Born, Dec. 18, 1912, in Burnham, she was a daughter of the late S. Carl and D. Mae (Hubler) Hetrick. Her husband, Albert Clinton Drake, died Dec. 19, 1966.
Surviving are: daughters, Mrs. Charles (Miriam) Dalby and Mrs. Marlin (Carolyn) Kauffman, both of Reedsville; a brother, G. Earnest Hetrick, Lewistown; four grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by a son, Dehaven Scott Drake on Aug. 25, 1961, and a brother and sister, Donald C. Hetrick and Irene M. Winegardner.
She was a 1931 graduate of Reedsville High School, and a graduate of Thompson Business School, York.
She worked for the Girl Scouts and the Pennsylvania Fire Academy, and retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare.
She was the secretary of Sunday schools and a member of Reedsville Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she was a member of the Builders Class, the Altar Guild and a choir member for more than 50 years. She was also a former member of the Lewistown Business and Professional Women, the Reedsville Alumni Association, Community Concert Association, Stone Arch Players, the Retirees ACTWU, and was also a hospice volunteer.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Reedsville Evangelical Lutheran Church, 200 E. Logan St., Reedsville, with the Rev. Kenneth Longfield officiating. Interment will be in Church Hill Cemetery, Reedsville.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Bohn Funeral Home, Reedsville.

Abigail Elizabeth Dressler
Born at 1:01 a.m. Monday, June 21, 1999, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg, she was an infant daughter of Michele Ann Moyer and Todd Michael Dressler of Liverpool RR1.
Also surviving are: a brother, Stephen Todd Dressler, at home; maternal grandfather, Mark R. Moyer, Liverpool RR1; paternal grandparents, James G. and Debra S. Dressler, McAlisterville RR2; maternal great-grandmother, Cleta (Heavner) Stauffer, Selinsgrove RR1; and paternal great-grandparents, Simon and Janet Dressler, McAlisterville RR1.
She was preceded in death by maternal grandmother Estella S. "Stella" Moyer; maternal great-grandfather, J. Walter Stauffer; and paternal great-grandparents, Arol and Dorothy Spade.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Stony Run Mission Church, Richfield RR1, with the Rev. James A. Neimond Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Orchard Hills Cemetery & Memorial Park, Shamokin Dam.
Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of services Thursday at the church.

Cora Alice Dressler
Born Dec. 31, 1913, in Snyder County, she was the daughter of the late William and Annie Elizabeth (Snyder) Troup. Her husband, Herman George Dressler, whom she married on July 28, 1934 survives.
Also surviving are: a son and two daughters, Wayne E. Dressler, Thompsontown RR1, Mrs. Terrence R.(Irene L.) Klock of Bloomsburg, with whom Mr. and Mrs. Dressler lived, and Mrs. Russell R. "Pappy" (Nancy E.) Stroup of McAlisterville RR1, three sisters, Mrs. Richard (Anna) Hahn and Dora Fisher, both of Millerstown RR and Mary Sanders of Mount Pleasant Mills RR2; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles, Samuel, John and Frank Troup; one sister who died in infancy; one grandson, Timothy E. Stroup on Aug. 11, 1983, and one great-grandson, Zachary Maneval in 1998.
She was educated in the Snyder County rural schools.
She retired in 1975 from the Selinsgrove Center, where she was employed in the dietary department for over 12 years. She had previously been employed at various shirt factories in the Snyder County area.
She was an active member of the Aline United Methodist Church, Mount Pleasant Mills RR1, where she served as president of the Willing Workers. She was a member of the Ladies Prayer Breakfast, served as chairman of the Prayer Chain, and was also a member of the Secret Sister Group of the church.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Aline United Methodist Church, with Pastor James E. Lewis officiating. Interment will be at the Aline Untied Methodist Church Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Friday at the church.

Janet A. Dressler
Born June 14, 1928, in McAlisterville, she was a daughter of the late Charles E. and Laura E. (Smith) Varner. Her husband, Simon R. Dressler, whom she married March 27, 1948, survives.
Also surviving are: three sons, Ronald S. Dressler, Cocolamus; Gary R. Dressler, Richfield, and James S. Dressler, McAlisterville; brothers and sister, Richard L. Varner, Mount Pleasant Mills, Carl E. Varner, New Columbia, and Patricia A. Yeater, McAlisterville; 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Roy E. Varner, and a great-granddaughter, Abigail Dressler.
She attened Liberty Elementary School, McAlisterville, and graduated from Fayette High School, McAlisterville, in 1946.
She was employed as a seamstress at Lyon Fashions, McAlisterville, for 38 years until her retirement in July 1992.
She was a member of the Pleasant Valley Chapel, Mount Pleasant Mills, where she taught Sunday School and served on the missions board.
She enjoyed flower gardening, sewing, traveling, taking walks, riding bicycle and crafts.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Pleasant Valley Chapel, Mount Pleasant Mills, with Pastor Enos Shelley and the Rev. Carl E. Varner officiating. Interment will be in Goodwill Cemetery, McAlisterville RR1.
Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. Monday until the time of services at the church.

