Born March 21, 1922, in Bratton Township, he was a son of the late Bruce M. and Alice (Rittenhouse) Renninger. His wife, Betty J. (Miller) Renninger, whom he married Dec. 4, 1948, survives.
Also surviving are: children, Deborah J. Sweitzer, Tacoma, Wash., John A. Renninger, McVeytown, Terry L. Renninger, Burnham, and Sharon C. Devore, Lewistown; sister, Blanche Bilger, Lewistown RR2; a brother, Donald A. Renninger, Beavertown; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Carl E. Renninger, on Aug. 11, 1960; two brothers, David E. Renninger and Russell H. Renninger; and two sisters, Freda Thompson and Erma Youtzy.
He was a United States Army veteran of World War II, having served in the European Theatre.
He was a retired self-employed truck driver.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with the Rev. Marian E. Hartman officiating. Interment will be Pleasant View Cemetery, Mattawana.

Harshbarger Funeral Home, 3 S. Market St., McVeytown, is in charge of arrangements.
Rev. Darleigh B. Replogle
Born Aug. 14, 1914, in Woodbury, he was the son of the late David and Olive (Bloom) Replogle. His wife, Emilie (Kephart) Replogle, whom he married Sept. 26, 1943, in Blandburg, survives.
Also surviving are: children, Dorcas Knutsen and Deborah Hollinger, both of Denver, Pa., Darlene Byler, Akron, Pa., Dwight B. Replogle, Elliottsburg, and David D. Replogle, Oxford; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He retired after working 30 years as pastor of the Brethren in Christ Church, McVeytown.
He was also a member of Pleasant Valley Brethren in Christ Church, Elliotsburg.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Messiah Village Brethren in Christ Chapel, Mechanicsburg, with the Rev. C. Ronald Burgard and the Rev. Randy Tolley officiating. Interment will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Dry Hill Cemetery, Woodbury RR.
Friends may call from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday at the S. Gerald Weaver Funeral Home, Woodbury and from 9 a.m. until the time of the services Wednesday at the Messiah Village Chapel, Mechanicsburg.
Dean H. Reynolds Sr.
Born April 6, 1913, in Franklinville, N.Y., he was a son of the late Hamilton T. and Ruth (Stone) Reynolds. His wife, Anna Kathryn (Diehl) Reynolds, whom he married Aug. 18, 1931, survives.
Also surviving are: a daughter, Anne E. Bigler, Huntingdon; a brother, Richard S. Reynolds, Huntingdon; three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane T. Reynolds; a son, Dean H. Reynolds Jr.; a brother, Hiram P. Reynolds; and a sister, Reba (Reynolds) Cummings.
He was educated in Cold Springs School and later attended Huntingdon High School.
He was a partner in the construction firm of H.T. Reynolds and Sons in Huntingdon. After retiring, he established Standing Stone Antiques in 1970. He then acquired a booth at Dairyland Antiques representing Standing Stone Antiques. He was widely known as an authority on the early pottery makers of Central Pennsylvania and served as a consultant for several antique publications.
He was a member of Huntingdon Presbyterian Church, where he served as a trustee and was one of the founding members of Stone Creek Valley Lions Club.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Huntingdon Presbyterian Church, 508 Mifflin St., Huntingdon, with the Rev. Robert Walsh officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Marklesburg.
Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at John B. Brown Funeral Home, 417 Washington St., Huntingdon, and from 1 p.m. until the time of the services Saturday at the church.

Paul D. Reynolds
Born Oct. 10, 1922, in Fermanagh Township, Juniata County, he was a son of the late David S. and Bertha E. (Pannabaker) Reynolds. His wife, Betty L. (Yetter) Reynolds, whom he married June 8, 1946, of Brookline Manor and Retirement Village, Mifflintown RR1, survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. James M. (Kathy R.) Hockenberry, Mifflintown RR4 and two grandsons.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Marjorie Ann Reynolds, and he was the last of his immediate family.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He retired from the service department of United Telephone Company, Mifflintown and during his retirement, he was a driver for J&D Inc., Reedsville and CARS, Lewistown.
He was a member of the Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Mifflintown and past president and member of the Mifflintown Borough Council.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Brown Funeral Home, 100 Bridge St., Mifflintown, with the Rev. Douglas Compton officiating. Interment will be in the Westminster Presbyterian Cemetery, Mifflintown.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of the services Saturday at the funeral home.
Patricia L. Rheam
Born Jan. 23, 1934, in Belleville, she was the daughter of the late J. Guy and Margaret (Donahey) Harmon. Her husband, Frank Rheam Jr., died Nov. 22, 1984.
Surviving are: a son, Curtis Kent Rheam, Altoona; brothers and sisters, Robert K. Harmon, Malta Home, Granville, Mrs. Robert C. (Betty Jean) Heimbaugh, Belleville RR, Gary L. Harmon, Havertown, Charles K. Harmon, Harrisburg, and Gregory L. Harmon, Yeagertown.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis G. Harmon on April 14, 1966.
She was a homemaker and earlier had been a telephone operator for United Telephone in the Belleville office.
She was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church, Belleville.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the St. John Lutheran Church, Belleville, with the Rev. Lois Martin officiating. Interment will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Belleville.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of the services Saturday at the church.

