Born Nov. 4, 1917 in Walker Township, Juniata County, she was a daughter of the late George and Daisy (Rowe) Shotzberger. Her husband, Charles I. "Penny" Pannabaker, preceded her in death April 25, 1976.
Surviving are a daughter, Susan P. Minick, Newport, and a grandson.
She was the last of her immediate family, having been preceded in death by two sisters, Jessie M. Fultz Shellenberger and Alma Fry.
She was a 1935 graduate of the Mifflintown High School.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Mifflin, and its Sunday School. She served on the Pastor Parish Relations Committee of the church and was formerly the Childrens' Sunday School Superintendent. She was also a charter member of the National Republican Committee and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Crawford-Brubaker VFW Post No. 5863, Mifflintown.
Early in life, she was employed by Schott's Department Store, Mifflintown, before working at Shively's Department Store, Mifflin. She then owned and operated Pannabaker's Magazines and Sundries and Pannabaker's Department Store, both of Mifflin, before working at Zimmie's Diner, and later at Stop 35, Inc., both of Mifflintown.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Trinity United Methodist Church, Mifflin with the Rev. George S. Reynolds officiating. Interment will be in Lower Tuscarora Presbyterian Cemetery, Academia.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the church.

Anita R. Parker
Born Jan. 24, 1917 in Kansas City, Mo., she was a daughter of the late James and Mabel (Erickson) Clutch. Her husband Jack E. Parker, whom she married Dec. 31, 1938, survives at Beverly Healthcare-William Penn.
Also surviving are two sons, Kenneth Parker, Philadelphia, and James Parker, Lindsborg, Kansas, and four grandchildren.
She was the last of her immediate family, having been preceded in death by a brother, James Clutch Jr.
She was a homemaker and a member of Unity Church of Kansas City, Mo.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
There will be no public viewing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Beverly Healthcare-William Penn Nursing Center, 163 Summit Drive, Lewistown, PA 17044.
Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown is in charge of arrangements.
Frank McDowell Parker Jr.
Born May 7, 1913, in Reedsville, he was a son of the late Mabel Taylor (Smith) and Frank McDowell Parker Sr.
Surviving are: brothers and sisters, Dr. Andrew J. Parker, Lewistown, Jane S. Woods, Phoenix, Ariz., Ralph S. Parker, Mifflintown, and Mary E. Sommers, Port Charlotte, Fla.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Albert (Margaret) McMeen Jr.
He was a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy, having served during World War II in the South Pacific.
He was a 1936 graduate of Princeton University.
He was a teacher at Hun Preparatory School, Princeton, N.J., retiring in 1978. He taught Latin and French.
He was a member of East Kishacoquillas Presbyterian Church, Reedsville, Free and Accepted Mason Lodge 203, Lewistown Consistory, and Zembo Shrine, Harrisburg. He was also former vice-president of Retired Teachers Association, Lewistown.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at East Kishacoquillas Presbyterian Church, Reedsville, with the Rev. Charles W. McGaha officiating. Interment will be in Church Hill Cemetery, Reedsville.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. today at Bohn Funeral Home, Reedsville, where masonic services will be held at 8:30 p.m.

