Jack M. Ireland, 82, formerly of Montgomery, died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2007 at Manor Care North.
Born Dec. 26, 1924 in Williamsport, he was a son of Milo and Mary Gehr Ireland.
He was married to the former Neola Grove until her subsequent death.
Mr. Ireland was an Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He retired from Darling Valve.
Surviving are a brother, Milo (Ardis) Ireland of Williamsport, and a sister, Sally Ireland of South Williamsport.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dean Ireland.
A private graveside service was held at Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.

Raymond C. Gramley
Raymond C. Gramley, formerly of Muncy, died Sunday, Jan. 28, 2007 in New Smyrna Beach, FL.
Born in Loganton, he had moved to the Port Orange, FL, area in 1973 from Muncy.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and retired as a tool and die maker.
He enjoyed woodworking.
Mr. Gramley is survived by his niece, Betty L. Gair, Williamsport, and a stepson, Jerry (Marcia) Fairman, Montross, VA.
Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 2, at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, Port Orange, FL, with the Rev. James Messer officiating.
Interment was in Volusia Memorial Park, Ormond Beach, FL.
Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church of Port Orange, 305 Dunlawton Ave., Port Orange, FL 32129.

Mabel M. Pentz
(April 29, 1923 - February 2, 2015)
Mabel Mae Pentz, 91, a resident of Montgomery, PA, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2015 in the Geisinger Medical Center. Born in Milton, Northumberland County, PA, on Sunday, April 29, 1923, she was the daughter of the late John S. and Hazel E. (Sauers) Farnsworth.
Mabel was the widow of Paul L. Pentz, Sr. who preceded her in death on September 4, 1994.
She was retired from the former Carey-McFalls at Montgomery, PA and had previously been employed by the former Montgomery Mills and the former Isaac Decker Co.
Mabel was a member of the St. John Lutheran "Brick" Church at Montgomery, PA where she was a member of the Brick Church Women and the Willing Workers Sunday School Class. Mabel was a member of the Montgomery Senior Citizens and enjoyed crafts.
She is survived by three sons and four daughters-in-law, Paul L. and Carol Pentz, Jr., Montgomery, PA; Donald D. and Evie Pentz, Watsontown, PA; Rev. James R. and Holly Pentz, Watsontown, PA; Bonnie Pentz, Muncy, PA; one sister, Joann Andrews, Loyalsock, PA. Mabel is also survived by ten grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Mabel was preceded in death by her son, Raymond L. Pentz, four grandchildren; Holly Ann Pentz, Donald Pentz, Jr., Darlene Starr and Kathy Starr; one brother, John L. Farnsworth, Jr. and four sisters, Nancy Bohartz, Mary Kennedy, Letha Klinefelter and Pauline Regel.
Funeral services will be conducted from the St. John Lutheran "Brick" Church, 196 Brick Church Road, Montgomery, PA at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, February 9, 2015 with Reverend Viking E. Dietrich, her pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the St. John Lutheran "Brick" Cemetery, Clinton Twp., Lycoming County, PA. Friends may call on Monday from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. at the church. Arrangements are being handled by the Galen R. Betzer Funeral Service, 40 E. Houston Avenue, Montgomery, PA.
Esther E. Allen
Esther E. Allen, 88, Muncy, died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008, at the Muncy Valley Hospital Skilled Nursing Unit, where she resided the past six years.
Born March 3, 1920, in Estella, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Mary (McCormick) Webster.
She married William Edward Allen on March 10, 1937, celebrating 64 years of marriage until his death on Oct. 15, 2001.
She thoroughly enjoyed reading a good book and loved the company of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also extremely fond of dogs, especially her pet schnauzers.
Mrs. Allen was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Muncy.
Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Vonnie and Earl Poust of Muncy; two grandchildren, Daniel Poust of Muncy and Amy Leddy of State College; four great-grandchildren; one half-brother, Floyd Webster of Cogan Station; one half-sister, June Puterbaugh of Trout Run; one stepbrother, Paul Hubbard of Williamsport; one brother-in-law, Gary Allen of Muncy and two sisters-in-law, Doris Allen of Muncy and Jean Boatman of Hughesville.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Moore.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 6, at her church, 602 S. Market St., Muncy, officiated by her pastor, the Rev. Michael R. Gardy. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Muncy Cemetery.
Friends will be received at a luncheon immediately following the service.
The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to either the First United Methodist Church, 602 S. Market St., Muncy, PA 17756 or the Muncy Valley Hospital Skilled Nursing Unit, 215 E. Water St., Muncy, PA 17756.
The family is being assisted by Grenoble’s, Muncy.
Richard A. Moorhead, Sr.
August 29, 1933 - November 5, 2014
Richard A. Moorhead, Sr., 81, a resident of Montgomery, PA, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at his residence. Born in Williamsport, Lycoming County, PA, on Tuesday, August 29, 1933, he was the son of the late Ebbert and Josephine (Strayer) Moorhead.
He was the husband of Edna (Pidcoe) Moorhead with whom he celebrated a 3rd wedding anniversary on August 23, 2014.
Dick was a 1953 graduate of Montgomery-Clinton High School and honorably served during the Korean Conflict with the U.S. Army. He was retired from the West Co. at Montgomery, PA where he was employed for over 50 years.
Dick was a member of Bower-Decker American Legion Post 251 at Montgomery. He will be greatly missed by his family.
In addition to his wife, Dick is survived by four children, Richard A. and wife Ruth Moorhead, Jr., Milton, PA; Jeffrey P. and wife Marti Moorhead, Montgomery, PA; Melody L. and husband Keith Hakes, Montgomery, PA; Christina J. and husband Glenn Houtz, Montgomery, PA; one brother, Jim Moorhead, Lexington, NC. He is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Dick was preceded in death by one brother, Eugene Moorhead and one sister, Martha.
Services will be conducted at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Bower-Decker American Legion Post 251, 185 Broad Street, Montgomery, PA 17752.
