Born Sept. 13, 1953, in Lewistown, he was a son of Darl M. and D. Jean (Mahoney) Burdge of Lewistown RR6. His wife, Eileen M. (Keicer) Burdge, survives.
Also surviving are: children, Kristy L. Burdge, McVeytown, Mrs. Russell (Amy) Lozon, Wyandotte, Mich., Mrs. Eric (Kelly) Packard, Milroy, Kimberly J. Burdge and Darl P. Burdge, both at home; brothers and sisters, Mrs. Scott (Cristy) Shaffer, Mexico, Pa., Steve Burdge, Susan Burdge, Ronald Burdge, Mrs. Ken (Sharon) Fultz, David Burdge and Timothy Burdge, all of Lewistown; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother, James Burdge.
He was a lineman foreman for Hinkle & McCoy, retiring on disability in 1990.
He was a member of Brooklyn Hose Company.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Hoenstine Funeral Home, Inc., 75 Logan St., Lewistown, with the Rev. Mark Ruby officiating. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
There will be no public viewing.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2040 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110-9568.
Anna Margaret 'Peg' Burke
Born Aug. 10, 1910, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Carothers) Burns. Her husband, Malvern E. Burke, preceded her in death in 1998.
She is survived by: a daughter, Elsie Moyer of Shermans Dale; a sister, Pauline Davidson of Milroy; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Doris Jean Challenger, a brother, Charles Burns, and a sister, Elizabeth Hartman.
In her early life, she worked at the American Viscose Corp., later becoming a homemaker.
Services were held June 30 in the Perry Village Nursing Home, with the Rev. Jay Eickhoff officiating. Interment was in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
Boyer Funeral Home, New Bloomfield handled funeral arrangements.
Patricia Jo Burke
Born April 2, 1938, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of Josephine A. (Patterson) Holt of 108 Church St., Burnham and the late Calvin B. Holt.
Surviving are: children, Barbara Lee Burke and Robert Holt Burke, both of Lacey, Wash.; brother and sister, Calvin A. Holt, Baltimore, Md. and Mrs. John (Carol Ann) Manbeck, Burnham; and six grandchildren.
She was a 1957 graduate of Chief Logan High School, and a 1960 graduate of Lewistown Hospital School for Nursing.
She was a registered nurse in Lewistown, Larchmont, N.Y., and in Palm Springs, Calif.
She was a member of the Freedom Avenue United Methodist Church, Burnham.
Graveside services will be held at noon Wednesday at the Juniata Memorial Park, with the Rev. Larry K. Lutz officiating.
There will be no public viewing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: the Freedom Avenue United Methodist Church, Freedom Avenue, Burnham, PA 17009 or to SUN Home Health Services Inc., 2 Hudson Ave., Lewistown, PA 17044.

Marian L. Henry Burnite
Born in McVeytown, she was a daughter of the late William A. and Lottie E. (Boyles) Henry. Her husband of 47 years, Clyde W. Burnite, survives.
Also surviving are: a sister, Sarah Lauver, Harrisburg; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, William Albert Murschel; a daughter, Marilyn K. Rash; three brothers; and five sisters.
She was formerly employed at Pepperidge Farm Bakery, Downingtown, and had worked at the Bread Basket at Church and Main streets, Coatesville.
She was a life member of West End Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary in Coatesville.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Wentz Funeral Home, 342 E. Chestnut St., Coatesville. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Coatesville.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of services Friday at the funeral home.

