Born Sept. 28, 1921, in Gap, he was the son of the late J. Ralph and Elsie T. (Trout) Eby. His wife, Irene K. (Kramer) Eby, whom he married June 16, 1984, survives.
Also surviving are: a daughter, Elsie M. Creasy, Coatsville; two stepdaughters, Kathy Nankivell, Millerstown and Susan Lukens, McAlisterville; four brothers, G. Robert Eby, Gap, Raymond L. Eby, Lancaster, William L. Eby, Pots Nets, Del., and Wendel R. Eby, Mountville; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Olive (Hall) Eby; a stepson, William Houser; a brother, Donald E. Eby; and a sister, Marian L. Longabaugh.
He attended Gap Consolidated and Whitehorse schools.
He served in the United States Army with the 373rd MP Escort Guard Service from 1942 to 1943.
He retired in 1982 after 32 years from Philadelphia Electric Company as a linesman and substation foreman, then moved to Richfield and McAlisterville. Prior to that, he had been employed at Keystone Mushroom Co., Westwood; Brandywine Transportation, West Chester, as a bus driver; Sensenig Bros., Coatsville, as a coal deliverer; and Capital Bakeries, Westwood, as a route delivery man.
He was a member of Richfield Lions Club and the County Line Loafers Association, Richfield. He was an avid traveler.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family, with the Rev. Dr. John C. Libert officiating. Interment will be in Goodwill Cemetery, McAlisterville RR1.
There will be no public viewing.

Russell H. Eby
Born Oct. 11, 1940, in Yeagertown, he was a son of the late Russell L. and Elizabeth (Richard) Eby. His wife, Beverly (Johnson) Eby, whom he married September 1966, survives.
Also surviving are: children, Lee R. Eby, 32 Track Lane, Reedsville and Lisa A. Eby, Lynnwood, Wash.; brother and sister, Earl Eby, North Mann Avenue, Yeagertown and Mrs. Don (Helen) Davis, Terrace Boulevard, Lewistown; and one grandchild.
He served in the United States Army from 1963-1965.
He was employed by Standard Steel in the melt shop for 14 years.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Heller-Hoenstine Burnham Funeral Home, 108 First Ave., Burnham, with the Rev. Jacob T. Traxler officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Rock Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Arla M. Edmiston
Born Nov. 6, 1924, in McClure, she was a daughter of the late William and Esther (Baker) Kline. Her husband, Corbin A. Edmiston, whom she married Jan. 11, 1944, survives.
Also surviving are: a son, Donald E. Edmiston; a brother, Stanford Kline, McClure RR2; and one grandson.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Monroe Kline.
She retired from Baker Store Company in 1989. She had also worked at the Standard Shirt Factory, the Mohawk Shirt Factory, the former American Viscose, and the former Kline's Store.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she had been a member of the ELCA and helped the Tuesday Quilters. She was also a member of the ladies auxiliary of McClure Fire Company.
She enjoyed gardening and flowers.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Phil Thorsen officiating. Interment will be in Black Oak Ridge Cemetery, McClure RR2.
Friends may call from 8:30 a.m. until the time of the service Thursday at the church.

