Ceil Ann Kelley, 76, of 450 Center St. and formerly of Throop, PA, died Friday, April 6, 2001 at her residence.
Born on November 28, 1924 in Throop, PA she was the daughter of Andrew and Mary Leggott Hudak.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church in Throop.
She was employed as a housekeeper at Lycoming College and retired from there in 1986.
Surviving are a son Robert L. of Williamsport, two sisters, Kay Orloski of Scranton and Irene Hudak of Dunmore, three brothers, Stephen of Ormond Beach, Fla., Joseph of Throop, Andrew of Scranton, and three grandchildren Bart, Leah, and Erin.
She was preceded in death by a son Paul in 1995, and two sisters, Helen Grabowski and Mary Longo, and three brothers, Michael, John, and George.
A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association 1704 Warren Ave. Williamsport, PA 17701.

Mr. Floyd L. Kendall, Jr
Mr. Floyd L. Kendall, Jr., 83, of 1040 Dewey Ave., Williamsport, was pronounced dead in the Emergency Room of Williamsport Hospital on Friday, April 6, 2001, after being stricken at his home.
Born Nov. 5, 1917, in Canton, he was a son of Floyd L., Sr. and Hattie Carney Kendall. He was a member of the South Williamsport Church of Christ and enjoyed ham radio. An Army veteran of World War II, he received a Purple Heart for wounds sustained in the Battle of the Bulge.
He is survived by his wife, the former Helen Askey; two daughters: Nancy M. Beck of city and Linda J. Binkley of Cogan Station; a brother Robert of Troy; two sisters: Pauline Watts and Margaret Ameigh, both of the Canton area; 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday from Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St. with Elder Max L. Hafner presiding. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Olen C. and Lydia J. Scaife
Olen C., 83, and wife, Lydia J. Scaife, 77, of Highway Route 87, Plunketts Creek Twp., died Saturday, April 7, 2001 in a car accident on Rt. 87. They celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary on April 4.
Born April 26, 1917 in Plunketts Creek Twp., Olen was a son of Percy P. and Sarah Campbell Scaife. Surviving him are four sisters, Grace Gumble of Endicott, N.Y., Dorothy Coup and Virginia Jolin both of Williamsport and Mary Alice Lutz of Montoursville. He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Born Sept. 19, 1923 in Summersville, W.V., Lydia was a daughter of William W. and Bertha L. Rapp Wright. She was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
Surviving Mr. and Mrs. Scaife are two sons and daughter-in-laws, Keith D. and Sandy of Hillsgrove and Curtis H. and Nancy of VanEtten, N.Y.; a daughter and son-in-law, Peggy V. and Doyle Bodle of Hughesville; five grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Memorial services for both Olen and Lydia will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Spitler's, 733 Broad St., Montoursville, with the Rev. John W. Pittenger of Loyalsock Baptist Church officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Carl W. Gardner
Carl W. Gardner, 84, of 525 N. Arch St., Montoursville, died Sunday, April 8, 2001 at Williamsport Hospital. Born January 29, 1917, in Moreland Twp., he was the son of Harry W. and Edith Lowe Gardner.
Mr. Gardner formerly worked in Lycoming County for 34 years as a technician for North Eastern Breeders Association based in Tunkhannock, PA. He was a member of the Community Baptist Church, Montoursville. He and his wife, the former Sarah Alice Gower celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary February 5, 2001.
Surviving in addition to his wife is his son, William M. of Enola; a sister, Geraldine Sones of Hughesville; 2 grandchildren, Randall Gardner of Williamsport, Charlotte Fraser of Highland, IL; and 5 great grandchildren.
The funeral will be Thursday, 10:30 a.m. at Community Baptist Church, 900 N. Loyalsock Ave., Montoursville with his pastor, Gary D. Finn and associate pastor Lynn A. Wheeler officiating. Burial will be in Montoursville Cemetery. Friends may call at the church Thursday, 9:30-10:30 a.m.

Margaret Hagar McMillen
Margaret Hagar McMillen, 83, formerly of Mansfield, died Apr. 8, 2001 in Florida. Survivors: her husband, Charles Hughes of FL; 3 sons, James of St. Joseph, MO, Paul of Camp Hill, PA, Tom of Washington DC; a daughter, Sheila Day of Charlottsville, VA; 4 grandchildren; 2 sisters and 2 brothers. She was predeceased by her first husband, Dr. James McMillen. A mass will be held 2 p.m., Apr. 20th, at Holy Child Church in Mansfield, With Father Kaminski officiating. Burial will be in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Blossburg. Arrangements are in care of Zwicharoski Funeral Home, Blossburg.
Stella K. Holmes
Stella K. Holmes, 75, of 1628 Nice's Hallow Road, Jersey Shore, died Saturday, April 7, 2001 in ManorCare Health Services, Jersey Shore.
She and her husband, Richard L. Holmes, were married July 17, 1977. Mrs. Holmes was an EKG Technician at Divine Providence Hospital. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, Williamsport.
Born March 6, 1926 in Chicago, Ill., she was the daughter of Harry and Anna Jakubak Pinianski. Surviving in addition to her husband are three sons, Larry and Marvin Hittle, both of Jamestown, Co., and Carl Hittle of Lafayette, Co.; two stepchildren, Carol Beatty of Jersey Shore and Rustin Holmes of Bangor, PA; 4 grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; one brother, Walter Pinianski and one sister, Eugena Pinianski, both of Chicago, Ill.

