Born July 30, 1937, in Reedsville, she was a daughter of the late Jesse Alexander and Bertha (Fike) Alexander Kauffman. Her husband, Gene Gilbert, whom she married in 1959, survives.
Also surviving are: daughters, Mrs. Douglas (Cheryl) Woodcock, Thompsontown and Mrs. Robert (Sandy) Cross, Burnham; a brother, Jesse Alexander, Lewistown; and four grandchildren.
She was employed as a secretary for Yeagertown United Methodist Church and Rhodes Memorial United Methodist Church.
She attended Bible Baptist Church, Burnham, and was a member of the AARP and Super Seniors.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Barr Funeral Home, 120 Logan St., Lewistown, with the Rev. John S. Walters officiating. Interment will be in Church Hill Cemetery, Reedsville.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Kenneth P. Gillam
Born Feb. 20, 1923, in McVeytown, he was a son of the late George A. and Florence I. (Dunmire) Gillam. His wife, Doris R. (Conner) Gillam, survives.
Also surviving are: sons, Larry N. Gillam, Bellevue, Neb., Dean C. Gillam, Shrewsbury Mass., and Lee D. Gillam, Bradford; brother and sisters, Nelson Gillam, McVeytown, Dorothy Wheeler, Lewistown, Marjorie Adams, Chambersburg, and June Peters, Alexandria; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Leroy Gillam.
He was a veteran of World War II and served with the U.S. Navy Seebees, and was also a member of the Air Force Reserves.
He had been employed as a quality assurance specialist in defense contract administration for the federal government for 45 years, retiring in 1986. He had also worked for Yardney Electric in Pawcatuck from 1971-1986 and later worked for Big A Auto Parts in Westerly, R.I. from 1986-1999.
He was a member of the Dunn's Corners Community Church Presbyterian, where he was a choir member, an elder and a deacon. He had also been a Boy Scout leader.
He was an avid motorcyclist and enjoyed woodworking and birdwatching.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Dunn's Corners Community Church Presbyterian, Route 1, Westerly, R.I.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: the Dunn's Corners Community Church Presbyterian, Route 1, Westerly, RI; or to the Leukemia Society, Rhode Island Chapter, 75 Sockanossett Road, Cranston, RI 02920; or to the American Heart Association, Rhode Island Affiliate, 40 Broad St., Pawtucket, RI 02860.

Ralph M. 'Bud' Gilson
Born Oct. 2, 1918, in Turbett Township, Juniata County, he was a son of the late Ralph D. and Margaret (Meloy) Gilson. His wife, Verdelma "Vera" (Saunders) Gilson, died June 18, 1990.
Surviving are: children, Ralph M. Gilson, III, Port Royal RR1, Ronald E. Gilson, Shippensburg, Richard W. Gilson, East Salem, and Kathleen S. Gilson, Harrisburg; sisters, Martha Wickersham, West Chester and Dorothy Baker, Port Royal, RR2; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Anna Mary Shull.
He was a 1936 graduate of Port Royal High School and a 1940 graduate of Rising Sun Aircraft School, Philadelphia, and received a FAA license in aircraft inspection and engine mechanics. He was also a 1943 graduate of Fleisher's Technical School for watchmaking. He was a former bass player for "The Keystones" dance band.
He was a retired clerk for PennDOT, Mifflintown.
He was a member of the Port Royal Lutheran Church and former member of the Port Royal Lions Club.
He was a former bass player for "The Keystones" dance band.
Family funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Henry Funeral Home, Honey Grove. Interment will be in the Old Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal.
There will be no public viewing.

Banks O. Gingrich
Born Feb. 21, 1917, in Walker Township, Juniata County, he was a son of the late Roy E. and Louise (Smeigh) Gingrich. His wife, Dorothy M. (Gibbons) Gingrich , died Oct. 2, 1990.
Surviving are: a daughter, Marian K. Russell, Mechanicsburg; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Milton L. Gingrich, on Jan. 4, 1989.
He retired in 1979 as a line foreman from United Telephone Company, Mifflintown.
He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Mifflin.
Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family at Brown Funeral Home, 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown, with the Rev. George S. Reynolds officiating. Interment will be in New Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal RR2.
There will be no viewing.

