Born July 12, 1917, in Hunter's Valley, Buffalo Township, Perry County, she was the daughter of the late William Robert and Carrie (Bair) Stroup. Her husband, the Rev. Walter George Delbaugh, whom she married June 10, 1939, died May 19, 1984.
Surviving are: children, William S. Peters, Liverpool RR1, David L. Delbaugh, Camp Hill, Robert H. Delbaugh, Liverpool, and Mrs. William C. (Hazel E.) Nale, McAlisterville RR2; sisters, Goldie Kell, Mrs. Robert (Leona) Cook, Sylvia Knouse, and Mrs. Chester (Clara) Lowe, all of Liverpool; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Hazel Clouser.
She was schooled in the Buffalo Township rural schools.
She was a homemaker and accomplished seamstress, who enjoyed reading, crocheting, gardening, raising flowers, and solving puzzles.
She was a charter member of the Evangelical Methodist Church, Richfield and it's Sunday school. She was also a member of the Millerstown Fire Company Ambulance League.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the George P. Garman Funeral Home, 606 N. Front St., Liverpool, with the Rev. Roy R. McCarty officiating and the Rev. Peter H. Kuebler assisting. Interment will be in the Liverpool Union Cemetery, Liverpool.
Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Jessie V. Dell
Born Dec. 30, 1914, in Granville Township, Mifflin County, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Jennie (Smith) Knepp. Her husband, Fred M. Dell, died Sept. 29, 1987.
She is survived by sisters, Elsie Knepp, Selinsgrove and Sarah Trego, Rosemont Avenue, Lewistown.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Evangel Baptist Church, where she taught eighth grade Sunday school, was past president of the Missionary Society and a member of the Berean Sunday school class.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Heller-Hoenstine Woodlawn Funeral Home, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with the Rev. Dr. Gregory K. Tyree officiating. Private interment will be in Bowman's Chapel Cemetery, Huntingdon.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Robert Henry Delp
Born in Lancaster, he was a son of Joyce (Landis) Delp of Lititz and the late Henry B. Delp. His wife, Wanda (Byler) Delp, formerly of Belleville, whom he married Sept. 30, 1978, survives.
Also surviving are: children, Joshua R. Delp, Tracy S. Delp, and Sharon M. Delp, all at home; brother and sisters, Michael L. Delp and Mrs. Dennis L. (Nancy J.) Peters, both of Manheim, and Mrs. Timothy S. (Brenda J.) Keller, Lancaster.
He was self-employed in the excavating business and past president of the former Henry B. Delp Inc. of Litiz.
He was a member of East Petersburg Mennonite Church, East Petersburg, where he served as an usher and trustee of the church.
He was an avid hunter and had a family hunting camp in Little Buffalo, Perry County.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at East Petersburg Mennonite Church, 6279 Main St., East Petersburg, with the Rev. Karl E. Steffy, the Rev. Donald W. Good, and the Rev. K. Eugene Forry officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. today and from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the services Wednesday at the church.

Samuel Y. Detweiler Sr.
Born May 24, 1906, in Brady Township, Huntingdon County, he was a son of the late Noah W. and Sarah B. (Yoder) Detweiler. His wife, Lizzie M. (Hostetler) Detweiler, whom he married Jan. 5, 1928, survives.
Also surviving are: children, David H. Detweiler, Belleville, Noah W. Detweiler, Mill Creek, Joseph P. Detweiler, Mrs. Jonas (Sarah B.) Zook, Samuel Y. Detweiler Jr. and Jesse A. Detweiler, all of Allensville; 42 grandchildren; 122 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
He was a farmer and sawmill operator.
He was a member of the Old Order Amish.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the residence of Jesse A. Detweiler, 46 Front Mountain Road, Allensville, with Bishop Shem A. Swarey officiating. Interment will be in Allensville Mennonite and Amish Cemetery.
Friends may call from 1-9 p.m. today at the decedent's residence at 45 Front Mountain Road, Allensville.

