Marian Mankey
Marian Mankey, 83, of 315 Brown St., South Williamsport, died Monday, April 9, 2001 at her residence.
Arrangements are being handled by Noll's, 1 E. Central Ave., South Williamsport.

John C. Yarosz
John C. Yarosz, 77, of Rt. 87, Montoursville, formerly of Bradenton, Fla., died Saturday, April 7, 2001 at home. Born Oct. 18, 1923 in Williamsport, he was the son of Raymond P. & Katherine Gola Yarosz.
He had been employed by the former Pennsylvania Railroad. He moved to Mantee County Florida in 1961. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Bradenton, as well as being a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Brandenton, Fla. John was an Army Air Force veteran of the Asiatic and Pacific Theatre of War. He was awarded with the Destinguishes Flying Cross as well as several other Air and Campaign Medals.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Carol Tomlinson & Susan Yarosz Smith, both of Bradenton, Fla; a brother, Baldwin R. Yarosz of South Williamsport; 4 sisters, Sophie Philips and Anna Wentz, both of Schulykillhaven, Elsie Hyde of Montoursville, and Carolyn Linden of Baltimore, Md.; and 2 grandchildren.
A Family Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, 7 p.m., at Church of the Annunciation, Fourth & Walnut Streets, Williamsport. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Crouse Funeral Home, 133 E. 3rd St.

Alfred R. "Al" Klinger
Alfred R. "Al" Klinger, 58, of Nashua, N.H., died Tuesday, April 3, 2001 in Bedford, Mass. Born Oct. 18, 1942 in Williamsport, he was the son of Alfred R. Klinger Sr. of Hughesville and Lucille M. (Harris) Long of Williamsport. He and his wife, the former Gabriella Caprani were married for 33 years.
He was educated in Williamsport and earned his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Penn State University in 1973. He worked as a logistics engineer for Raytheon for more than 30 years. Alfred was an Army veteran stationed in Italy, serving from 1960-1964. He was a pianist, computer buff and a private pilot.
Surviving, besides his parents & his wife, are 3 daughters & a son-in-law, Sylvia Klinger, Las Vegas, Nev., Cinzia & Brad Bibb, Phoenix, Ariz., Kristine Klinger at home; a granddaughter, Olivia Bibb, Phoenix, Ariz.; 2 stepsisters, Judith Brewer, Montgomery & Barbara Little, Williamsport; a stepmother, Verna Klinger, Hughesville; a stepfather, George Long, Williamsport; his mother-in-law, Pina Caprani, Italy; & many relatives in Italy. Services were held in New Hampshire.

Theresa Stoddart Calhoun
Theresa Stoddart Calhoun, 89, of Sullivan Terrace, Dushore, died April 9, 2001. Surviving are a son, Alexander James Stoddart of Alaska & a daughter, Marian Louise Ryan of Laporte. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held today, 10 a.m. at St. Basil's Church, Dushore. Burial in Twin Hills Memorial Park. Homer's, Dushore.

Carl Ellwood Follmer
Carl Ellwood Follmer, 78, 2525 Columbus Avenue, DuBoistown, died Monday, April 9, 2001 at his home.
Mr. Follmer was a member of the DuBoistown United Methodist Church. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War Two, and a graduate of the Williamsport High School.
He retired in 1982 from the maintenance department of the former L.L. Stearns Department Store, Williamsport.
He was born August 7, 1922 at Williamsport, the son of the late John Carl and Helen Frymire Follmer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Sarah J. (Sally) Seese.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Debra Buck, Hughesville; four brothers, Robert, Ralph and Charles, Williamsport and Dale, Camp Hill; one sister, Mrs. Doris Shuman, Nisbet; and one grandson.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Thursday at Noll's, 1 E. Central Ave., South Williamsport. Burial will be at Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service.

Alberta T. Harding
Haverhill MA - Alberta (Thompson) Harding, 86, of 180 Water Street, and formerly of Rochester, NY, died Thursday, April 5, 2001. Mrs. Harding was the wife of the late Eugene B. Harding.
Born in Williamsport August 28, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Nelson H. and Sarah (Williams) Thompson.
Mrs. Harding was a graduate of Montoursville High School class of 1932. She was a certified braille transcriber, and in attaining her certification she first had to have one of her transcribed texts accepted by the Library of Congress.
Mrs. Harding is survived by her son, Eugene H. Harding, Newton, NH; daughter, Barbara McClune and her husband David, Scottsdale, AZ; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brothers, Sterling Thompson of Scranton and Lenwood Thompson of Williamsport.
A memorial service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on April 28th at the First Presbyterian Church in Haverhill. Funeral arrangements by Dole, Childs & Shaw, 148 Main Street, Haverhill. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 346 Broadway, Haverhill, MA 01830.

Maudie M. Hart
Maudie M. Hart, 86, of 170 Pinecrest Drive, Williamsport, died Monday, April 9, 2001 at Rose View Manor where she had been two weeks. Born January 25, 1915 in Williamsport, she was the daughter of Robert and Sarah Stahl.
Maudie retired from J.C. Penney Co. in Williamsport. She was a life long member of the East End Baptist Church.
She is survived by 3 daughters, C. Suzanne Butters and Mary E. Gray, both of Williamsport, Shirley M. Brosious of Abington; 7 grandchildren, Barbara Hoover, James Butters, Joni Perchinski, Laurie Crane, Todd Butters, Craig Gray, Jesse Brosious; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick W. Hart, Dec. 27, 1981 and by 3 brothers.
The funeral will be Friday, 10:30 a.m. at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville, with her pastor, Dan A. Leet officiating. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Williamsport. Friends may call at the funeral home, Thursday from 7-8:30 p.m.