Jacob I. Rhine
Born June 14, 1902, in Mifflin County, he was a son of the late Henry L. and Mary E. (Smith) Rhine.
Surviving are: two sisters, Anna G. Shirey, 538 E. Walnut St., Lewistown, and Mrs. Glen R. (Mary) Dickerson, Virginia.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
He was a self-employed farmer.
He was a life-long member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Alfarata, and a charter member of Decatur Grange, Lewistown.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Heller-Hoenstine Burnham Funeral Home, 108 First Avenue, Burnham, with the Rev. Clyde B. Singh officiating. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family at Alfarata Lutheran Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Family will provide all flowers.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 573 Alfarata Road, Lewistown, PA 17044.
Lester E. Rhodes
Born Oct. 29, 1937, in McVeytown, he was a son of the late Lloyd and Margaret (Youtz) Rhodes. His companion, Lovie Smith of 1941 Allen St., Allentown, survives.
Also surviving are: a son, Darrell E. Rhodes, Beaver Springs; brother and sister, William Rhodes, McVeytown and Mrs. Russell (Barbara) Packer, Burnham; two grandchildren; one step-granddaughter and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Darrell E. Rhodes II and one step-grandson, Paul Blazer.
He was a truck driver, having been employed by M.T.S. Trucking, Allentown and most recently as a tour bus driver for Biber Bus Lines, Kuntztown.
He was a member of Teamsters Local, Allentown.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Pine Glen Church of the Brethren, Pine Glen Road, Lewistown, with the Rev. Donald Peters officiating. Interment will be in Pine Glen Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
Friends may call from noon until the time of the services Wednesday at the church.

Raymond L. 'Skip' Rhodes II
Born on Oct. 15, 1954, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Raymond L. and Pauline M. (Harpster) Rhodes. His wife, Robyn J. (Wolford) Rhodes, survives.
Also surviving are: three sons, Michael C. Rhodes, New Orleans, Matthew C. Rhodes and Andrew R. Rhodes, both at home; one brother, Robert F. Rhodes, Oklahoma City, OK; three sisters, Marcella Draus, Korn Krest, Mary Stout and Bonnie May, both of Nanticoke; paternal grandmother, Mary Rhodes, Lewistown.
He was employed by L & H Trucking, Hanover.
He was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, Hanover, Irishtown Fire Company and Adams County Volunteer Firemen's Association.
He graduated from Elmer L. Myers High School in the Wilkes Barre Area School District in 1972 and served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam.
The funeral service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 13, at Feiser Funeral Home Inc., 302 Lincoln Way West, New Oxford, with Pastor Bruce P. Bouchard officiating. Friends will be received 6-7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Final disposition will be at the convenience of the family.

MCVEYTOWN - Roy E. "Ed" Renninger, 77, of Ferguson Valley Road, McVeytown, died at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2000, in the emergency room of Lewistown Hospital.
MECHANICSBURG - Rev. Darleigh B. Replogle, 85, of 587 Locust Lane Messiah Village, Mechanicsburg, formerly of Lewistown, died Saturday, Oct. 16, 1999, at the village, following an extended illness.
HUNTINGDON - Dean H. Reynolds Sr., 86, of 320 27th Ave., Huntingdon, died at 8:59 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, 1999, at Huntingdon Manor.
MIFFLINTOWN - Paul D. Reynolds, 77, of Brookline Manor and Retirement Village, Mifflintown RR1, formerly of Mifflintown, died at 8:50 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2000, at the manor.
MIFFLIN - Patricia L. Rheam, 65, a resident of Locust Grove Retirement Center, Mifflin, formerly of Green Street, Belleville, died at 4:20 a.m. Wednesday, April 21, 1999, at the center.
LEWISTOWN - Jacob I. Rhine, 97, a resident of Ohesson Manor, Lewistown, and formerly of McClure RR1, died at 5:45 p.m. Monday, Jan. 31, 2000, at the manor.
ALLENTOWN - Lester E. Rhodes, 62, of 1941 Allen St., Allentown, died at 8:15 p.m. Saturday, March 11, 2000, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.