Mae E. Gingrich
Born March 17, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Guy and Mary (Moist) Beaver. Her husband, John W. Gingrich Sr., whom she married June 3, 1939, survives.
Also surviving are: children, John W. Gingrich Jr., Mary Jane Capriotti, and Susan M. Harpster, all of Burnham; brother and sisters, Jay Mann, Toronto, Ohio, Margaret E. Fultz, Burnham, and Pauline Stuckey, Northumberland; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Mann.
She was a 1938 graduate of Burnham High School.
She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Bible Church.
Graveside services will be held at noon Monday at Juniata Memorial Park, with the Rev. Roger R. Reece officiating.
Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of services Monday at Heller-Hoenstine Burnham Funeral Home, 108 First Ave., Burnham.

Robert V. Givler
Born Feb. 5, 1922, in Tyrone, he was a son of the late Robert E. and Elizabeth (O'Rourke) Givler. His wife, Marian A. (Plummer) Givler, whom he married Feb. 5, 1943, in Pittsburgh, survives.
Also surviving are: two sons, James Kennard Givler, Aberdeen, Md., and Robert Ralph Givler, Tipton; brothers and sister, Francis X. Givler, Hollidaysburg, Gerald M. Givler, Stafford, Va., Jack J. Givler, Port Matilda, and Margaret Ann (Peggy) Burkey, Yeagertown; two grandchildren; and one step-granddaughter.
He was a 1939 graduate of Tyrone High School.
He retired in April 1986 from the Edgemate Division of Westvaco, Tyrone, after 41 years of service.
He was an United States Army veteran of World War II, having served as a technical sergeant with the 860th Bombardment Squadron in the European, African and Middle Eastern theatres.
He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Altoona.
He was also a member of Anderson-Denny Veterans of Foreign Wars, Tyrone; Howard Gardner American Legion, Tyrone; Tyrone Elks Lodge No. 218; Secular Franciscan Order-USA and Our Lady of Mount Carmel Fraternity.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church with Father Frank Scornaienchi officiating. Interment with full military honors will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Tyrone.
Family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Feller Memorial Home, 817 W. Fifteenth St., Tyrone.
Christian Wake services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Helen P. Glenn
Born in Lewistown, she was a daughter of Maybelle Phenicie, Lewistown. Her husband, Milton W. Glenn Jr., survives.
Also surviving are: a son, Milton W. Glenn III, Harrison, N.J.; and a brother, Paul Q. Phenicie, Maryland.
She graduated from Juniata College with a teaching degree, and later received a Master's degree and held a certificate in special education.
She taught in the Margate School System and at the Jewish Community Center, New Jersey, retiring in 1993.
She was a member of United Methodists Women's Club, South Jersey Women's Club in Longport, N.J., and the Down Beach Jaycees Auxiliary.
She loved teaching and was a leading remedial reading teacher in the New Jersey area.
Services and interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Jesse B. Glick
Born Feb. 26, 1908, in Belleville, he was the son of the late Gideon S. and Nannie (Yoder) Glick. His wife, Margaret E. (Heckman) Glick, whom he married June 18, 1939, survives.
Also surviving are: sons, Jesse B. Glick Jr., Hebron, Conn. and John G. Glick, Sarasota, Fla.; brother and sisters, Elam H. Glick, Alma Yoder, and Mrs. Roy (Elsie) Peachey, all of Belleville; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Cora Byler and a brother, Sylvanus Glick.
He had a milk route and was a farmer and raised broilers. He was also a painter for Clayton Hartzler and developed Grandview Heights in Belleville.
He was a member of the Locust Grove Mennonite Church and the Senior Men's Sunday school class. He was the oldest male member of the church and along with his wife, they were the oldest married couple of the church.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Locust Grove Mennonite Church, Belleville, with the Rev. Max Zook, the Rev. Mayard Beitzel and the Rev. Erie Renno officiating. Interment will be in Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Donald E. Baggus Funeral Home, Belleville.
