Born Dec. 15, 1945, in Fort Lewis, Washington, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse F. Smith Sr., Enola.
Also surviving are: children, Michael P. Smith, Centre Hall, Emily K. Smith, Hershey, and Jessie M. Smith, Mifflintown; brother and sisters, Jesse F. Smith Jr., State College, Pamela M. Corl, Enola, Sandra L. Smith, Harrisburg, Kay Jan Kaufman, Etters, and Dona R. Troup, York; and several nieces and nephews.
He was a self-employed carpenter and an avid guitarist and song writer.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Sullivan Funeral Home, Enola. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
Friends may call from noon until the time of the services Wednesday at the funeral home.

William J. Smith Sr.
Born July 17, 1940, in Milroy, he was a son of the late Ralph William and Margaretta L. (Fisher) Smith Jr. His wife, Klara (Muetzel) Smith, whom he married Nov. 17, 1959, survives.
Also surviving are: children, Mrs. Michael (Patricia) Zannino, William James Smith Jr. and Mrs. Douglas (Julie) Bair, all of Lewistown, Mrs. Randy (Tina) Kuhns, Milroy, and Ralph T. Smith, Siglerville; a brother, James A. Smith, Granville; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert L. Smith, a sister, Eleanor Kuhns, and a daughter, Christine Smith.
He retired on disability from Overhead Door Corp., Lewistown. Earlier in life, he had been a truck driver.
He had served in the United States Army.
He was a member of Milroy United Methodist Church and Milroy American Legion.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bohn Funeral Home, 55 N. Main St., Reedsville, with the Rev. Bert Bowen officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Milroy.
Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 112 N. Wayne St., Lewistown, PA 17044.
Arthur 'Neal' Snook
Born on May 25, 1926, in Milroy, he was a son of the late Andrew R. and Katherine (Curtin) Snook. His wife, Joan S. (Shirey) Snook, whom he married June 17, 1951, survives.
Also surviving are: two daughters, Beth Ann Nerino, Lykens, and Pamela K. Weaver, McClure; two sons, Gregory W. Snook, Middleburg RR4, and Todd A. Snook, Myerstown; a sister, Rebecca Barrett, Goldsboro, N.C.; three brothers, Ross Snook, Beavertown RR1, John D. "Jack" Snook, Beaver Springs, and Thomas Snook, Beaver Springs RR1; and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, James, Lawrence and Michael Snook.
He was a member of Beaver Lutheran Church.
In 1993, he retired from Paulsen Wirerope Corp., Sunbury maintenance department after 21 years of service. Prior to that, he had worked at American Viscose for 25 years.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Pacific Theater and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Heiser-Hoffman Post No. 5640, Middleburg, Erman E. Lepley American Legion Post No. 23, Beaver Springs, and the Beaver Springs Fire Company.
He enjoyed gardening and reading.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Beaver Lutheran Church, Beaver Springs RR1, with the Rev. Stanley D. Reep officiating. Interment will be in the Adamsburg Cemetery, where a graveside military service will be conducted by American Legion Post 23.
Friends may call 4-9 p.m. Sunday at Aurand Funeral Homes Inc., 316 W. Market St., Beavertown and the family will receive friends 7-9 p.m.

Malinda M. Snook
Born May 6, 1959, she was a daughter of Shirley (Richard) Fisher, Bannerville and the late Alvin L. Zeigler. Her husband, Lynn "Butch" Snook, whom she married May 8, 1976, survives.
Also surviving are: daughters, Tonya D. Renninger, Beaver Springs RR1, Nichole L. Dalawy, Middleburg RR1 and Michelle R. Snook, at home; sisters and brothers, Sonya L. Zimmerman, Mifflintown, Dorraine G. Ritter, Selinsgrove, Caroline A. Tate and John R. Zeigler, both of McClure RR2, Wayne C. Zeigler, McClure, Harold L. Fisher Jr., Beaver Springs, and Jason B. 'Fish" Fisher, Bannerville; a granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lynn Marie Snook on July 23, 1976 and a sister, Leah M. Shawver on Dec. 30, 1996.
She attended West Snyder High School.
She was employed by Ira M. Middleswarth Potato Chips as a laborer for 20 years.
She enjoyed making wood crafts.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Beavertown chapel of Aurand Funeral Homes Inc., 316 W. Market St., Beavertown, with the Rev. John Grumbine officiating. Interment will be in the Black Oak Ridge Cemetery, McClure RR2.
Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 7-9 p.m.

