Born May 14, 1933, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Russell F. and Helen Johnson. His wife of 42 years, Lois (Wray) Johnson, survives.
Also surviving are: children, Michael Johnson, Frisco, Texas., and Mrs. Robert (Debra) McFadyen, Pickerington, Ohio; sister, H. Joann Johnson, Lewistown; and five grandchildren.
He was a 1951 graduate of Lewistown High School and graduated in 1955 from Pennsylvania State University with a BS in civil engineering.
He served as an officer in the U.S. Air Force from 1955-1957 in Moulins, France.
He retired from the Ohio Department of Transportation, Bureau of Bridges, after 32 1/2 years of service. He was also a registered professional engineer with the state of Ohio.
He was a life member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and a life member of the Pennsylvania State Alumni Association.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Schoedinger North Chapel, 5554 Karl Road, Columbus, Ohio, with the Rev. Fred Ketner officiating. Interment will be in Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 3-6 p.m. Sunday at the chapel.

Alice E. Jones
Born April 10, 1903, in Schenectady, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Eugenia (Charland) LeBeau. Her husband, Ray K. Jones, died Sept. 4, 1972.
Surviving are: a daughter, Mrs. Howard (Doris) Turner, 106 Hogan Court, Hot Springs, Ark., formerly of Belleville; sister, Lillian Krug, Schenectady, N.Y.; six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Flossie Narrow.
She was a homemaker and had been employed as a draft printer for General Electric.
She was a former member of the Mifflin County Republican Women of Action and the Woman's Club of Roanoke, Va.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Donald E. Baggus Funeral Home, Belleville, with the Rev. Samuel G. Strohm officiating. Interment will be in Machpelah Cemetery.
Carrie M. Jones
Born Feb. 11, 1908, in Shamokin, she was a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Anne (Keast) Hooper. She was their first child to be born in America after the family's immigration from England. Her husband, Dewey M. Jones, whom she married in 1925, died in 1980.
Surviving are: children, Kenneth L. Jones, Beaver Springs, Percy R. Jones, RR3 Donalsonville, Ga., Paul J. Hones, Morris, Fay J. Zechman, Millmont RR1, and Daun L. Klinger, Middleburg RR4; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by a son, Samuel Wayne Jones, in 1986; a daughter, Doris Jane Jones, in 1935; an stillborn daughter in 1927; a grandson, Ricky Neil Klinger, in 1955; and a great-granddaughter, Christina Ferguson.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting and making afghans.
She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Selinsgrove, and served as an honorary member of the administrative council.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Christ United Methodist Church, Selinsgrove, with the Rev. Larry Leland and the Rev. Mark Shover officiating. Interment will be held at 11:45 a.m. in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Shamokin.
Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Thursday at the Beavertown chapel of Aurand Funeral Homes Inc., 316 W. Market St., Beavertown, where family will be present from 7-9 p.m. Friends may also call at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services Friday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to: the Mission Fund of Christ U.M. Church, Selinsgrove, PA 17870.
S. Turner Jones
Born Sept. 28, 1909, in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Samuel and Mary Allison (Turner) Jones. His wife, Marion L. (Baker) Jones, whom he married Oct. 16, 1965 at Saint Paul Lutheran Church, Allensville, by the Rev. Thomas Kramm, survives.
He was the last of his immediate family.
He attended the Pottsville public schools and graduated from Pottsville High School in 1927. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts, Masters of Arts and Doctorate in Education from New York University.
Early in life, he was a teacher of music and band and chorus director at Juniata College. He also taught at Indiana State Teachers College, Auburn University Auburn, Ala., and was the director for the National Association of Music Teachers for ten years.
He operated Turner Jones-Fine Furniture from 1966 to 1972, and then sold real estate for Schrack Realty.
A member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, he composed and published music for the piano. He was also a member of the Phi Mu Alpha Symphonia Fraternity at New York University.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Saint James Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sixth and Mifflin streets, Huntingdon, with the Rev. Peter J. Naschke officiating. Interment will be in Allensville Presbyterian Cemetery, Menno Township, Mifflin County, Allensville.
There will be no public viewing or visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saint James Evangelical Lutheran Church, Youth Programs, 525 Mifflin St., Huntingdon, PA 16652.