Jacob Lloyd Kight
Jacob Lloyd Kight, infant son of Jeffrey L. and Christine T. Kight, of 317 Union Ave., Williamsport, died April 5, 2001 at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, PA.
He was born on April 4, 2001.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his paternal grandparents Ron and Dorothy Kight, Johnstown, PA and his maternal grandparents, Eleanor Uckele, Essex Junction, VT and Kenneth Taylor, Houston, TX.
Memorial service Friday, April 13, 4 p.m. at Light and Life Chapel, 1680 Four Mile Dr., with Rev. Donn R. Davis officiating. Interment will be in Wildwood Cemetery. The family will provide the flowers and suggest contributions be made to the Geisinger Foundation-Memory of Jacob Lloyd Kight, 100 N. Academy Ave., Danville, PA 17822-0145. Attn: Jo Mancinelli. Marian T. Mankey
Marian T. Mankey, 83, of 315 Brown St., South Williamsport, died Monday, April 9, 2001 at her residence. Born September 14, 1917 in Muncy, she was a daughter of Charles B and Drusilla M. Montague Turner. On September 14, 1941, in Williamsport, she married Frederick W. Mankey, Jr., who preceded her in death on July 2, 1993.
In 1945 she began collecting antiques and in the early 1970's founded Marty's Antiques in South Williamsport. In 1993, she became associated with the Lycoming Antique Center, Montoursville. For many years, she was the area's premier lamp repair specialist and was an appraiser, dealer, historian, and lecturer of estate jewelry.
Mrs. Mankey was a member of the Lycoming County Historical Society, to which she donated many antiques, and the Muncy Historical Society. She had been a Sunday school teacher for many years with the former Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Williamsport and was currently a member of the South Williamsport United Methodist Church, and was actively involved with the church women's group. She was a member of the Eastern Star and past president of the Antique Dealers Association. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, entertaining at home and her pets. She was a member of the Lycoming County SPCA, the Lycoming Audobon Society, and many other charities.
Mrs. Mankey was the last member of her generation. Surviving are a brother and sister-in-law, John and Jane Mankey of Williamsport and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 4 sisters and one brother. Marian was greatly loved by all who knew her and she will be deeply missed. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Noll Funeral Home, 1 E. Central Ave., South Williamsport, with the Rev. R. Edward Cope, her pastor, officiating. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be in Wildwood Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Lycoming County SPCA, 2805 Reach Road, Williamsport, PA 17701 or the Lycoming Audobon Society, P.O. Box 4053, Williamsport, PA 17701-0653.

Edith F. O'Day
Edith F. O'Day, 87, 1900 Ravine Road, Williamsport, PA., died Monday, April 9, 2001 at the Williamsport Home. She was the widow of George P. O'Day, who preceded her in death in 1962.
She had been a faithful member of Christ Episcopal Church, Williamsport, and a member of the Altar Guild at the church for many years. She had been employed by the former GRIT and she and her late husband had operated a restaurant at Lewisburg.
Born May 25, 1913 at Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Lillian Finkler Featherstone. Mrs. O'Day is survived by four nieces and a nephew, Margaret Konjevoda, Jeanne Jordan, Barbara Plotts, Donna Breidinger and Charles C. Featherstone, Jr., and numerous great nieces and nephews.
A Requiem Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 2 p.m., Saturday at the Christ Episcopal Church, 426 Mulberry Street, Williamsport, with Rector Daren K. Williams, her pastor as the celebrant. Interment will be at Montoursville Cemetery, Montoursville. Friends may call at the Noll Funeral Home, 1 E. Central Avenue, South Williamsport, on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Contributions in memory of Mrs. Edith F. O'Day may be made to Christ Episcopal Church, 426 Mulberry Street, Williamsport, PA. 17701 or to Susquehanna Home Health Hospice, 1100 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA. 17701.

Muriel K. Riggle
Muriel K. Riggle, 44, of Mill Hall, PA, went to be with the Lord Jesus on Friday, April 6, 2001 after an extended illness. She resided with her mother, Barbara Nancy (Eck) Farwell and step-father, Robert E. Farwell of Mill Hall since February 2000. She died at her home.
Born January 2, 1957, Muriel was involved in a tragic accident at the age of 6. Though she was left permanently disabled, many have seen how God has turned this tragedy into good as those that have come to know her will remember her as an affectionate and forgiving person with a feisty sense of humor. Prior to her residence in Mill Hall, she lived at the Altoona Center in Altoona, PA.
In addition to her mother & step-father, she is survived by her father, John Riggle, Silver City, NM; 2 sisters, Donna Edkin, Kansas City, MO, & Josett Linebrink, CA; a half sister, Felicia Riggle, NM; a stepbrother, Robert Farwell; a stepsister, Shelly Ryan, FL; grandparents, Bernard & Edith Eck.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 14, at 1:30 p.m. at Helt Hanna Kline's, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall with the Rev. Stephen M. Coran officiating. Friends will be received from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice Program of the Community Nursing Service of Clinton County, 124 Woodward Ave., P.O. Box 904, Lock Haven, PA 17745.
