Born Jan. 9, 1913, in Mifflinburg, he was a son of the late Stuart and Blanche (Hendricks) Klose. His wife, Carrie (Felker) Klose, whom he married in 1937, died Dec. 24, 1985.
Surviving are: sons, Rodney E. Klose, Middleburg, and David L. Klose, Carlisle; sisters, Winifred Mowery, Lebanon, and Emma Peterson, Chicago, Ill.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jean L. Kuhns, in 1995, and a brother, Blaine Klose.
He retired in 1980 from the former Kratzer Motors, where he had worked as a parts man for 25 years.
He was a life member of the Kreamer Sportsmens' Club and the April CB Club.
He enjoyed hunting, surfing the Internet, citizens' band radios and driving.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Aurand Funeral Homes Inc, 316 W. Market St., Beavertown, with the Rev. Guy Hockenberry officiating. Interment will be in the Glendale Cemetery, Middleburg.
There will be no evening viewing.

Arthur A. Knepp
Born April 21, 1917, in Decatur Township, he was a son of the late Clarence and Florence (Krebs) Knepp. His wife, O. Josephine "Dode" (Souders) Knepp, preceded him in death.
Surviving are children, Robert B. Knepp, Camp Hill and JoAnn DiFrancisco, Richmond Heights, Ohio; a brother, Earl Knepp, St. Petersburg, Fla.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II.
He was a retired self-employed truck driver. He also had been a terminal manager for Kreamer Brothers Trucking in Everett and worked for Maislin Trans-Con and the former Highway Express.
He was a member of Rhodes Memorial United Methodist Church, Lewistown and a lifetime member of the Everett American Legion Post 8 and Lewistown Elks Lodge 663.
He was an avid golfer and bowler.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Rhodes Memorial United Methodist Church, Lewistown, with the Rev. Thomas B. Morningstar officiating. Interment will be in the New Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal.
Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home, 23rd and Derry streets, Harrisburg and from 10 a.m. until the time of the services Monday at the church.

Georgianne 'Sue' Knepp
Born April 9, 1943, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of George Anastasi and the late Anne (Troutman) Singley. Her husband, Robert C. Knepp, whom she married Nov. 1, 1964, also survives.
Also surviving are: children, Denise Goss and Andrea Knepp, both of Lewistown, Nicole Henry, Sterling, Va.; sister, Cathy Irvin, Elizabethtown, and two grandchildren.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Freedom Avenue United Methodist Church, Burnham.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home Inc., 108 First Ave., Burnham, with the Rev. Larry K. Lutz officiating. Interment will be in Juniata Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Glen A. Knepp
Born April 24, 1926, in Decatur Township, Mifflin County, he was the son of the late Arthur and Rhetta (Arnold) Knepp. His wife, L. Jean (Laub) Knepp, whom he married Dec. 24, 1947, survives.
Also surviving are: children, Mrs. Ronald W. (Glenda J.) Dreese, McAlisterville, Brian G. Knepp, McClure RR1, Randy D. Knepp, Middleburg RR3, and Leon K. Knepp, Beaver Springs RR1; sisters and brother, Phillis Baker, Denver, Pa., Ruth Rhodes, Strodes Mills, Judith Wise and Paul Knepp, both of McClure; eight grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Baker and two brothers, Gerald L. "Simon" Knepp and Larry Knepp.
He was a veteran, having served in the 69th Infantry Division of the US Army during World War II in the European Theater.
In 1980, he retired from the former Beavertown Weaving Mills after 11 years of service. He had also worked for Fisher's Plumbing and Heating, the former White Star Bus Lines, and Lewistown Transportation.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, McClure, where he served on the church council. He was also past president of the McClure Fire Co., served in different offices of the American Legion Post 942, and served on the board of the Heiser-Hoffman VFW Post 5640. He recently received the Citizen of the Year Award from American Legion Post 942.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Phil Thorsen officiating. Interment will be in the McClure Union Cemetery, where full military honors will be conducted by the VFW Post 5640.
Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. today at the McClure Chapel of the Aurand Funeral Home, North Brown Street, McClure, where the family will be present from 7-9 p.m.

