Born Aug. 1, 1971, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of Richard Henry, McAlisterville and Shirley R. Soder, McAlisterville. She is survived by her companion, Christopher D. Smith, McAlisterville.
Also surviving are: brothers and sisters, Randall J. Soder, Port Trevorton, Timothy L. Soder, Jeffery D. Soder, Mifflin, Brian C. Soder and William J. Soder, both of McAlisterville, Laurel A. Gehers, Thompsontown, and Lynne M. Cookson, Duncannon; and grandmother, Julia Helwig, McAlisterville.
She was preceded in death by grandfather, Russell Helwig in 1990 and a brother, Michael A. Soder in 1984.
She was employed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the Civil Service Bureau, the Department of Health and Vital Statistics, and the Department of Education as a clerical secretary.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. John's United Methodist Church, McAlisterville RR2, with the Rev. Ronald E. Landis officiating. Interment will be in Lost Creek Presbyterian Cemetery, McAlisterville.
There will be no public viewing, but there will be a closed casket visitation from 7-9 p.m. today at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
The Ronald C. Sheaffer Funeral Home, 16 Westfall St., McAlisterville, is in charge of arrangements.
Gerald J. Sollers
Born July 12, 1923, in Wood Township, Huntingdon County, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Sollers. His wife, Betty Jane (Snyder) Sollers, whom he married Nov. 20, 1946, survives.
Also surviving are: children, Rhonda J. Austin, Lewistown, Gerald R. Sollers, Wayne R. Sollers, Gary L. Sollers, Mrs. Luther (Judy K.) Varner, all of McVeytown, and Jerry E. Sollers, Burnt Cabins; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Hazel Smith, by whom he was raised following the death of his mother, and Beatrice Fields.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, having served in the European Theatre.
He retired in 1982 from General Motors, Wilmington, Del., after 30 years of service.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Harshbarger Funeral Home, 3 S. Market St., McVeytown, with the Rev. William Wollett officiating. Interment will be in Juniata Memorial Park, Lewistown.
Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
John C. Solt Jr.
Born Dec. 2, 1946, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Betty M. (Pannebaker) and John C. Solt Sr. His wife, Cynthia J. (Knepp) Solt, whom he married July 16, 1964, survives.
Also surviving are: children, Kevin D. Solt, 535 Fairview Ave., Lewistown, Michael T. Solt, 914 W. 5th St., Lewistown, and Melissa A. Foulk, 1017 N. Beech St., Burnham; sister and brother, Mrs. Brad (Connie) Shotzberger, 122 N. Main St., Yeagertown and Ernest C. Solt, 80 Scenic Drive, Lewistown; and five grandchildren.
He was a crane operator in the melt shop of Standard Steel, Burnham for 33 years.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles 4294, the United Steel Workers of America, Local 1940, and a life member of the Yeagertown Fire Co.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Heller-Hoenstine Burnham Funeral Home, 108 First Ave., Burnham, with the Rev. Gerald Peachey officiating.
Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Katharina Solt
Born Dec. 9, 1936, in Saarlouis, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Marie (Morsch) Recktenwald. Her husband, Robert C. Solt, whom she married April 26, 1961, survives.
Also surviving are: children, Mrs. Rick (Theresia "Peggy") Pennington, Burnham, John R. Solt, Lewistown, Fred W. Solt, Alfarata, Katharine M. T. Solt, Belltown, and Mrs. Rodney (Christa R.) Wagner, Wagner; two brothers and one sister, who reside in Germany; and 11 grandchildren.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church, Alfarata.
Services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at Heller- Hoenstine Burnham Funeral Home, 108 First Ave., Burnham, with the Rev. Kenneth Longfield officiating. Interment will be in Juniata Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Aurelio "Al" Sorace
Born March 30, 1937, in Rockledge, he was a son of the late Antonio and Mary Concetta (Guido) Sorace. His wife, Bonnie Jean (Steel) Sorace, whom he married Feb. 4, 1970, survives.
Also surviving are: children, Renee Susanne Long, Elizabethtown, Carole Danene Sorace, Edison, N.J., and Carolyn Mertz and Carl D. Carver, both of Buena Park, Calif.; brothers, Dominic Sorace, Sarver, Roland Sorace, Huntingdon Valley, Frank Sorace, Warminister, and Joseph Sorace, Southampton; and nine grandchildren.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1956-1958.
He attended Lower Moreland elementary and high schools, Huntingdon Valley. He was an instructional aide at the Juniata-Mifflin Area Vocational Technical School in Lewistown.
He had owned and operated The Village Store in McAlisterville and worked in commercial sales for Property Management Inc., Lemoyne.
He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, McAlisterville. He enjoyed cooking and fishing.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, McAlisterville, with the Rev. James Park Bricker officiating. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Friday at Ronald C. Sheaffer Funeral Home, 16 Westfall St., McAlisterville.

