Born Sept. 22, 1910, in Belleville, he was a son of the late Gideon J. and Sadie (Speicher) Peachey. His wife, Elsie B. (Glick) Peachey, whom he married May 10, 1934, survives.
Also surviving are: children, Mrs. Raymond J. (Arlene) Byler, Mrs. Lee (Marjorie) Laughlin, and R. Robert Peachey, all of Belleville; sisters and brother, Ella Hartzler, Goshen, Ind., Mrs. Ezra (Verda) Peachey, Belleville, and John A. Peachey, HCR 61, Allensville; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Nelda and Byron Peachey, and two sisters, Ethel Petersheim and Dorothy Peachey.
He was a retired farmer and a truck driver.
He was a member of Locust Grove Mennonite Church, the Senior Mens Sunday School Class and the Hoot Owls Hunting Camp. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Locust Grove Mennonite Church, Belleville, with the Rev. Max Zook, the Rev. Mayard Beitzel and the Rev. Erie Renno officiating. Interment will be in Locust Grove Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Donald E. Baggus Funeral Home, Belleville.

Urie A. Peachey
Born May 19, 1951, in Belleville, he was the son of Aaron Z. and Barbara C. (Zook) Peachey of Belleville. His wife, Nancy N. (Peachey) Peachey of Belleville, survives.
Also surviving are: children, Gideon E. Peachey, Jackson, Ohio, Bennie J. Peachey and Mrs. Noah (Fronie E.) Peight, both of Belleville, Ivan R. Peachey, Barbie N. Peachey, Louie L. Peachey, Elam U. Peachey, Malinda E. Peachey, and Lomie K. Peachey, all at home; brothers and sisters, Rufus J. Peachey and Aaron Z. Peachey, both of Mifflinburg, Israel R. Peachey, Mrs. John R. (Katie P.) Peachey, Annie M. Peachey, Leroy J. Peachey, Ben R. Peachey, and Rudy S. Peachey, all of Belleville, Mrs. Joe R. (Fannie R.) Yoder, Larusal, Mo., and Elmer L. Peachey, Lewisburg; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Y. Peachey on Dec. 14, 1955 and a sister, Lizzie S. Peachey on May 27, 1951.
He was a farmer, retired on disability with multiple sclerosis.
He was a member of the Old Order Amish.
Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Louie D. Peachey residence, 125 Bean Tree Lane, Belleville, with ministers Jonathan Lapp and Josiah H. Peachey officiating. Interment will be in the Whitehall Amish Cemetery, Belleville.
Friends may call from 2-9 p.m. today at the home of the deceased at 2449 SR655, Belleville.
The Bohn Funeral Home, Reedsville, is in charge of arrangements.
Anna R. Pearson
Born March 16, 1911, in McAlevy's Fort, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence M. and Laura A. (Bigelow) Crownover. Her husband, Leroy E. Pearson, died March 10, 1991.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was the last of her immediate family, having been preceded in death by three sisters and seven brothers.
She had worked for Gibboney's Drug Store, Belleville, and Danks, Lewistown.
She attended Watts Memorial United Methodist Church, Belleville.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Valley View Haven Chapel, Belleville, with the Rev. Larry Siikanen and the Rev. Galen Sharp officiating. Interment will be in Lind Memorial Cemetery, Lewistown.
Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services Saturday at the chapel.

Edna Mae Pecht
Born May 29, 1921, in Naginey, she was a daughter of the late Adam F. and Edna Mae (Hidy) Belles. Her husband, Dale S. Pecht, whom she married July 22, 1939, survives.
Also surviving are: sons, Dale E. Pecht, Weedville, and David A. Pecht, 100 Natelind Drive, Milroy; a sister, Ida Gaita, 100 Natelind Drive, Milroy; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother.
She was a homemaker and Protestant by faith.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family at Hoenstine Funeral Home Inc., 75 Logan St., Lewistown, with the Rev. Robert Zorn officiating. Interment will be in Salem Cemetery, Milroy RR.
There will be no public viewing.