Kathy J. Knepp
Born June 20, 1962, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of Shelvia Jean (Johnson) Specht, 67 Parkview Ave., Lewistown and the late James Henry Specht Sr., who died Oct. 6, 1991. Her husband, Donnie A. Knepp of 195 Parkview Ave., Lewistown, whom she married Dec. 18, 1982, survives.
Also surviving are: children, Jason Allen Knepp and Cassie Jo Knepp, both at home; brother and sisters, Kim L. Rothrock and Debra K. Auker, both of Lewistown, and James H. Specht Jr., Burnham.
She was a 1980 graduate of Chief Logan High School.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Bohn Funeral Home, Reedsville, with the Rev. Robert E. Iddings officiating. Interment will be in Church Hill Cemetery, Reedsville.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home.

Patricia Anne 'Patt' Knepp
Born Aug. 22, 1931, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Frederick W. and Ruth Ann (Libby) Shively. Her husband, C. Gilbert Knepp, whom she married May 7, 1948, survives.
Also surviving are: children, Mrs. John (Cynthia) Solt Jr., Yeagertown, and Douglas Shively Knepp, Pine Tree Way, Lancaster; brothers and sisters, Ray Shively, McClure RR, Mrs. Fred (Goldie) Wagner, Barrville, and Wilfred Shively, Lancaster; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was the national sales director for Petra Fashions Inc., Danvers, Mass., for 12 years. She received Sales Director of the Year awards in 1995, 1996, and 1997.
She attended Barrville Mennonite Church and the Bible study of the church. She was also a member of the Order of Amaranth Inc., Tiadoghton Court No. 136 of Jersey Shore, Pa.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at Donald E. Baggus Funeral Home, 217 W. Main St., Belleville, with the Rev. Gerald Peachey officiating. Interment will be in Barrville Mennonite Cemetery.

Robert Elwood Knepp
Born Sept. 23, 1925, in Belleville, he was the son of the late Herman and Edna (Piper) Knepp. His wife of 52 years, Beatrice M. Knepp, survives.
Also surviving are: a son, Daniel Roger Knepp, Franklin, N.C.; one sister and four brothers; and three grandchildren.
He was a U. S. Air Corps veteran of the Korean Conflict and World War II.
He retired as a manager from Publix in Sarasota, Fla.
He was a member of the VFW and BPOE Elks Club in Florida.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. today at the Macon Funeral Home, Franklin, N.C., with reader Aleen Turnaville officiating.

Selma M. Knepp
Born July 31, 1906, in McClure, she was the daughter of the late Jonathan and Carrie (Williams) Rauch. Her husband, Willis H. Knepp, died Feb. 4, 1987.
Surviving are: children, Joy E. Haines and Jack H. Knepp, both of McClure RR1, Judy Weader, Danville, Elrose E. Knepp, McClure RR2, Willis H. Knepp Jr., Paoli Knepp and Gerald E. Knepp, all of Middleburg; 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Pauline Henry, Dorothy Erb, and Melda Amspacker; and a stepbrother, Samuel Bubb.
She worked for the former Standard Shirt Factory for many years, retiring in 1971 in the finishing department.
She was a member of the McClure First United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday school and was superintendent of the children's department.
She enjoyed gardening, flowers and needlework.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the McClure First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Kevin Brophy officiating. Interment will be in the McClure Union Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Sunday at the McClure Chapel of Aurand Funeral Homes, where family will be present from 7-9 p.m.
There will be no viewing at the church.

HARRISBURG - Arthur A. Knepp, 82, of Harrisburg, died Wednesday, March 22, 2000, at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
BURNHAM - Georgianne "Sue" Knepp, 56, of 300 Jaspers Drive, Burnham, died at 4:48 a.m. Friday, Sept. 3, 1999, at her residence.
MCCLURE - Glen A. Knepp, 73, of McClure RR1, died at 10:26 a.m. Friday, May 22, 1999, at the Lewistown Hospital.
LEWISTOWN - Kathy J. Knepp, 36, of 67 Parkview Ave., Lewistown, died of natural causes at 4 p.m. Saturday March 6, 1999, at the Hershey Medical Center.
REEDSVILLE - Patricia Anne "Patt" Knepp, 67, of 383 Barrville Mountain Road, Reedsville, died at 8:40 a.m. Saturday, May 1, 1999, at Lewistown Hospital.
FRANKLIN, N. C. - Robert Elwood Knepp, 74, of Franklin, N.C., died Monday Nov. 1, 1999, at a local hospital in Franklin, N.C.
MIFFLINTOWN - Selma M. Knepp, 93, a resident of Locust Grove Retirement Village, Mifflintown, formerly of McClure, died at 3:05 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13, 1999, at the Lewistown Hospital.