Robert Leonard Sorth
He was born Dec. 20, 1919, in Erie. His wife, Mary Emma (Kearns) Sorth, formerly of the Lewistown area, survives.
Also surviving are: brothers and sister, Norman A. Sorth, Columbus, Ohio, Hans Kenneth Sorth and Frances E. Backstrom, both of Harborcreek.
He was a United States Marine Corps veteran of World War II, having served in the Pacific Theatre.
He was a 1953 graduate of Penn State University.
He worked 25 years as a teacher and guidance counselor in the Ridgewood public schools in New Jersey.
He served as president of the Ridgewood Education Association and was a life member of both the New Jersey and National Education Association.
Memorial services will be held this spring in Blairsville, Ga., and this summer on Grindstone Island, Clayton, N.Y.

The San Antonio Mortuary, 703 Palo Alto Road, San Antonio, Texas, is in charge of arrangements.
Katelyn Ashley Soulliard
Also surviving are: brothers, Daniel Soulliard Jr. and Jeffery Soulliard, both at home; grandparents, Charles Soulliard of Mifflintown RR3, Barbara Soulliard and Daniel Kachel, both of Kinzers, and Sandy Harbaugh of Honey Grove; great-grandparents, Dora Kachel of Georgetown and Tom and Rhoda Fiester of Gap.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Adams Cemetery, Mifflintown RR2, with the Rev. Jack Twombly officiating.
There will be no viewing.
The Guss Funeral Home, 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown, is in charge of arrangements.
Genella V. Spade
Born July 8, 1919, in Richfield, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Sovilla (Swartz) Pyle. Her husband, Charles A. Spade, whom she married Feb. 7, 1940, died May 6, 1989.
Surviving are: daughters, Arlene M. Frontz and Shirley A. Dressler, both of Thompsontown RR1; brother and sister, Clarence Pyle, Mount Pleasant Mills, and Minnie Meiser, Millerstown RR2; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Adam, Elmer, John, Samuel and Howard Pyle; sisters, Amey Pontius, Maria Wochley, Ella Shellenberger and Dorothy Swartz; and a great-grandson, Zachary Maneval in 1998.
She attended Center School, Seven Stars.
She was a homemaker and was employed by Lyon Fashions, McAlisterville, as a seamstress for 28 years until her retirement in 1981.
She was a lifelong member of Mount Zion United Methodist Church, Richfield RR1, where she was a member of the United Methodist Women. She was also a member of Fayette Fire Company ladies auxiliary and the Juniata County Republican Women's Council.
She enjoyed flowers and sewing.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at Mount Zion United Methodist Church, Richfield RR1, with the Rev. Dr. Almon D. Baird and the Rev. Joseph R. Heeg officiating. Interment will follow in Richfield Union Cemetery, Richfield.
Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday at Ronald C. Sheaffer Funeral Home, 16 Westfall St., McAlisterville, where the family will be present from 7-9 p.m.

MCVEYTOWN - Gerald J. Sollers, 76, Loop Road, McVeytown, died at 6:10 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 21, 1999, in the emergency room of Lewistown Hospital.
YEAGERTOWN - John C. Solt Jr., 52, of 120 N. Main St., Yeagertown, died at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, 1999, at his residence.
MCCLURE - Katharina Solt, 62, 202 Mail Pouch Road, McClure, died at 11:45 p.m. Monday, Nov. 22, 1999, at Lewistown Hospital.
