Born Sept. 10, 1977, in Lewistown, he was a son of John P. and Judith (Walker) Marker of 14 Hopper Lane, Mattawana.
He is survived by brothers, Robert E. Marker, Granville, and Michael C. Marker, Lewistown; and paternal grandparents, James and Alice Marker of Mattawana.
He was employed by Glenco Inc., Lewistown, and formerly for R&S Foods, Lewistown, for three years.
Private services were held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center, P.O. Box 1405, Altoona, PA 16602-2739.
Bohn Funeral Home, Reedsville, was in charge of arrangements.
Bruce E. Markley
Born June 12, 1909, in Yeagertown, he was a son of the late James and Nettie (Sellers) Markley. His wife, Violet L. (Leeper) Markley, whom he married Oct. 3, 1934, died Oct. 28, 1998.
Surviving are: children, James Markley, Westland, Mich. and Mary Ellen O'Donnell, Union, Ohio; sisters, Grace Penepacker, Sunbury. and Helen Crawford, Lewistown; five grand children; and three great-grandchildren.
He was retired from Ford Motor Company, Cincinnati, Ohio.
He was a 50-year member and 32nd degree Mason, member of Providence Lutheran Church, Brookville, Ohio and a former member of Holy Communion Lutheran Church, Yeagertown.
Services were held June 28 at Providence Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Figley officiating. Interment was in Arlington Cemetery, Brookville.
Gilbert-Fellers Funeral Home, Brookville, was in charge of arrangements.
Roberta J. Marks
Born Sept. 4, 1934, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Marjorie F. (Harlan) Hunter. Her husband, Edward H. Marks Sr., died June 16, 1991.
Surviving are: children, Edward H. Marks Jr., Mifflintown RR1, Mrs. James (Marjorie) Fryer, 710 S. Grand St., Lewistown, Mrs. Richard (Ruth Ann) Wagner, 404 S. Brown St., Lewistown, Jeffery L. Marks, Belleville, Roy M. Marks, 505 Woodland Ave., Lewistown, Sandra Solt, Lewistown, Mrs. Kenneth (Tina) Hatter, 542 Woodland Ave., Lewistown; adopted daughter, Mrs. Eugene (Ruth) Liddick, 509 Woodland Ave., Lewistown; 26 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was the last of her immediate family and was preceded in death by an infant son, Anthony Marks and stepfather, Marvin L. Hunter.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Lewistown Moose Lodge 143 and the ladies auxiliary of both the Brooklyn Hose Co. and the East Derry Fire Co.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Heller-Hoenstine Woodlawn Funeral Home, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with the Rev. John S. Walters officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Milroy.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Golden E. Marshall
Born June 16, 1906, she was the daughter of the late Adam A. and Hattie Rebecca (Eoute) Wynn. Her husband, Paul E. Marshall, whom she married May 10, 1925, died May 9, 1975.
Surviving are: a daughter, Lorraine L. Knepp, McClure; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Ira Ray Marshall; son, Palmer E. Marshall on April 4, 1999; daughter, G. Eileen Bierly; sister, Ruth Wynn Clark; and a brother, Ray T. Wynn.
She was a 1923 graduate of Oval High School, Oval.
She, with her husband, owned and operated the former Marshall Funeral Home in McClure from 1931-1948. They then sold church furniture across the Northeast United States for the former Endicott Church Furniture and Winebarger Church Furniture from 1957 till retirement in 1970.
She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, McClure, where she was very active in church organizations, and a life member of the Snyder County Historical Society. She was also a member of the McClure Fire Co. ladies auxiliary, and served as the first president in the early 1930s.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Stanley D. Reep officiating. Interment will be in McClure Union Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at the church.

Palmer E. Marshall
Born Sept. 21, 1925, he was the son of Golden (Wynn) Marshall, a resident of Ohesson Manor, Lewistown and the late Paul E. Marshall. His wife, Victoria (Manny) Marshall of California, survives.
Also surviving are: children, Andrea W. Marshall and Stephen P. Marshall, both of California; and a sister, Lorraine L. Knepp, McClure.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Ira Ray Marshall and a sister, G. Eileen Bierly.
He was U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
He was a graduate of McClure High School and attended Rice University, Houston, Texas.
Earlier in life, he worked for The Grit Publishing Company, Williamsport and for the past 25 years, he owned and operated his own firm, Hank Marshall Marketing, California.
He had been a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, McClure.
Services will be held in California at the convenience of the family.
Hattie-thomas "tommi" Marten
Born May 7, 1920, in Chester, S.C., she was a daughter of the late William H. and Tommie E. (Lewis) MacArthur. Her husband, Orville H. Marten, whom she married in 1966, survives.
Also surviving are: children, Deborah Thomas Reid, Douglassville, Patti Lee Tips, Spring, Texas; stepchildren, Lois R. Richards, Bridgeville, Del., Sandra E. Dawe, State College, Beth M. Marten, Jacksonville, Fla., and O. James Marten, Stanley, N.Y.; a brother, William H. MacArthur Jr., Lakeland, Fla.; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was an A.S.I.D. Interior Designer and owned and operated tommi-Marten Interiors for many years until 1976.
She was an active member of Lewistown Presbyterian Church and Centre Pieces Quilt Guild, Boalsburg.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Heller-Hoenstine Woodlawn Funeral Home, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with the Rev. Robert Zorn officiating. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
There will be no public viewing.

Ethel Mae Martin
Born Sept. 20, 1938, in Gregg Township, Centre County, she was the daughter of the late Willard C. and Stella R. (Lingle) Hassenplug. Her husband, Quentin L. Martin, whom she married in July of 1969, died January of 1986.
Surviving are: children, Kathy R. Smith and Tina L. Hockenberry, both of State College and David A. Boyce, York; sister and brothers, Pearl M. Jones, State College, Sherwood R. Hassenplug, Yeagertown, Larry L. Hassenplug, Warrior's Mark, and Ardell R. Hassenplug, Harrisburg; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Dean Hassenplug and Merill R. Hassen.
She was a 1956 graduate of Gregg Township High School.
She was a homemaker and a former telephone operator in Philadelphia.
She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Spring Mills.
Her hobbies in earlier life were cheerleading, majorettes, basketball, and playing clarinet. She also enjoyed sending cards and letters.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Steven R. Neff Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St., Millheim, with the Rev. Merrill Covalt officiating. Interment will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Spring Mills RR.
Friends may call from noon until the time of the services today at the funeral home.

Elizabeth A. Mast
Born Jan. 31, 2000, in Delaware Township, Juniata County, she was a daughter of Andy and Malinda (Kanagy) Mast of Mifflintown RR2.
Also surviving are: sisters, Mary A. Mast and Ella A. Mast, both at home; grandparents, Jacob and Lena Mast of Doylesburg and Levi and Elizabeth Kanagy of Mifflintown RR2; and great-grandmother, Mary Mast of New Wilmington.
Services will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Andy Mast home, Mifflintown RR2. Interment will be in the Old Order Amish Cemetery, Van Wert.
Friends may call after 9 a.m. today at the Mast home.
The Guss Funeral Home, 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown, is in charge of arrangements.