Leroy A. Dressler
Born Nov. 21, 1919, in Delaware Township, Juniata County, he was the son of the late Lehman and Anna M. (Losch) Dressler. His wife, Florence (Rusho) Dressler, whom he married July 17, 1942, died Feb. 6, 1986. His companion of nine years, Anna Mae Sheaffer of Newport, survives.
Also surviving are: children, Duval D. Dressler, Mechanicsburg, Lowell L. Dressler and Gloria J. Kepner, both of Port Royal RR1; 21 half-sisters and brothers; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Leroy A. Dressler Jr. at birth; and stepmother, Bertha Pfaff.
He attended Crossroads Grammar School, Delaware Township.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, having served in the 93rd Evac Hospital Unit overseas, and he earned seven campaign medals.
He worked at the Hawstone Brick Refractories, Lewistown, as an oven tender. He then worked as a master block, brick and stone mason throughout the U.S. on union construction. He had been employed by W.L. Haubert Construction and John Groninger Construction, both in Mexico, Pa. He retired on disability in 1972.
He was Methodist by faith.
He was active in fraternal and service organizations including the VFW Post 5049 in Millerstown, where he was past commander; VFW Post 34 in Newport, where he was recently awarded life membership; Moose Lodge 925 in Millerstown, where he was past governor and current trustee and a member of the Moose 25 Club; Moose Lodge 41, Keystone; the American Legion Post 177 in Newport; and the Newport Social Order of Owls S-285.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Ronald C. Sheaffer Funeral Home, 16 Westfall St., McAlisterville, with the Rev. Frank J. Swartz officiating. Interment will be in the Maze Cemetery, Thompsontown, where full military honors will be conducted by the Juniata County Veteran Association.
Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, where family will be present from 7-9 p.m.

Linda A. Dressler
Born July 2, 1949, in Harrisburg, she was a daughter of Clarence Hibbs, Mount Pleasant Mills, and the late Vern (Chubb) Hibbs. Her husband Glenn T. Dressler, whom she married Feb. 28, 1971, survives.
Also surviving are: sons and daughter, Kevin A. Dressler, Arizona, and Curt A. Dressler, Cocolamus, and Mrs. Matt (Christy) Coder, Mifflintown; and sister and brother, Judy Arnold, Millerstown and Gerald Hibbs, Richfield.
She was educated in the Juniata County schools.
She was employed by Maple Lawn Associates, Cocolamus, and the New Cumberland Army Depot. She was also a substitute teacher in the Juniata County School District until her retirement because of ill health.
She was member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Millerstown RR2, and its Women's Guild.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Peter's United Church of Christ near Knousetown with Pastor Britton F. Stimeling and Pastor Jerry R. O'Connell officiating. Interment will be in the church Cemetery.
There will be no viewing, but friends may call 7-9 p.m. Sunday at George P. Garman Funeral Home Inc. in Mount Pleasant Mills.

Virginia V. Dressler
Born Feb. 12, 1928, in Mifflin, she was a daughter of the late Ira D. and Charlotte (Noel) VanScyoc. Her husband, Carl G. Dressler, whom she married Nov. 15, 1946, survives.
Also surviving are: children, Mrs. Donald (Sylvia) Clouser, Mifflintown RR3 and Mrs. Harry (Jennifer) Heikes, Mifflin; brother, Robert VanScyoc, Bunkertown; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Ira VanScyoc.
She was a caseworker/supervisor with the Juniata County Department of Public Assistance, retiring in 1981.
She was a 1945 graduate of Juniata Joint High School and also attended Penn State University.
She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Mifflintown, where she was involved with the Ever Ready Sunday School Class and was captain of the prayer chain for many years. She was also a member of the Mifflin Chapter No. 260 Order of the Eastern Star and the Pennsylvania State Employee Union.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Messiah Lutheran Church, Mifflintown, with the Rev. Anna Ritter and the Rev. Douglas Compton officiating. Interment will be in the Presbyterian Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. today at the Guss Funeral Home, 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown, where an Eastern Star service will be held at 8:45 p.m. Friends may also call from 1 p.m. until the time of the services Tuesday.

Frank Dudick
Born May 30, 1920, in Yeagertown, he was a son of the late George and Rosie (Kutz) Dudick. His wife, Dorothy Marie Dudick, died in 1990.
Surviving are: children, Danny Dudick, Lewistown, and Mrs. Earl (Ann) Jones, Liverpool; brothers and sister, George Dudick, Maryland, Anthony Dudick, New Jersey, and Ann Heckman, Centre Hall; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by five brothers.
He was a United States Army veteran of World War II.
He was a painter and a member of Painter Union 409.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Barr Funeral Home, 120 Logan St., Lewistown, with the Rev. Gerald Krum officiating. Interment will be private with military honors provided by VFW Post 7011, Lewistown.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of services Saturday at the funeral home.

LIVERPOOL - Abigail Elizabeth Dressler died at 5:30 p.m. Monday, June 21, 1999, at Hershey Medical Center shortly after birth.
