Born Jan. 7, 1919, in Yeagertown, she was the daughter of the late George M. and Anna (Wyland) Ferguson. Her husband, William A. Frank Sr., died Oct. 16, 1979.
Surviving are: children, Mrs. Stanley (Linda) Goss, 1523 Snook Road, McClure, Donna Lee Frank, 124 N. Main St., Yeagertown, William A. Frank Jr., 347 Walnut St., Belleville, Mrs. George (Dorene) Filson, 62 Spanogle Ave., Lewistown, and Mrs. Alfred (Darlene) Elder, 15 N. Main St., Yeagertown; sisters, Mrs. Merle (Flora) McCardle, Yeagertown, Vivian Johnson, Potters Mills, Mary F. Hess, Belleville, and Mrs. Warren (Janet) Hess, Hustontown; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, four sisters, a half-brother, and a half-sister.
She was a homemaker, and co-owner of Frank's Snow Kone Concession at the Grange Fair, Centre Hall.
She was a member of Holy Communion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Yeagertown.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Heller-Hoenstine Burnham Funeral Home, 108 First Ave., Burnham, with the Rev. Philip C. Tundel officiating. Interment will be in Church Hill Cemetery, Reedsville.
Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Foster S. 'Chubb' Frankhouser Jr.
Born Feb. 8, 1930, in Barrville, he was the son of the late Marian Ruth (Sweitzer) and Foster S. Frankhouser Sr. His wife, Phyllis M. (Fultz) Frankhouser, whom he married Dec. 4, 1953, survives.
Also surviving are: daughters, Debra L. Warntz, Lewistown and Donna L. Hassinger, New Lancaster Valley; brothers, Sherwood Frankhouser, Belleville and Dallas M. Frankhouser, Barrville; and three grandchildren.
He was a 1948 graduate of Reedsville High School.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He worked for 35 years at Overhead Door, Lewistown and retired from Penn State University after seven years of service.
He attended St. Mark's United Methodist Church, Havice Valley.
He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 143, Lewistown, the Moose Legion 41, the Belleville VFW 5935, and the Indian Valley Warrior Club. He was also a life member of the City, Hook and Ladder Fire Co., and was a great supporter of the Indian Valley Girls Basketball Team.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Bohn Funeral Home, Reedsville, with the Rev. L. Ed Moore and Marshall Deckard officiating. Interment will be in Church Hill Cemetery, Reedsville.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Thelma P. 'Peg' Franklin
Born March 27, 1928, in Reedsville, she was a daughter of the late William Franklin and Bessie (Specht) Fultz. Her husband, William G. Franklin, died Dec. 11, 1985.
Surviving are: daughters, Mrs. Russell (Connie) Harlon Jr., 144 Klondike Drive, Lewistown and Bonnie Lou Franklin, 143 Klondike Drive, Lewistown; two grandsons and two great-grandchildren.
She was the last of her immediate family.
She worked as a dietary aid at Lewistown Hospital for 28 years, retiring in 1990.
She was a member of the Salvation Army and the ladies auxiliary of the Brooklyn Hose Co.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Hoenstine Funeral Home Inc., 75 Logan St., Lewistown, with Captain Eddie Purvis officiating. Interment will be in Birch Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
John A. Fraser
Born April 19, 1920, in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late John and Martha (Ellis) Fraser. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Rachel G. (Rowell) Fraser. His wife, Gladys V. (Hockenberry) Hannon of 301 King Lane, Belleville, survives.
Also surviving are: children, Judith K. Wolff Hy, Lakewood, Colo., Jacqueline Gasbarra, Westminster, Colo., John C. Fraser, Chicago, Ill.; stepchildren, Ray B. Hannon, Oakdale, Gerna L. Shade, Blair P. Hannon and Rickie L. Hannon, all of Lewistown, and Wayne E. Hannon, Burnham; three grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren and 10 step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, George J. Fraser.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict.
He was a supervisor for the Pennsylvania Railroad for more than 40 years, retiring in 1979.
He was a Methodist by faith and attended St. Mark's Episcopal Church.
He was a member of Bristol Lodge F&AM.
Services will be held at noon Sunday at the Heller-Hoenstine Burnham Funeral Home, 108 First Ave., Burnham, with the Rev. Derald Stump officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Gardens of Laurel, Laurel, Miss..
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Harold A. Fredd Sr.
Born Nov. 20, 1923, in Modena, he was a son of the late Harold E. and Annabelle (McGinnis) Fredd. His wife, Donna (Houser) Fredd, whom he married in 1962, survives.
Also surviving are: children, Jay Michael Fredd, Allentown, Harold A. Fredd Jr., Wisconsin, and Mrs. Gary (Joanna) Wolfe, Lewistown; and seven grandchildren.
He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II.
He retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Resources.
He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Burnham.
Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Burnham, with the Rev. Clyde B. Singh officiating. Interment will be private.
There will be no public viewing.