Mary A. Snook
She was born Dec. 3, 1914, to the late Ciro and Rose (Ferrazzuola) Simonetti. Her husband, James M. Snook, preceded her in death in 1967.
She is survived by a daughter, Rosalind L. Snook, 104 Clover Ave., Yeagertown, brothers and sisters, Samuel Simonetti, Harrisburg, Michael Simonetti, Perdox, Ann Zais, South Wayne Street, Lewistown, Mrs. Richard (Ida) Treaster, Broad Street, Milroy, Rose Marie Simonetti, and Victor Simonetti, Ewardtown, and two grandchildren whom she raised, Regina Miller, Rochester Hills, Mich., and Denise Maber, Lewistown, and three great-grandchildren.
She retired as a cook for the Holiday Inn in Burnham in 1984, and earlier in life she was employed by American Viscose Corporation, Lewistown.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 24, 2000, at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home Inc., 108 First Ave., Burnham with the Rev. Jacob T. Traxler officiating.
Interment will be at Juniata Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mary K. (Long-Spagnoletti) Snook
Born May 25, 1919, in McClure, she was a daughter of the late Charles C. and Estella (Miller) Long. Her husband, J. Fred Snook, whom she married July 29, 1949, survives.
Also surviving are: children, Donald Spagnoletti, Reedsville, Shelva (Spagnoletti) Manzak, Pahrump, Nev., Judy Ann (Spagnoletti) Miller, Port St. Lucie, Fla., and James W. Spagnoletti, Camp Hill; brother and sister, Erma K. Smith, McClure, and Miller C. Long, Pottstown; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Miriam Long, and a brother, James W. Long.
She worked at F.M.C. and was a member of the 25 Year Club.
She was a member of Holy Communion Lutheran Church, Yeagertown.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bohn Funeral Home, Reedsville, with the Rev. Philip C. Tundel officiating. Interment will be in Juniata Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Family will provide flowers, but memorial contributions may be made to Holy Communion Lutheran Church, North Main Street, Yeagertown, PA 17099.
Nadean K. Snook
Born June 27, 1939 in Middlecreek Township, Snyder County, she was the daughter of the late Elvin and Mae Rebecca (Predix) Hoffer. Her husband Ross Andrew Snook, whom she married Aug. 20, 1956, survives.
Also surviving are four daughters and three sons, Virginia Mae Snook and Karen Louise Carter, both of Beavertown RR1, Nancy Cecile Zimmerman of Vicksburg, Michelle Ann Snook of East Waterford RR1, Ross Andrew Snook of Paxtonville Road, Middleburg, James Arthur Snook of Willow Grove and Lawrence David Snook of Beavertown RR1, sisters, Ethel Yerger of West Milton, June Metzgar of Water Street, Selinsgrove and Pauline Mitchell, Betty Bingaman and Judy Stacey, all of Selinsgrove RR1, 12 grandchildren and one foster grandson.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter and brothers, Simon and Elvin Predix.
She was a homemaker, who enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was a member of the Manbeck Mennonite Church of Beaver Springs RR1, and she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Beaver Springs Fire Company.
Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Manbeck Mennonite Church with the Rev. Carl Geissinger and the Rev. E. Denton Mallonee officiating. Interment will be in Troxelville Union Cemetery, Troxelville.
Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Hummel Funeral Home, 574 Hill St., Middleburg.

Pauline E. Snook
Born Feb. 15, 1912, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Emma (McCormick) Freed. Her husband, Russell R. Snook, died July 7, 1978.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lloyd (Dolores) Bickhart, 4 Oakland Ave., Lewistown and one granddaughter.
She was the last of her immediate family, having been preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
She was a homemaker and early in life worked for the American Viscose Corporation.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Hoenstine Funeral Home Inc., 75 Logan St., Lewistown, with the Rev. Gerald A. Krum officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Rock Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

CENTRE HALL - Vaughen T. Smith, 53, of Centre Hall, formerly of Enola, died Saturday Aug. 21, 1999, at his parents home in Enola.
MILROY - William J. Smith Sr., 59, of 24 Woodlawn Avenue, Milroy, died at 4:10 a.m Monday, Feb. 7, 2000, at Lewistown Hospital.
BEAVER SPRINGS - Arthur "Neal" Snook, 73, of Center Avenue, Beaver Springs, died at 1 a.m. Friday, Aug. 20, at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Md. He had been in ill health for the past six years.
MCCLURE - Malinda M. Snook, 40, of McClure RR2, died at 6:11 p.m. Saturday, March 11, 2000, of injuries suffered following an automobile accident.
YEAGERTOWN - Mary A. Snook, 85, of 104 Clover Ave., Yeagertown, died at 5 a.m. Friday, Jan. 21, 2000 at her daughter's residence.
YEAGERTOWN - Mary K. (Long-Spagnoletti) Snook, 80, of 201 N. Main St., Yeagertown, died at 1:25 a.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2000, in the emergency room of Lewistown Hospital.
BEAVERTOWN - Nadean K. Snook, 60, of Beavertown RR1, died at 10:10 p.m. Thursday, April 13, 2000, at her home after a six-month illness.
LEWISTOWN - Pauline E. Snook, 87, 200 S. Pine Road, Lewistown, died at 11:05 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1999, at her home.
