Mrs. Marilyn Y. Emerick Robson, 58, of 435 Grant St., Williamsport, died Monday, Dec. 30, 2002, at her home.
She was the widow of the late Warren E. Robson, who preceded her in death on May 11, 1999.
She had been employed by Wundies, Inc., Williamsport, for 17 years.
She had attended Williamsport schools.
She had been a volunteer for the Leukemia Foundation.
She enjoyed music, was a Nascar fan, and loved animals.
Born Aug. 15, 1944, at Williamsport, she was the daughter of Leonard Jr., and Sarah Janette Hinkal Eckroth.
Surviving are three daughters, Jeanette Grafius and Barbara Watts, both of Williamsport, and Sarah Bubb of Montoursville; twin sons, William H. Emerick and Robert L. Emerick, both of Williamsport; her mother, Mrs. Sarah J. Ohnmeiss of Williamsport; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three brothers, John H. A. Ohnmeiss and Carl T. Ohnmeiss, both of Williamsport, and Jeff L. Ohnmeiss of Anaheim Hills, Calif.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her husband, by her father and a brother, James M.
Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, 2003, at the Charles M. Noll Funeral Home, 1 East Central Avenue, South Williamsport. The Rev. Ron Doan, Susquehanna Regional Home Health Hospice Chaplain, will officiate. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family at Montoursville Cemetery. Flowers will be provided.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday evening, Jan. 2, 2003 after 6 p.m.

Mary Ellen (Meg) Waldman
Mary Ellen (Meg) Waldman, 53, of 413 Colonial Drive, Portsmouth, N.H., passed away Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2002, at her home, following a long illness.
She was born in Weymouth, Mass. Nov. 1, 1949, the daughter of Nelson C. and Helen C. (Quann) Bridges. She had lived in the area with her husband, Emil E. J. Waldman Jr. for the past 22 years. She worked as a self-employed home cleaner for many years. She was a member of St. James Church.
She is survived by her husband, Emil E. J. Waldman; three sisters, Marilyn Thomson and Nancy Rusko, both of Rockland, Mass., and Beverly Bjorkman of Weymouth, Mass.; her mother and father-in-law, Emil and Wilhelmina Waldman of Williamsport; three sisters-in-law, Mikki Cole of Milan, Pa., Ann Louise Waldman of Pittsburgh, and Mary Lynn Waldman of Millersville, Md.; two brothers-in-law, William Waldman of Mansfield, Pa. and Paul Waldman of Tampa, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, and one brother, Buddy Bridges.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 9 a.m. at St. James Church, Lafayette Road, Portsmouth, N.H. Visiting hours will be at the Farrell Funeral Home, 684 State St., Portsmouth on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Burial will be in Holy Family Cemetery in Rockland, Ma. at the convenience of the family.
Alan K. White
Alan K. White, 68, of Stephentown, N.Y., died Monday, Dec. 30, 2002.
Survivors include his wife; two sons and daughters-in-law; six daughters and sons-in-law; a sister; and 14 grandchildren.
Friends may call Friday from noon to 2 p.m. at the Middlebury Baptist Church, Holiday, Pa. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at the church.

Donald E. Miller
Donald E. Miller, 68, of Red Lion, died Saturday, Dec. 28, 2002, at his residence in Windsor Twp. He was the husband of Anna K. (Stitzer) Miller, to whom he was marriage to for 44 years.
Mr. Miller was born March 10, 1934, in Williamsport. He was the son of the late Elwood G. Miller and Dorothy B. (Craw) Miller Quigley.
He was employed as a Harness Repairman for 20 years at Blue Bird Fabrics until he retired in 1996. He was a former social member of the South Williamsport American Legion and member of Freysville United Church of Christ in Red Lion, Pa.
He is survived by two sons, Eugene D. Miller of Red Lion and Richard A. Miller of York; one daughter, Virginia A. Miller of Red Lion; three grandchildren; two brothers, Elwood G. Miller of Williamsport, Robert L. Miller; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Miller.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Allen and Redmond Funeral Home, Inc., 331 Elmira St., Williamsport. Burial will be held at Montoursville Cemetery, Williamsport. There will be a viewing Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Allen and Redmond’s. Officiating the service will be the Rev. Larry Estepp from Emmanuel United Church of Christ (Freysville) in Red Lion, Pa.

Evelyn L. Card
Evelyn L. Card, 92, of Jersey Shore, died Sunday, Dec. 29, 2002, at Manor Care, Jersey Shore. She was born in Slate Run, Pa. on Nov. 18, 1910, the daughter of the late Benjamin T. Wolfe and Dollie B. (Tomb) Wolfe. She retired after working for Sam Brown and the Jersey Shore gas company for a number of years and also from Brodart as a proof reader.
She was an accomplished pianist and played many years for the Methodist Church in Slate Run and at other affairs. She had a copyright on several songs she had written. She had served several terms on the Brown Twp. School Board, where she served as treasurer.
She was predeceased by a great-grandchild, Dustin, in 1993.
She is survived by a daughter, Joan N. Foley of Jersey Shore and a son, George C. Card of Williamsport; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2003, at 1 p.m. at the Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Broad St., Jersey Shore, with the Rev. James Behrens, officiating. There will be visitation at the funeral home from noon until the time of the service. The family will provide the flowers. Interment will take place in Jersey Shore Cemetery.
Isabel G. Hess
Isabel G. Hess, 85, of 1701 Alvin Ave., Williamsport, died Sunday, Dec. 29, 2002, at Manor Care Health Services, North. She was born Sept. 16, 1917, in Montoursville, the daughter of Ralph and Flora Gilbert.
Mrs. Hess was a member of the Montoursville Presbyterian Church, and retired from the Lycoming College Library. She has also worked at the Lycoming County Court House, the PA Department of Highways, and served as a volunteer at the James V. Brown Library, the Konkle Library, and the Divine Providence Hospital. She enjoyed composing and reading poetry. She was a graduate of the former Dickinson Seminary in Williamsport.
She is surviving by a stepdaughter, Mary H. Dill of Williamsport; sister-in-law, Ann Gilbert of Montoursville; seven stepgrandchildren; sixteen stepgreat-grandchildren; and one stepgreat-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Leo Hess.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m., Jan. 1, at the Montoursville Presbyterian Church with the Rev. G. Oliver Wagner officiating. There will be no visitation, and burial will be at the convenience of the family. The family will provide the flowers.

Phyllis Heyman Minkin
Phyllis Heyman Minkin, a former resident of Williamsport, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 29, 2002, in Tampa, Fla. Mrs. Minkin, who was born in Indiana, Pa., moved to Williamsport with her family in 1936. She then moved to Tampa, Fla. in 1984, following the retirement of her husband Leon Minkin, who was the president of Minkin Industries, Inc., a local industrial concern. For many years, Mrs. Minkin was active in the family business.
Mrs. Minkin was a member of Ohev Sholom Congregation, was active in their Sisterhood and served as Treasurer of Hadassah. She was a member of the Williamsport Hospital Auxiliary Board and served as a hospital volunteer for many years. She was also a PTA President at Curtain Junior High School.
In addition to her husband of 60 years, Leon, Mrs. Minkin, is survived by her sister, Elma Rombro of Baltimore, Md.; her four children, Marshall Minkin of Baltimore, Md., David Minkin of Atlanta, Ga., Sandra Minkin Bercu of Tampa, Fla., and Rona Minkin Rund of Baltimore, Md.; 8 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services and burial were in Tampa, Fla.
