Charles "Chuck" Rathbun, 81, of North Center St., Canton, passed away quietly at his home on the afternoon of Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2002.
Funeral services will be held at Morse & Kleese, 40 N. Center St., Canton, on Friday, Feb. 8, from at 2 p.m. Viewing will be from 1-2 p.m. Interment will follow in died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2002, at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
He was a graduate of Bucknell and Drexel Universities and a U.S. Army captain during WWII.
Surviving are two daughters, Dr. Carolyn S. Anderson of Park Ridge, IL and Dr. M. Elizabeth Sandel of Berkeley, CA.
There will be no viewing. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Elizabeth L. Scouten
Elizabeth L. Scouten, 84, of Summerville, SC, formerly of Williamsport, died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2002, in South Carolina.
Her husband, Claude Scouten, preceded her in death in 1983.
She is survived by one daughter, Marilynn Lose, one brother and two sisters.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Wildwood Cemetery.

Raymond Weisenberger
Raymond "Mick" Weisenberger, Sr., of Jerseytown, died Tuesday morning at the Geisinger Medical Center.
He was born July 31, 1929, in Williamsport, the son of the late Lydia Kreger Weisenberger.
He attended Williamsport schools and worked for the Agency on Aging in Bloomsburg.
He was preceded in death by a son, Raymond D. Weisenberger, Jr.; a brother, Clayton Weisenberger; two sisters, Jean Thorne and Frances Newcomer.
He is survived by his wife, the former Shirley Laubach; a son, Kevin Weisenberger of Mainville; four daughters, Kathy A. Coval of Jerseytown, Mrs. Robert (Christy) DiLella of Hughesville, Nina Jo Thomas of Milton and Pamela Weisenberger of Danville; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and two sisters, Harriett Brown of Williamsport and Christine Craw of South Williamsport.
Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Poust-Bunnell Funeral Home, Main St., Millville. Viewing 7-9 p.m. Wednesday.
Clyde W. Douglas
Clyde W. Douglas, 68, of 101 Leader Drive, died Wednesday, March 27, 2002, in Manor Care Nursing Center South, where he had been a resident for the past two years.
He was an Air Force veteran, enjoyed playing baseball and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He was born on Sept. 28, 1933, in Williamsport, a son of Cecil and Leona M. Forney Douglas.
Surviving is a brother, Donald C., Williamsport; a sister, Lois A. Hammons, Indianapolis, IN; 11 nieces and nephews; 19 great-nieces and nephews and 16 great-great-nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Roland, and a sister, Phoebe Brown.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday in Wildwood Cemetery. There will be a visitation from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at Knight-Confer’s, 1914 Memorial Ave.
G. Henry McCormick
G. Henry McCormick, 85, of Ames, IA, a former area resident, died at his winter home in Mesa, AZ, on Wednesday, March 27, 2002.
He was born in Allenwood on Oct. 7, 1916, a son of the late George L. and Clara Mae Sypher McCormick.
He was a 1934 graduate of Watsontown High School, where he served as President of his class, a former owner of McCormick Contracting of Lock Haven, a co-founder of McCormick Dray Line of Muncy and Avis, a former owner of Camelot Estates, which he also developed, a former board member of the Salvation Army and Lock Haven Hospital and a former director of the former Mellon Bank for the Central Region.
He marriage the former Louise M. Martin on Jan. 1, 1984; they recently celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Jay H. of Williamsport, Terry L. of Port Allegany and Wayne E. of Woodland Hills, CA; two step-sons, Brent Anderson of Omaha, NE and Brian Anderson of Ames, IA; five grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; a brother, J. Paul McCormick of Flemington and a sister, Joann Stager of Erie.
Two brothers, Cyrus and Ned, preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at Washington Presbyterian Church in Allenwood, Wednesday, April 3, at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Uniontown Cemetery, Allenwood. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service.
Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall, is in charge of arrangements.

Raymond Osmar Maneval
Raymond Osmar Maneval, 86, formerly of Duboistown, died Wednesday night, March 27, 2002, at Valley View Nursing Center, where he had been a guest since November of 2000.
He was born in South Williamsport on Oct. 4, 1915, a son of Ernest E. and Rebecca Beaghley Maneval, Sr. He was marriage Dec. 24, 1936, to the former Mildred E. Ring, who survives.
For over 34 years, he was employed by Bethlehem Steel Wire Rope Division as a supervisor, retiring in 1975.
He was a member of the First Church of Christ Disciples, Williamsport, and a social member of the LeRoy O. Buck VFW Post 7863 of Duboistown.
Early in his life, he was a noted baseball pitcher in the Old Sunday School League during the 1930s. He also pitched later in the West Branch, Avco and Independent Leagues. in 1953, he was president of the Softball Boosters Association, when the lighted field at Sweet Steel was dedicated.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Larry R. Maneval of Woolrich and Jerry L. Maneval of Powell, WY; one daughter, Connie M. Bilby of South Williamsport; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by three sisters, Goldy Woodward, Helen Litzelman and Ethel Tompkins and one brother, Ernest Elmer Maneval.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 1, 2002, at 1 p.m. from the Maneval Funeral Home, “A Life Celebration Home,” 500 W. Fourth St., Williamsport, with his pastor, Rev. R. Kenneth Weiss, officiating. Interment will be in Wildwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from noon to 1 p.m.
