Born Dec. 1, 1918, in Huntingdon, he was the son of the late George V. and Ethel (Baumgardner) Miller. His wife, Faye A. (Rickenbaugh) Miller, died in 1991.
Surviving are: children, Ronald J. Shultz, State College and Mrs. Rick (Rhonda) Sweigart, Hershey; brother and sister, Myron Miller, Gaithersburg, Md. and Marie M. Brown, Aldephia, Md.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II, having served in the European Theatre.
He received a bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering from Penn State University.
He worked as an industrial engineer for Standard Steel, Burnham, retiring in 1983.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Lewistown and a life member of the Elks Lodge 663, Lewistown.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Hoenstine Funeral Home Inc., 75 Logan St., Lewistown, with the Rev. Ronald Hoffman officiating. Interment will be in Lind Memorial Cemetery, Lewistown.
Friends may call from noon until the time of the services Saturday at the funeral home.

Mary A. Miller
Born Dec. 16, 1904, in Harrisburg, she was a daughter of the late Tilden H. and Rebecca (Horning) Sheesley. Her husband, Charles K. Miller, preceded her in death.
Surviving are: two nieces, R. Jane Oberholtzer, Edgewater, Fla. and Annette Ward; stepsons, Robert M. Miller, Naples, Fla., and Charles H. Miller, Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.; three step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; one step-great-great-grandchild.
She was the last of her immediate family, having been preceded in death by sisters and brother, Sarah J. Wolfe, Edna M. Jurich, Ethel M. Zimmerman and Cloyd H. Sheesley.
She was a graduate of Lenkanau General Hospital School of Nursing, Philadelphia.
She was employed by the Hershey Industrial School and also served as a private duty nurse for Milton S. Hershey until his death.
She was a member of the Hershey United Brethren Church, Hershey.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the the Brown Funeral Home, 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown, with the Rev. Louise Knotts officiating. Interment will be in the Hershey Cemetery, Hershey.
There will be no viewing or visitation.
Mary Lou Miller
Born March 14, 1938, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of Albert J. and Florine P. (Beers) Miller of 8471 US Highway 522 South, Lewistown.
She was a clerk for the Mifflin County Tax Assessment Office.
She was a member of the Calvary Bible Church, the church choir, and the Berean Sunday School Class of the church. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Lodge 283, Lewistown and the United Steelworker's Union Local 1940.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Heller-Hoenstine Woodlawn Funeral Home, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with the Rev. Roger R. Reese and the Rev. Howard D. Houtz officiating. Interment will be in the Mattawana Cemetery, McVeytown.
Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to: the Building Fund Calvary Bible Church, 301 S. Pine Road, Lewistown, PA 17044.
Odessa 'Dessie' F. Miller
Born Oct. 13, 1923, in Coalport, Clearfield County, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Anissa (Cavaner) Spangle. Her husband, George Miller, died in February 1974.
Surviving are: a daughter, Margaret Ann Kersey, 1708 Biltmore, Lansing, Mich.; brother and sister, James B. Spangle, Quakertown and Phoebe L. Leoras, 149 Orchard Grove Ave., Parkview Terrace, Burnham.
She was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
She worked as a buyer for the Collegiene Shop in Muncie, Ind., retiring in 1974 and later as a buyer for Dank's for 10 years.
She was a member of the Evangel Baptist Church, the Berean Sunday school class, and The Evangelders of the church.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Heller-Hoenstine Woodlawn Funeral Home, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with the Rev. Greg Tyree officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Rock Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Oramae Miller
Born Jan. 11, 1925, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of Mary S. (Fowler) Rhodes, US Highway 522 North, Lewistown and the late Edward J. Rhodes. Her first husband, Charles E. Miller, and her second husband, Jack Harold Miller, preceded her in death.