Bright E. Dietz
Born May 12, 1922, in Mount Pleasant Mills, he was the son of the late John E. and Alma L. (Lauver) Dietz. His wife, Dorothy M. (Lauver), whom he married Nov. 27, 1943, died March 3, 1994.
Surviving are: children, Debra Cupp, Thompsontown RR1 and David Dietz, Thompsontown; brothers and sisters, Palmer Dietz and Clara Dunn, both of Millerstown RR2, Clyde Dietz, Harrisburg, Elwood Dietz, Millerstown, Eileen Patterson, Sterling, Mich., and Hazel Reich, Selinsgrove RR1; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Donald Dietz in 1944.
He attended Bethlehem School, Millerstown.
He was a United States Army veteran of World War II.
He was employed by Earl Latsha Lumber Company, Harrisburg and later by Conrail, Enola for 34 years, retiring in 1983.
He attended Otterbein United Methodist Church, East Salem.
He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Ronald C. Sheaffer Funeral Home, 16 Westfall St., McAlisterville, with the Rev. Dr. John C. Libert officiating. Interment will follow in the Maze Cemetery, Thompsontown RR1, with full military honors conducted by the Juniata County Veterans Association.
Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the services Wednesday at the funeral home.

Barbara Jo Dillman
She was the daughter of Delores and George Dillman of Lewistown. Her husband, J. David Arnold, survives.
Also surviving are: son, J.G. Andrew Arnold, and a sister, Stacey Frye, New Cumberland.
She was a 1973 graduate of Penn Highlands High School, Lewistown, and received a bachelor's degree from Bloomsburg University and a master's degree from Ohio State University.
She was the coordinator of student services and assessment at SUNY Empire State College, Rochester, from 1995 to 1998, and was enrolled in the Higher Education Doctoral Program at the University of Rochester.
She had also been: interim assistant director of continuing education at St. John Fisher College from December 1994, to June 1995; program director of the Talent Search Program at Clarion University in Clarion; program director of the Student Support Services program at Potsdam College, Potsdam, N.Y.; career counselor at King's College, Wilkes-Barre; and a counselor/outreach coordinator at the Educational Opportunity Center Inc., Wilkes-Barre.
Dillman did volunteer work at Park Road Elementary School and for the American Cancer Society.
A memorial service was held Nov. 20 at the Harold J. Coleman Memorial Chapel, Murphy Hall, St. John Fisher College, Rochester, N. Y.
A lilac garden will be planted in Dillman's memory in the spring of 2000 on the grounds of St. John Fisher College. Memorial contributions for the garden may be made to: St. John Fisher College, Attention Mary Powley, 3690 East Ave., Rochester, N.Y. 14618.
Evelyn Mae Dimm
Born Oct. 28, 1915, in Delaware Township, Juniata County, she was a daughter of the late Charles Olan and Pearl Anna (Rumbaugh) Dimm.
Surviving are: one sister, Ruth E. Dimm, and one brother, C. Richard Dimm, both of Mifflintown RR2; two nephews, one niece, three great-nieces, two great-nephews, and two great-great-nieces.
She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Thompsontown.
The funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Brown Funeral Home, 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown, with the Rev. Claude R. Baublitz officiating. Interment will be in the Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 10:30 a.m. until the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 217, Thompsontown, PA 17094.
William L. Dippery Sr.
Born June 25, 1925, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Max L. and Elizabeth (Jones) Dippery. His wife, Madeline M. (Pry) Dippery, whom he married July 26, 1944, survives.
Also surviving are: children, Barry Lynn Dippery Sr., Harrisburg, Robert A. Dippery Sr., Tempe, Ariz., Mrs. Larry (Darlene) Bender, Chandler, Ariz, and William L. Dippery Jr., Harrisburg; sister, Mrs. Warren (Doris) Fowler, Lewistown RR3; brother, Joseph Dippery, Westminister, Md.; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren..
He was preceded in death by a sister, Lillian Greenaway.
He was a United States Army veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict.
He was a welder by profession having been employed by Bethlehem Steel, Steelton.
He was a member of the National Rifle Association, V.F.W. Post 710, Steelton, and the American Preparedness Defense Association.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Juniata Memorial Park, Lewistown, with the Rev. Michael Brossman officiating. Military rites will be conducted by V.F.W. Post 7011, Lewistown.
There will be no public viewing.

MANHEIM - Robert Henry Delp, 41, of 841 Fruitville Pike, Manheim, died Sunday, April 18, 1999, at his residence after a 2 1/2 year battle with cancer.