Fred L. Pecht
Born March 29, 1936, in Siglerville, he was the son of the late Charles Edwin and Ellen Catherine (Reed) Pecht. His first wife, Inez (Tate) Pecht, whom he married Oct. 26, 1962, died July 9, 1994. His second wife, Joan Meeker Corman Pecht, whom he married May 25, 1997, survives.
Also surviving are: a daughter, LeAnn Pecht Wiest, Dalmatia; two stepdaughters, Shelley Corman, Houston, Texas and Tracey Corman Moore, State College; four brothers, Grant Pecht, Siglerville, William Merle Pecht, Reedsville, Charles Pecht, Centre Hall, and Eugene Pecht, Rebersburg; half-brother, Charles Foust, Spring Mills; and two grandchildren.
He was a 1955 graduate of Penns Valley Area High School, Centre Hall.
He served in the U. S. Air Force and received the Good Conduct Medal and the Air Force Longevity Service Award. He also served in the 112th AC & W Air National Guard in Germany.
He retired in 1997, after 31 years of service, from Corning Asahi, State College. He and his wife also operated Pecht Upholstery in Georges Valley for many years.
He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Centre Hall, served on the Reformed and Lutheran Cemetery Association, Centre Hall, and was a member of the National Rifle Association.
He enjoyed traveling, remodeling and spending time at their mountain home.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Trinity United Church of Christ, with Pastor Leigh Pick officiating. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in Mountain Cemetery in Decker Valley.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. today at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Centre Hall.

Samuel H. Peight
Born Feb. 1, 1923, in Belleville, he was the son of the late Samuel J. and Rachel (Bawel) Peight. His wife, Sarah M. (Swarey) Peight, died April 2, 1989.
Surviving are: children, Joseph S. Peight, Samuel B. Peight, David S. Peight, Steven J. Peight, Louie M. Peight, Benjamin J. Peight, Mrs. Delmar (Lena) Zook, Mrs. Nathan (Linda) Peachey, all of Belleville RR, Henry B. Peight, Somerset, Leroy H. Peight, Romulus, N.Y., Ezra J. Peight, Farwell, Mich., Jesse J. Peight, Allensville, Jacob B. Peight and Edward M. Peight, both of Lewistown, and Sylvan D. Peight, Bedford; sisters, Mrs. Daniel (Julia) Peachey, Belleville RR, and Mrs. Abram (Katie) Peachey, Rockville, Ind.; 71 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three foster great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Crist K. Peight on Dec. 1, 1956, four sisters, three brothers, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
He was a retired farmer, carriage maker, and founder and former owner of Peight's Stores.
He was a member of Pleasant View Amish Mennonite Church, Belleville RR.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Pleasant View Amish Mennonite Church, Belleville RR, with ministers Jesse Lee Spicher and James Yoder officiating. Interment will be in Locust Grove Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Sunday at the church.

Helen C. Penland
Born Aug. 2, 1902, in Christiana, Del., she was the daughter of the late George and Charlotte Bush. Her husband, John H. Penland Sr., preceded her in death on May 17, 1989.
Surviving are: a son, John H. Penland Jr., 150 Stonewall Lane, Lewistown; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was the last of her immediate family, having been preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
She worked as a telephone operator at Sears & Roebuck in Chester, Pa., for 18 years.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be private.
There will be no viewing.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Dementia Unit at Ohesson Manor, 276 Green Ave., Lewistown, Pa. 17044.
Barr Funeral Home, 120 Logan St., Lewistown, is in charge of arrangements.
Thomas L. Pennebaker
Born Aug. 25, 1950, in Lewistown, he was a son of Berdgene E. and Mary (Garlock) Pennebaker of 202 Spring St., Lewistown.
Also surviving are: children, Thomas Haines, Granville, and Crystal Pennebaker and Brett Pennebaker, both of Lewistown; brother and sisters, Paul "Mike" Pennebaker, Oakland Avenue, Lewistown, Mrs. James (Barbara) Dempsey, McVeytown, and Mrs. William (Joyce) Brannan Jr., RR2 Fairview, Lewistown; one grandson.
He was a U.S. Army veteran who served in Vietnam.
He was a forklift operator at Overhead Door until retiring on disability in 1995.
He was a member of the American Legion Guard Post 90, Fraternal Order of Eagles Seven Mountains Aerie #4294, Burnham, and Lewistown Owls Nest Home Association.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown, with the Rev. Jacob T. Traxler officiating. Interment will be in Lind Memorial Cemetery, where military graveside rites will be conducted by V.F.W. Post 7011 of Lewistown.
There is no public viewing, but the family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of services Friday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association, 501 Howard Ave., Bldg. D, Altoona, PA 16601 or to the charity of one's choice.