Surviving are: children, Charles S. Miller Sr. and Edward L. Miller, both of Middletown, Kenneth L. Miller, Gettysburg, Mrs. Barry (Barbara) Reich, McClure, Jack William Miller and Harold T. Miller, both of Lewistown, and Mrs. Ronald (Constance Marie) Earnest, Belleville; brothers and sister, Lester Rhodes, Reedsville, John Rhodes and Harry Rhodes, both of McClure, Donald Rhodes, Crossville, Tenn., and Mrs. Donald (Shirley) Mattern, Milroy; 21 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, James, Raymond and Paul Rhodes and a sister, Martha Rager.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Maitland Church of the Brethren.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Heller-Hoenstine Woodlawn Funeral Home, 200 N. Main St., Lewistown, with the Rev. Charles M. Eldredge officiating. Interment will be in the Alfarata Lutheran Cemetery, Lewistown RR.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Sarah H. 'Sal' Miller
Born July 20, 1907, in Paintersville, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Minnie M. (Goss) Miller.
Surviving are: a son, Charles B. Swank, Thousand Palms, Calif.; a brother, Russell Miller, 114 Delaware Ave., Lewistown; six grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and caregiver, Betty Fleck, Lewistown.
She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Swank and a daughter, Josephine McNickalas.
She was a waitress for Campbell's Diner for 40 years.
She was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Alfarata and the ladies auxiliary of the Loyal Order of the Moose.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Hoenstine Funeral Home Inc., 75 Logan St., Lewistown, with the Rev. Claude Baublitz officiating. Interment will be in the Alfarata Lutheran Cemetery.
Friends may call from 10 a.m until the time of the service Thursday at the funeral home.
Tyler James Miller
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Lind Memorial Cemetery, with the Rev. Ronald Hoffman officiating.
The Barr Funeral Home, 120 Logan St., Lewistown, is in charge of arrangements.
Betty I. Milliken
Born Sept. 26, 1933, in Topeka, Kan., she was a daughter of the late Walter and Lillie (Hankins) Hein. Her husband, James W. Milliken Sr., died Sept. 11, 1978.
She is survived by children, Richard E. Milliken and Randy L. Milliken, both of Port Royal, James W. Milliken Jr., Mifflintown RR4 and Mrs. David (Michelle) Yorks, Mifflintown RR3; brothers and sister, Dale Hein and Wallace Hein, both of Topeka, Kan., and Mrs. Kay (Dorothy) Neiswender, Garland, Texas; two grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and nine step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters.
She was a retired cook and had worked for Bob Evans Restaurant, Mechanicsburg.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Rex Funeral Home, Port Royal, with the Rev. Dennis Thompson officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Walker Township, Juniata County.
There will be no viewing, but the family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

MIFFLINTOWN - Mary A. Miller, 95, a resident of the Brookline Manor and Retirement Village, Mifflintown RR1, formerly of Hershey, died at 3 a.m. Saturday, April 15, 2000, at the manor.
LEWISTOWN - Mary Lou Miller, 61, of 8471 US Highway 522 South, Lewistown, died at noon Thursday, Jan. 6, 2000, at the Lewistown Hospital.
BURNHAM - Odessa "Dessie" F. Miller, 75, of 149 Orchard Grove Ave., Parkview Terrace, Burnham, died at 2:55 a.m. Wednesday, May 26, 1999, at her residence.
LEWISTOWN - Oramae Miller, 74, of 305 S. Pine Road, Lewistown, formerly of Harrisburg, died at 6 p.m. Friday, May 21, 1999, at Beverly Healthcare-William Penn.
MIFFLINTOWN - Sarah H. "Sal" Miller, 91, a resident of Locust Grove Retirement Village, Mifflintown, died at 2:08 a.m. Tuesday, April 13, 1999, at the village.
LEWISTOWN - Tyler James Miller, infant son of Melissa Wagner of Granville and Christopher G. Miller of McVeytown was stillborn at 7:48 p.m. Friday, May 28, 1999, at Lewistown Hospital. Also surviving are: maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert White of Granville and Joseph Wagner of South Main Street, Lewistown, and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Miller of McVeytown.
