Walker’s F.H., Flemington.
Vicky S. Clousher
Vicky S. Clousher, 54, of Mechanicsburg, died March 28, 2001. Born Dec. 25, 1946 in Sangabon, Balite, Villaba, The Philippines, she was the daughter of the late Gaucellio & Felecula Sumile. Surviving are her husband, Fred E. Clousher, a daughter, Michelle M. Lively of Williamsport, 2 brothers, 1 sister & 2 grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Saturday, 7 p.m. at Myers-Harner’s, Camp Hill. Visitation 6-7 p.m.
Russel J. Conrad
Russel J. Conrad, 80, of 1004 Weldon St., Montoursville, died Wednesday, March 28, 2001 at Williamsport Hospital. Mr. Conrad retired from Kremser Brothers in Montoursville. He was a WWII Army veteran. He and his wife, the former Joanna S. Bartges, celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary December 31, 2000. Born October 30, 1920 in Williamsport, he was the son of Louis and Grace Elis Conrad. Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters, Joanna Mummey of Sunbury, Margaret (Peggy) Stryker of Hughesville, Ann Marie Meehan of Ulster; a brother, Wayne Conrad of Dewart; a sister, Emma Mae Keller of Lititz; 7 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Wayne Mummey, Jr.; 3 brothers, W. Lee, Ralph E., Robert; and a sister, Dorothy. The funeral and burial will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by Spitler’s, 733 Broad St., Montoursville.
Teddy L. Way
Teddy L. Way, 58, or RR1 Tioga, died March 27, 2001. Born May 10, 1942 in Coopers, WV, he was the son of the late Theodore Roosevelt & Maudie Ellen Moore Way. He and his wife, the former Darlene Young Rusk, were married May 28, 1972. The funeral will be Tuesday, 10 a.m. at Tussey-Mosher’s, 139 Main St., Wellsboro. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday. Burial will be private.
Virginia L. Baird
Virginia L. Baird, 71, formerly of 2222 Mahaffy Lane, Williamsport, died Wednesday, March 28, 2001 at Roseview Manor. Her husband, Harry F. Baird, died in November of 1995. She was born July 24, 1929 in Lock Haven. She was a homemaker and attended St. Michael Lutheran Church.
Surviving are 3 sons, Thomas E. and Harry S., both of Williamsport and Richard E. of Elimsport; and 7 grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, 1 p.m. at St. Michael Lutheran Church, Quiggleville, with the Rev. Detlef Huckfeldt officiating. The family will receive friends from 12-1 p.m. at the church. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation, 63 N. Catherine Butler, 44, of E. Third St., Williamsport, formerly of Florida, died Sunday, March 25, 2001 at Manor Care Health Services. Born April 1, 1956, in Little Rock, Ark., she was the daughter of Hattie M. Whetstone. Surviving are a daughter, Marlo Campbell of Florida; 2 sisters, Joanne Joiner of Williamsport and Anna Louise Singletary of Florida; and 4 grandchildren. There will be no services.

Tracy E. Barto
Tracy E. Barto, 39, of 413 South Washington St., Muncy, died Thursday, March 29, 2001 in the Williamsport Hospital following a brief illness. He was a crane operator for the Benton Foundry, a member of the Newberry Church of Christ and enjoyed playing all kinds of sports. He was born in Williamsport on July 2, 1961. Surviving are his adoptive parents, George and Patricia Lepley, Sr.; 10 brothers, Terry, George, Jr., Dennis, Rand and Jim Lepley, Gary, Ronnie, Herb and Hal Barto, and Wade Michael; 5 sisters, Sherry Derr, Dodie Brewer, Wendy Baxter, Shelly Thomas and Cindy Barto; companion, Elise Noltee. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Kelly and Steve Barto and Chris Houseknecht, and a sister, Peggy McLaughlin. Funeral service Tuesday, April 3, 11:30 a.m. at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., with Pastor Ron D. Savits, his pastor officiating. Visitation 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at funeral home. Interment will be in Twin Hills Memorial Park. The family will provide the flowers and suggest contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

William C. Hamilton, 74, of 101 Leader Drive, Williamsport, died Friday, March 30, 2001 in ManorCare South. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Hamilton. He was born July 11, 1926, in Tyrone, the son of Carr & Amanda Wilson Hamilton. Mr. Hamilton was a service repairman with Pickelner. Surviving are 3 brothers, Donald L. of South Williamsport, Francis E. of this city & Richard of CA. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Sylvester B., Robert E. & George W. Visitation 12:30-1:30 p.m. Monday at Sanders’, 821 Diamond St. Funeral service 1:30. Burial will be in Twin Hills Memorial Park.
Harlan C. “Dutch” Bloom
Harlan C. “Dutch” Bloom, 90, of 138-2 Johnson Road, Kirkwood, NY, formerly of Williamsport, died Sunday, March 25, 2001 at River Mede Manor Nursing Home, Binghamton, NY. He graduated from the Williamsport High School in 1928. In 1937, along with his wife, he managed and then owned the Home Dairy Cafeteria and Bakery and the Embers Supper Club in Binghamton, retiring in 1975. Dutch was an avid golfer, playing until last year. He was well known for playing in tournaments in New York, Pennsylvania, Jamaica, Scotland and the New York State Seniors. He was proud of his hole in one in 1968. He was a member of St. Mark’s Lodge 1001 F.&A.M. and the New York State Restaurant Assoc. Born March 2, 1911 in Mount Vernon, Ohio, a son of Amandus N. and Jeanette Stahinecker Bloom. Surviving are his wife of 68 years, the former Grace Robbins; a daughter, Dolores Parisi of Kirkwood; a brother, Paul Bloom and a sister, Lelia Wingrove, both of Williamsport; 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by sisters, Dorothy Bloom, Jeanette Byers and Eleanor Miller. Funeral service, 10:30 a.m. Monday at Knight-Confer’s, 1914 Memorial Avenue, with Rev. Bruce R. Druckenmiller of New Covenant United Church of Christ, officiating. Interment will be in Wildwood Cemetery. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Sunday at funeral home. Margaret C. Gray
Margaret C. Gray, 95, formerly of Wildwood Blvd., Williamsport and currently of Mechanicsburg, died March 29, 2001, at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill. Born April 10, 1905, she was the daughter of George T. and Mary E. Beilhartz Tallman. She was the widow of Lester R. Gray who died in May 1995, and was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. Surviving are her son, Charles G. and his wife, Barbara of Watertown, NY; three grandchildren, David A. and Kenneth C. Gray and Katherine A. Sherlock; and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville with her pastor, Rev. David L. Weaver officiating. Burial will be in Montoursville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday 10-11 a.m.

Eli J. Hostetler, 69, of Turbotville RR1, died Friday, March 30 at his home. The funeral service will be Monday, 10 a.m. Standard Time at the Hostetler residence.