Kathryn Elizabeth "Ip" Burris
Born July 27, 1908, she was a daughter of the late Jerome and Laura (Cavney) Hetrick. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Burris, in 1976.
Surviving are: two daughters, Shirley Leister of Palmetto, Fla. and Mercea Shields of Castro Valley, Calif.; a sister, Martha Frecon of Boyertown; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, John Burris and Lowell "Pete" Burris; two grandsons, Jeremy Burris and Thomas Shields; two sisters, Sarah (Hetrick) Wilson and Louise (Hetrick) Parnell, and brothers, Jerome Hetrick Jr. and Brady Hetrick.
She worked for 23 years as a seamstress at Shellenberger's Shirt Factory.
She was active in Trinity Lutheran Church in McAlisterville, the women's auxiliary of the Fayette Fire Company and the McAlisterville Senior Citizens Center.
In 1931, she and her husband moved to McAlisterville, where she lived until she became a resident of Brookline in Mifflintown in 1993 until her death.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15, at Brookline Manor, Mifflintown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Brookline Manor or the Mifflin-Juniata Area Agency on Aging.
Mary Burris
Born on July 7, 1961, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Herman Ramer and Mary Burris.
Surviving are: four brothers, one sister and two step-sisters.
She was disabled.
A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Ella B. Byler
Born March 3, 1921, in Belleville, she was the daughter of the late Daniel A. and Fanny (Sharp) Yoder. Her husband, Willie B. Byler, died Nov. 10, 1997.
Surviving are: children, John W. Byler, Daniel A. Byler, Loren R. Byler, and Darrel R. Byler, all of Allensville, Glenn W. Byler, Marlin L. Byler, Mrs. Paul (Mary L.) Hostetler, all of Belleville, Jeff A. Byler and Wanda B. Delp, both of Manheim, and Mrs. Wilbur (Esther) Peachey, Winfield; brothers and sisters, Alvin D. Yoder, Lee S. Yoder, Sadie Peachey, Linda Spicher, Marian Yoder, all of Belleville, J. Ben Yoder, McVeytown, and Esther Lewis of Allensville; 22 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Darlis L. Byler, two brothers, and two sisters.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Locust Grove Mennonite Church, Belleville and Secret Friends of Locust Grove.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at the Locust Grove Mennonite Church, West Main Street, Belleville, with ministers Erie Renno officiating. Interment will be in Locust Grove Cemetery, Belleville.
Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services today at the church.

Ephraim C. Byler
Born Nov. 15, 1999, at Lewistown Hospital, he was a son of David M. and Katie B. (Byler) Byler, who survive.
Also surviving are: brothers and sisters, Emanuel J. Byler, Maryellen S. Byler, Raymond D. Byler and Roman M. Byler, all at home; maternal grandparents, Jacob H. and Nannie Byler of Belleville; paternal grandparents, Daniel H. and Mary G. Byler of Belleville; paternal great-grandmother, Sadie Byler of Belleville.
Services will be held at 1 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 28, 1999, at the Sylvanus E. Byler residence in Barrville, with Pastor Jonathan R. Zook officiating.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, 1999, at the David M. Byler residence in Barrville.
Interment will be in the Locust Grove Cemetery in Belleville.
Bohn Funeral Home of Reedsville is in charge of the arrangements.

LEWISTOWN - Paul E. Burdge, 46, of 22 W. Charles St., Lewistown, died of natural causes at 8:47 a.m. Monday, Jan. 3, 2000, in the emergency room of Lewistown Hospital.
NEW BLOOMFIELD - Anna Margaret "Peg" Burke, 88, of New Bloomfield RD2 and formerly of Juniata Terrace and Harrisburg, died Sunday, June 27, 1999, in the Perry Village Nursing Home.
BURNHAM - Patricia Jo Burke, 61, of 424 E. Freedom Ave., Burnham, died at 6:55 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, 1999, at Lewistown Hospital.
COATESVILLE - Marian L. Henry Burnite, 76, of Coatesville, died Tuesday, May 18, 1999, at her home.
MIFFLINTOWN - Kathryn Elizabeth "Ip" Burris, 91, of Mifflintown, died at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, 1999.
MIFFLINTOWN - Mary Burris, 38, of Mifflintown RD4, died at 7:17 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1999, in the Lewistown Hospital Emergency Room from multiple sclerosis.