T. Thomas 'Moe' Parks
Born Aug. 10, 1931, in Granville Township, he was a son of the late Edgar and Elizabeth (Myers) Parks. His wife, Shirley (Wilson) Parks, whom he married in 1956, survives.
Also surviving are: children, Mrs. Butch (Vickie) Johnson and Mrs. Don (Tracy) Yoder, both of Lewistown, and Mona Bubb, Reedsville; sisters and brother, Agnes McMillin and Eugene Parks, both of Lewistown, and Arlene Solt, Maine; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by an infant son and a brother, E. Charles Parks.
He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He was employed at Hoffman Supply Co., retiring on disability in 1972.
He attended Reedsville United Methodist Church.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Barr Funeral Home, 120 Logan St., Lewistown, with the Rev. Richard Bender officiating. Interment will be in Birch Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Esther Mae Partchey
Born Sept. 17, 1935, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of Lewis Grove, McVeytown, and the late Tillie (Kauffman) Grove. Her husband Richard Partchey, whom she married July 17, 1987, survives.
Also surviving are: daughters, Mrs. Jess (Cheryl) Moser, Mertztown, and Loretta Davis, Strodes Mills; brothers and sisters, Richard and William Grove, both of Lewistown, Samuel Grove, Granville, Mrs. George (Betty) Brown, Longfellow, and Mrs. Gary (Elsie) Weaver, State College; three step-children, Mrs. Todd (Diane) Berube, Florida, Mrs. David (Paula) Vicars, Ore., and Mrs. Tim (Angela) Wolford, Etters; and three grandchildren.
She was a chef at the Holiday Inn for four years and was co-owner of Riverside Trailer Courts, Lewistown.
She was a member of Moose Lodge No. 143, Lewistown.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Barr Funeral Home, 120 Logan St., Lewistown with the Rev. William Fetrow officiating. Interment will be in Juniata Memorial Park, Lewistown.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Jessie F. Partner
Born May 1, 1922, in Nook, Juniata County, she was a daughter of the late John G. and Emma M. (Lebkicher) Foltz. Her husband, Jay W. Partner, died Nov. 8, 1991.
Surviving are: sons, Jay F. Partner, New Bloomfield RR2, Bruce W. Partner, New Windsor, Md., John Scott Partner, Mifflintown, and Mark R. Partner, Port Royal RR2; a sister, Mrs. G. Robert (Betty) Keiser, Mifflin HC 67; and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother, Mary Lou Foltz, Helen B. Clark and John M. Foltz.
She was a homemaker.
She was a former Beale Township tax collector and township secretary and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Nook. She was also a member of the Walnut Grange 776; the National Grange, where she received the 7th degree; the Beale Township Fire Company auxiliary; the Friends of Locust Grove; and a life member of the Juniata County Historical Society.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Nook, with the Rev. Marton Roberson officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Guss Funeral Home, 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown, and from 1 p.m. until the time of services Sunday at the church.

Stavros G. 'Steve' Pascal
Born July 2, 1922, in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late George and Alexandra (Pascaloglou) Pascal. His wife, Berndet (Null) Pascal of University Park Nursing Home, State College, survives.
Also surviving are: sons, George Pascal, Campbellsburg, Ky. and Michael Pascal, Medford, N.Y.; sisters, Mary Baxevan, Bethlehem and Ethel Rosa, Fort Wayne, Ind.
He was a furrier for Schneider and Cohen in New York, N.Y., retiring in 1973 due to disability.
He was Greek Orthodox by faith.
He was a member of the F.W. Black Senior Citizens Center, Lewistown.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Juniata Memorial Park.

Charles R. 'Pete' Patterson
Born Dec. 28, 1922, in Yeagertown, he was a son of the late William H. and Emma Mae (Price) Patterson. His wife, Marjorie A. (Heefner) Patterson, whom he married July 9, 1948, survives.
Also surviving are: children, Mrs. Marcus (Sharon) Hickman, Myrtle Beach, S.C., Mrs. Curtis (Denise) Sieber, McAlisterville, and Dennis R. Patterson, Route 522 South, Lewistown; one sister, Mrs. Richard (Dorthea) Reeder, York; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the 259th Field Artillery Battalion in the European Theatre.
He was a maintenance manager at Standard Steel in Burnham for 42 years, retiring in 1983. He then worked as a guard at Mifflin County Jail for eight years.
He was Lutheran by faith.
He was an avid hunter and woodworker.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Birch Hill Cemetery, Burnham, with Pastor Mike Amedick officiating.
There will be no public viewing.

LEWISTOWN - Anita R. Parker, 83, of 352 Hillsdale Ave., Lewistown died at 1:27 a.m. Thursday May 4, 2000, at Beverly Healthcare-William Penn, Lewistown.
LEWISTOWN - Frank McDowell Parker Jr., 86, of 729A, Highland Ave., Lewistown, formerly of Reedsville, died at 2:55 a.m. Thursday, June 24, 1999, at Brookline Manor, Mifflintown.
LEWISTOWN - T. Thomas "Moe" Parks, 68, of 706 S. Grand St., Lewistown, died at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2000, in the emergency room of Lewistown Hospital.
