Born Sept. 9, 1936, in Juniata County, she was a daughter of Winifred (Shover) Bennett, Newport, and the late Arthur Bennett. Her husband, Lester Eugene Bowersox, whom she married Nov. 5, 1954, died Nov. 20, 1992.
Also surviving are: children, Jack L. Bowersox, Ickesburg RR1, William E. Bowersox, Liverpool RR2, Doug A. Bowersox, Sherman Dale RR1, David L. Bowersox and Randall A. Bowersox, both of Millerstown RR1, and Sara A. Bowersox, Loganton RR2; brothers, Robert Bennett, Pinellas Park, Fla., K. Barry Bennett, Duncannon, and Dennis Bennett, Liverpool RR1; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by brothers and sisters William Bennett, Wallace Bennett, and Donald R. Bennett, and Nancy Shutt.
She was educated at Newport High School.
She was a homemaker and attended Blessed Hope Bible Church, Liverpool RR2.
She enjoyed sports, NASCAR, reading and crafts.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Blessed Hope Bible Church, Liverpool RR2, with the Rev. Lou N. Mancari officiating. Interment will be held in Hunter's Valley Cemetery, Liverpool RR2.
Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of services Friday at the church.

Robert E. Bowersox Sr.
Born March 14, 1947, in Oakland Mills, he was a son of Bertha Bell Bowersox, McAlisterville, and the late Harry Oscar Bowersox. His wife, Janet (Evans) Bowersox, whom he married June 12, 1971, survives.
Also surviving are: children, Robert E. Bowersox Jr., Port Royal, and Tina L. Linn, Liverpool; brothers and sisters, Harry F. Bowersox, Millerstown RR3, George L. Bowersox, Oakland Mills, and Helen Austin and Ardice A. Singley, both of McAlisterville; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Michael P. Bowersox and David H. Teneyck.
He was employed in the curtain department of Overhead Door, Lewistown, and was a member of the carpenter's union.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Guss Funeral Home, 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown, with the Rev. George Reynolds officiating. Interment will be in Union Memorial Garden, Mifflintown RR4.
Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of services Monday at the funeral home.
Eugene M. Bowsman
Born May 5, 1923, in Lucy's Furnace, Huntingdon County, he was the son of the late Cloyd and Carrie (Rosenberry) Bowsman. His wife, Mary E. Bowsman preceded him in death on Jan. 12, l994.
Surviving are: five sons, Merle E. Bowsman, McClure, James D. Bowsman and Steven R. Bowsman, both of Port Royal, Richard A. Bowsman, Mifflintown, and Cloyd D. Bowsman, Mifflintown RR2; six daughters, Barbara J. Reeder, Port Royal RR2, Marcia K. Folk, Mifflin, Patricia S. Cisney, Blairs Mills, Catherine L. Whistler, Port Royal RR1, Tina M. Walters and Diane R. Anderson, both of Port Royal; two sisters, Kathleen Hower, McClure and Genevieve Eddinger, Torrance, Calif.; one brother, Jack Bowsman, McClure; 40 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Bowsman.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He retired as a truck driver from Aero Trucking.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 298, Mifflintown and the Owls Club of Lewistown.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family, with the Rev. Ronald L. Shupe officiating. Interment will be in the Union Memorial Gardens, Mifflintown RR4, with full military honors conducted by the Juniata County Veterans Council.
There will be no public viewing.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the one's choice.
The Brown Funeral Home, 100 Bridge Street, Mifflintown, is in charge of the arrangements.
Goldie V. Boyer
Born June 1, 1904, in Spruce Hill Township, Juniata County, she was a daughter of the late George Alfred and Elizabeth "Lizzie" (Hockenberry) Lyter. Her husband, Russell A. Boyer, died Nov. 19, 1981.
Surviving are: a daughter, Mrs. Stella E. Foose, Port Royal RR1; a foster daughter, Mrs. Nellie R. Shank, McAlisterville RR1; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.
She was 1923 graduate of Port Royal High School and a graduate of Beckley College, Harrisburg.
She was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Port Royal RR1.
Services will held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Rex Funeral Home, Port Royal, with the Rev. Barbara Inch officiating. Interment will be in New Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Rex Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of services at the funeral home.