Connie L. Fredericks
Born Oct. 9, 1939, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of Lena (Simpkins) Rager of Yeagertown and the late Ray Rager. Her husband, Harry G. Fredericks Jr. of Yeagertown, whom she married April 19, 1954, survives.
Also surviving are: children, Mrs. William (Kathy) Pidgeon, Edgley, Michael G. Fredericks Sr., Levittown, Mrs. Dennis (Patti) Weyant and Harry G. Fredericks III, Yeagertown; and 10 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
She was a cold prep person for Chi-Chi's Restaurant in Langhorne for 10 years, retiring due to disability.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the mausoleum of Juniata Memorial Park, with the Rev. William Pidgeon officiating.
There will be no public viewing.

Charles D. 'Chick' Free
Born April 27, 1918, in Mapleton, he was the son of the late Harry and Edna (Smith) Free. His wife, Ruthe E. (Dearing) Free, whom he married Oct. 9, 1937, in Cumberland, Md., died Nov. 10, 1984.
Surviving are: children, Mrs. John (Cynthia) Montgomery, Havelock, N.C., Michael D. Free, Lake Worth, Fla., and Andrew D. Free, Saskatchewan, Canada; a sister, Jane Smith, Coalport; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Royer Smith, Helen Logan, Catherine Maxton, John Smith and Paul Smith.
He was a 1936 graduate of Mount Union High School.
He was a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II and served in both the North Atlantic and South Pacific Theatres of Operations.
He was employed by B.W. Reeder Hardware, Mount Union; the American Viscose, Lewistown; as a security guard at Elco Corporation, Huntingdon; and as a crane operator for the Pennsylvania Railroad.
He was a member of the Mapleton Presbyterian Church.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Robert D. Heath Funeral Home, Mount Union, with the Rev. Robert Walsh officiating. Interment will be in the Bowmans Chapel Cemetery, Mapleton RR1.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. until the time of the services Sunday at the funeral home.
Carl Joseph Freed
Born Feb. 1, 1930, in Naginey, he was a son of the late Joseph and Flora May (Stimely) Freed.
Surviving are: sister and brother, Abodale McNitt, Valley View, Belleville, and John David Freed, Reedsville; and stepbrother, John Estright, Dillsburg.
He was preceded in death by brothers, C. Ellsworth Freed in 1968, Richard G. Freed in 1985, and Frank L. Freed in 1988; and stepmother, Sarah (Estright) Freed.
He was a 1949 graduate of Reedsville High School.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He had worked at F.W. Woolworth, Lewistown; Bethlehem Steel, Johnstown; and at New Holland in the production control department, retiring in 1991 after 27 years of service.
He was a member of East Kishacoquillas Presbyterian Church in Reedsville, the Free and Accepted Masons of McVeytown, and the Lewistown Royal Arts Chapter of the Lewistown Commandery.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Bohn Funeral Home, Reedsville, with the Rev. Alice Meloy and the Rev. Charles McGaha officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Milroy.

MILROY - Foster S. "Chubb" Frankhouser Jr., 69, of 158 College Ave., Milroy, died at 8:15 p.m. Friday in the emergency room of the Lewistown Hospital.
LEWISTOWN - Thelma P. "Peg" Franklin, 71, of 143 Klondike Drive, Lewistown, died at 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 20, 2000, at her residence.
BELLEVILLE - John A. Fraser, 79, of 301 King Lane, Belleville, died at 3:21 a.m. Thursday, June 10, 1999, at Lewistown Hospital.
BURNHAM - Harold A. Fredd Sr., 75, 104 Fifth Ave., Burnham, died at 6:17 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19, 1999, at his residence.
YEAGERTOWN - Connie L. Fredericks, 59, of 10 Weyant Drive, Yeagertown, died at 10:15 a.m. Saturday, July 17, 1999, at the Locust Grove Retirement Village, Mifflintown.
LEWISTOWN - Charles D. "Chick" Free, 81, a resident of Beverly Healthcare-William Penn, Lewistown, formerly of Church and Reservoir streets, Mapleton, died at 1:48 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 19, 1999, at the nursing home.
REEDSVILLE - Carl Joseph Freed, 69, a resident at Outlook Pointe Commons, Reedsville died at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28, 1999, at the Commons.