Richard L. White, 68, of RD7 Wellsboro, died April 7, 2001. Born Aug. 5, 1932 in Mosherville, he was the son of Lester H. & Elnora Rose White. He and his wife, the former Pauline M. Kalmbach, celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary Sept. 20. Surviving besides his wife are son, Lynn, Wellsboro; daughter, Janine Sawyer, Wellsboro; 3 grandchildren. A private service was held. Betty L. Larson
Betty L. Asper Larson, 78, formerly of Mt. Wolf, died Sunday, April 8, 2001 at ManorCare Health Services, Jersey Shore.
She was born June 24, 1922 in York. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ture J. Larson, Jan. 6, 1996. Surviving are a son, D.B. Doc Larson of Summerson Mt. North Bend; a daughter, Jeanne Y. Heindel of York; 2 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 4 brothers; and 1 sister.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Haneyville Baptist Church. Burial will be in Haneyville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Walker's Funeral Home, 231 High St., Flemington.
Sara K. Scholl
Sara K. Scholl, 85, of Williamsport, PA, formerly of Galeton, PA, died Sunday, April 8, 2001. Born December 3, 1915, in Clearfield County, PA, she was the daughter of Bertford and Muriel Reiter High. She was married to Harry J. Scholl, who predeceased her in 1970. A graduate of Bucknell University, she earned a master's degree in special education from Mansfield University. She was a teacher in the Galeton Area School District for many years, retiring in 1975. She was a member of the Galeton First Presbyterian Church, PALMA, and the former Galeton Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. Surviving are: two daughters, Mrs. Bruce (Karen) Harris of Williamsport, PA and Mrs. Neil (Regina) Tischler of Acton, MA; and two grandsons. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Ruth Mainus. A Memorial Service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, April 13, 2001 at the Collins-Olney Funeral Home, Galeton, PA. The Rev. E. Louise Woleslagle
E. Louise (Allen) Woleslagle, age 85, of Monroeton (Mountain Lake) PA, passed away on Monday, April 9, 2001 at Towanda Memorial Hospital, Towanda, PA. She was born on January 10, 1916 in Mountain Lake, the daughter of the late Glen and Elizabeth (Madigan) Allen. Louise was a former member of the Mountain Lake Methodist Church and attended the Independent Baptist Church in Towanda, PA. Louise was a 1933 graduate of Troy High School. She was a talented seamstress who owned her own dress shop. She was instrumental in the formation of a support and instructional group for the developmentally disabled at the Troy Presbyterian Church from 1958-1962. Louise was a teachers aide at the former Luthers Mills School, and also taught at the Martha Lloyd School for over 26 years, retiring in 1988. She was the recipient of the Martha Lloyd award in 1984.
Louise is survived by her husband of 60 years, Albert M. Woleslagle at home; children, A. Allen (Gale) Woleslagle of Williamsport, PA, Carol Woleslagle of Troy, PA, Duane G. (Sally) Woleslagle of Mountain Lake, PA, Joann (David) Wright of Laceyville, PA, and Gary M. (Sharon) Woleslagle of Montoursville, PA; 14 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Leona Ward of State College, PA; several nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc., 110 W. Main Street, Troy, PA on Wednesday, April 11, 2001 from 6 to 8 p.m., and on Thursday, April 12, 2001 from 1 to 2 p.m. The funeral service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with the Reverend Donn L. Hauser, pastor of the Independent Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Mountain Lake Cemetery. Betty Christabell Berkheimer, 83, of 439 Water St., Northumberland, died April 9, 2001. Born April 27, 1917, in Northumberland, she was the daughter of Henry Z. & Barbara Bollinger Bardall. Her husband of 62 years, Charles Henry "Berky" Berkheimer, Sr., died Jan. 1, 1997. The funeral will be Thursday, 11 a.m., Blank's, 309 Water St., Northumberland. Mae M. Rogers, 86, of 40 Jay St., Dunnstown, died April 9 2001, at ManorCare Health Services, Jersey Shore. Born Aug. 26, 1914 in Swissdale, she was the daughter of Emanuel & Louisa Rader Probst. She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest W. Rogers, Jr., who died Oct. 26, 1976. The funeral will be Thursday, 11 a.m. at Yost-Gedon's, 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven. Theresa Stoddart Calhoun, 89, of Sullivan Terrace, Dushore, died April 9, 2001. Born Dec. 22, 1911 in Hamilton, Scotland, she was a daughter of Michael P. & Theresa V. Nevens Conlin. Her first husband, Alexander Stoddart died in 1971. Her second husband, Delbert Calhoun died in 1994. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, 10 a.m. at St. Basil's Church, Dushore.
