The first four league games were also easy victories for the Red and Blue. Even Duquesne met defeat here by the score of
41 to 37. But, the next nine games presented a different picture. Both Homestead and Munhall registered victories over the
Tigers. Brentwood, Baldwin, and Washington offered little resistanese to our basketeers- Trinity pulled a big upset on
February 11, when their team defeated the Red and Blue
36 to 34- Incidentally, this was Trinity's only vletory of the season- Duquesne and Homestead easily showed their class by
defeating McKeesport 52 to 39 and 38 to 30. In a hard fought game, McKeesport downed Munhall in the finale, 40 to 34.

The reserves, composed largely of sophomores, played a nioeteen game schedule - The games played by the reserves were
usually preliminary to the varsity contests- The squad, under the coaching of George Krause, of the Vocational School
faculty, won 10 out of 19 games played