M. Louise Boyer
Born Aug. 12, 1932, in Lancaster, she was a daughter of the late George and Mildred (Orris) Weibley. Her husband, Charles Wilson "Cactus" Boyer, whom she married March 17, 1951, died April 1, 1997.
Surviving are: children, Joseph C. Boyer, Glen Rock, and Mrs. Gene (Donna L.) Hillegas, Linglestown; sister, Mrs. Victor (Doris) Miller, Donnelly Mills; and three grandsons.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Galen Weibley, and a sister, Beatrice Rice.
She was a 1950 graduate of Greenwood Joint High School, Millerstown.
She was a homemaker and employed for many years by Miller's Market, Liverpool.
She was a member of the auxiliary of the Liverpool Fire Co., the Hunter's Valley Sportsmen's Association, and the Liverpool Home Association Inc. Post No. 364. She was a judge of elections for Liverpool Township for many years.
She was well-known as an excellent cook, a great organizer, and she loved to travel.
She was an active member of St. John (Barners) Lutheran Church, Liverpool RR1, where she was currently secretary of the church council, involved in the annual apple butter boil festival and assisted the women of the church in various capacities.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at George P. Garman Funeral Home, 606 N. Front St., Liverpool, with the Rev. Peter H. Kuebler officiating. Interment will be in St. John (Barners) Lutheran Cemetery, Liverpool RR1.
Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of services Sunday at the funeral home.

Flo L. Boyle
Surviving are: a daughter, Dolores Preston, Camp Hill; four grandsons; and two great-grandsons.
She was a retired sales clerk for the former Bowmans Department Store and Fellers Department Store of downtown Harrisburg.
She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church of Lemoyne and a former member of First United Methodist Church, Lewistown. She was also a member of Lemoyne Senior Citizens and had been a Red Cross volunteer at Polyclinic Hospital, Harrisburg.
Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Lind Memorial Cemetery, Lewistown.

George C. Brackbill
Born Feb. 25, 1936, in Spruce Hill Township, Juniata County, he was the son of the late Daniel G. and Myrtle E. (Smith) Brackbill. His wife, Zenda (Shearer) Brackbill, whom he married Nov. 24, 1967, survives.
Also surviving are: a son, Daniel George Brackbill, Port Royal RR1; brothers and sisters, Mrs. Lewis (Velma) Ellingsworth, Seanor, Mrs. James (Vera) Harpster, Burnham, Mrs. Bradford (Roberta) Kepner, Hummelstown RR1, Mrs. Henry (Edna) Lauver, Camp Hill, Mrs. William (Anna) Fry, Honey Grove RR1, Mrs. Lowell (Rachel) Weaver, Lancaster, Mildred Hendricks, Mifflintown, Mrs. Myles (Dorene) Adams, Port Royal RR1, Elmer J. Brackbill, Mifflintown RR1, and Earl S. Brackbill, Duncannon.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Heidi Lynn Brackbill, and two brothers, Albert J. and Raymond P. Brackbill.
He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War.
He was a farmer and logger. He was a past Spruce Hill Township Supervisor. He had driven a late-model racecar on various local tracks from 1963 to 1970.
He was a member of Matamoras United Methodist Church and Penn Central Racing Association.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Rex Funeral Home, Port Royal, with the Rev. Frank J. Swartz officiating. Interment will be in New Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal.
Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Graveside military services will be conducted by Juniata County Veterans Council.

Zenda S. Brackbill
Born Sept. 25, 1947, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of Minerva (Zendt) Shearer of Brookline Retirement Village, Mifflintown, and the late Glenn Shearer. Her husband, George C. Brackbill, died May 3, 1999.
She is survived by a son, Daniel George Brackbill, Port Royal RR1.
She was a graduate of Juniata Joint High School, Mifflintown.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Rex Funeral Home, Port Royal, with the Rev. Frank J. Swartz officiating. Interment will be in New Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal.