Ezra J. Kanagy
Born May 11, 1922, in Belleville, he was the son of the late Jacob E. and Salina (Peachey) Kanagy. His wife, Lavina D. (Byler) Kanagy, whom he married Nov. 24, 1942, survives.
Also surviving are: children, Mrs. Henry (Hannah) Peight, Somerset, Jacob L. Kanagy, Shreve, Ohio, Ezra B. Kanagy, Belleville, Mrs. Ike (Lavina B.) Swarey and Mrs. Ezra (Leah B.) Peight, both of Rosebush, Mich., Mrs. Jake (Nannie S.) Peight, Lewistown, and Urie D. Kanagy, Bittinger, Md.; brothers and sisters, Urie Kanagy, Hartville, Ohio, John Kanagy, Blackville, S.C., Lee Kanagy and Mrs. Dan (Naomi) Peachey, both of Belleville, Mrs. Sam (Mattie) Yoder and Amelia Kanagy, both of Stuarts Draft, Va.; 55 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a stillborn infant son; a son, Aquila; brothers, Joe, Korie, Jonas, David, Alvin, Norman, and Jacob Kanagy; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was a retired farmer and had been a minister prior to retirement.
He was a member of the Amish Church.
Services will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Kanagy residence, 2801 Centerville Road, Shreve, Ohio, with Vernon Kline officiating. Interment will be in the County Line Cemetery.
Friends may call anytime at the residence.

Noah S. Kanagy Sr.
Born Sept. 6, 1916, in Belleville, he was the son of the late Samuel D. and Jemima K. (Zook) Kanagy. His wife, Leah P. (Yoder) Kanagy, preceded him in death on June 2, 1992.
Surviving are: children, Samuel M. Kanagy, Mill Creek, Menno S. Kanagy, Jersey Shore, Elizabeth R. Peight, Romulus, N.Y., and Stephen N. Kanagy and Noah S. Kanagy Jr., both of Belleville; sisters, Sarah Yoder, Indiana, and Elizabeth Peachey, Belleville; 34 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Moses L. Kanagy.
He had been a farmer and a carpenter.
He was a member of the Old Order Amish.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at the Noah S. Kanagy Jr. residence, 3610 E. Back Mountain Road, Belleville.
Interment will be in Whitehall Amish Cemetery, Belleville.
Friends may call any time after noon Saturday at 65 Purple Martin Lane, Belleville.
Bohn Funeral Home, Reedsville, is in charge of the arrangements.
Kristin Janelle Kantz
Born May 29, 1999, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg, she was a daughter of Annette S. (Lenker) and Dennis L. Kantz, Richfield RR1.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a brother, Bryant Andrew Kantz and a sister, Kassondra Joelle Kantz.
Also surviving are: maternal grandparents, Marvin I. and Joann Lenker, Richfield; paternal grandmother, Carole Kantz Hoffman, Richfield RR1; paternal great-grandfather, Herman Stroup, Richfield RR1, paternal great-grandmother Mildred Kantz, Selinsgrove RR3.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Robert "Bob" Kantz in 1994, paternal great-grandparents, Albert and Hilma (Stroup) Kantz and maternal great-grandparents, Arthur and Beulah Zeiders and John and Joyce Lenker.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Richfield United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Almon D. Baird officiating. Interment will be in the Kantz Family Cemetery, Richfield RR1.
There will be no viewing. Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of service at the church.

Robert M. Karstetter
Born May 19, 1942, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Betty (Karstetter) Gingrich. His wife, Sandra (Staley) Karstetter, whom he married May 19, 1984, survives.
Also surviving are: children, Carl R. Karstetter, Georgia, Richard M. Karstetter, Hawaii, Mrs. Shayne (Shawn) Karstetter Price, Lewistown and Kara M. Karstetter, at home; stepchildren, Mrs. Mark (Pamela) Houtz, Lewistown, Michael D. Clinger, Beaver Springs, Kevin E. Clinger and Edward A. Clinger, both of Lewistown; a sister, Ann Hesser, Mattawana; and 10 grandchildren.
He was a United States Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was a truck driver for Jevic Transportation, retiring on disability in August 1997.
He was a life member of the Brooklyn Hose Company and the Junction Fire Company. He was also a member of the Lewistown Fire Police, Granville Fire Police, Mifflin County Fire Police and the Pennsylvania Fire Police.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hoenstine Funeral Home Inc., 75 Logan St., Lewistown, with the Rev. Darvin C. Donahey and the Rev. Nathan L. Shaffer officiating.
Interment will be in Juniata Memorial Park, Lewistown, where military graveside rites will be conducted by VFW Post 7011, Lewistown.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