Joseph A. Edmiston
Born Aug. 30, 1915, in Derry Township, Mifflin County, he was a son of the late Lewis C. and Clara Esther (Richard) Edmiston. His first wife, Betty M. (Rush) Edmiston, died July 7, 1973. His second wife, Florence A. (Heimbach) Knepp Edmiston, survives.
Also surviving are: children, R. Lynn Edmiston, North Little Rock, Ark., and Rick L. Edmiston, 1846 Red Lion Drive, State College; stepchildren, Thomas H. Knepp and Mrs. Dennis (Nancy L.) Rhodes, both of McClure, and Dan R. Knepp, Lewistown; brother and sisters, Wilbur L. "Jack' Edmiston, Rehrersburg, Mabel R. Edmiston, Mildred P. Hartley, and Lois O. Watt, all of Lewistown; nine grandchildren and one great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, S. Richard Edmiston and Norman Edmiston.
He was a 1933 graduate of Yeagertown High School.
He was a United States Navy veteran of World War II, having served as a Hospital Apprentice First Class.
He was a U.S. postal worker and served as a clerk for 20 years, a rural carrier for 14 years, retiring Dec. 30, 1976. Early in life, he worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad.
He was a member of Maitland Church of the Brethren, was on the deacon board of the church, and was a committee member for Child Evangelism Fellowship. He was also a member of the Fort Granville Grange and the Pennsylvania Rural Letter Carriers Retirement Association.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Maitland Church of the Brethren, with the Rev. Charles M. Eldredge officiating. Interment will be in Juniata Memorial Park, where graveside military rites will be conducted by VFW Post 7011, Lewistown.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Friday at Heller-Hoenstine Woodlawn Funeral Home, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown.

Debra A. Edwards
Born June 3, 1953, in Allensville, she was a daughter of Richard L. and Laura K. (Crownover) Yoder of 37 El Ray St., Allensville. Her husband, James H. Edwards of 97 Liberty Lane, Reedsville, survives.
She is also survived by a brother, Dennis R. Yoder, Allensville.
She was a graduate of Penn Highlands High School.
She was a member of Grace Covenant Church, Lewistown, and the Humane Society.
She was a cashier at Giant Food Stores, Burnham.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bohn Funeral Home, 55 N. Main St., Reedsville, with the Rev. Danny R. Neff officiating.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Marie M. Ehlman
Born March 22, 1906, in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Anna (Griesel) Mayer. Her husband, Luther Ehlman, died March 17, 1998.
She was the last of her immediate family, having been preceded in death by two brothers.
She was a retired clerk for the Hibbert Printing Company, Trenton, N. J.
She was a member of Messiah Village Brethren in Christ Church.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Messiah Village Brethren in Christ Church, Mechanicsburg, with Pastor Janet Peifer officiating. Interment will be in Buffalo Cemetery, Saville Township, Perry County.
Friends may call from noon until the time of services Saturday at the church.

Mary Ann Ehrenzeller
Born March 23, 1916, in Perry County, she was a daughter of the late George and Florence (Cooney) Kuhn. Her husband, Roy Ehrenzeller, died in 1975.
Surviving are: brothers and sisters, Clyde W. Kuhn and Mrs. Robert (Dorothy) Launt, both of Lockport Road, Lewistown, Roy Kuhn, Mechanicsburg, Harold Kuhn, Fairfield, Conn., and Mrs. Frank (Caroline) Romig, Maitland Road, Lewistown.
She was preceded in death by brother and sisters, Raymond Kuhn, Gladys Klinger, Marjorie Peterson, and Elsie Puskas.
She was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict, having served in the United States Army.
She was a graduate of Carlisle Commercial College.
She was a secretary for the Department of Public Assistance, Carlisle, for state government offices in Harrisburg, and for St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Lewistown.
She was a member of the Lake Park United Methodist Church, Lewistown.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family with the Rev. William Kuhn officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Blain.
Heller-Hoenstine Woodlawn Funeral Home, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, is in charge of arrangements.
Phyllis J. Eichelberger
Born in McClure, she was a daughter of the late James and Myrtie (Wagner) Krick. Her husband, Leon Eichelberger, survives.
Also surviving are: a son, Gene Eichelberger, Avalon, NJ; daughters, Janice Robbins, Millville, NJ and Gloria Riviera, Paden, OK; twin sister, Gladys Bowersox, McClure; sisters, Marion Specht, West Milton and Ruth Mattern, Lewistown; brothers, Carl Krick, McClure and Donald Krick, Langhorne; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was retired from General Machine, Millville, NJ.
She was a member of the Daughters of America and Port Norris Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Hoffman Funeral Homes, 2507 High St., Port Norris, NJ. Interment will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Millville, NJ.
Friends may call noon-1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
