Richard D. Wagner
Born May 6, 1927, in Belleville, he was the son of the late Daniel C. and Mamie C. (Smoker) Wagner. His wife, Jeanne L. (Stuck) Wagner, survives.
Also surviving are: children, Richelle J. Sampl, Cullowhee, N.C., the Rev. Richard C. Wagner, Jacksonville, Fla., the Rev. Barry L. Wagner, Clermont, Fla. and Steven J. Wagner, North Lawrence, Ohio; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
He was owner and operator of Wagner Enterprises, Brooksville, Fla.
He was a member of Sylva First United Methodist Church, Sylva, N.C. and the New Beginnings Sunday school class.
Services were held Wednesday, May 17, 2000 at the Sylva First United Methodist Church, Sylva, N.C., with the Rev. Joseph Fulk officiating. Interment was in the Wike Cemetery, Cullowhee, N.C.

Robert C. Wagner
Born June 25, 1928, in West Beaver Township, Snyder County, he was a son of the late Franklin S. and Rosey (Krepps) Wagner. His wife, Betty Weader, whom he married Dec. 10, 1951, survives.
Also surviving are: children, Cynthia L. Smith, Lewistown, Sharon L. Baker, Spring Mills, Kathi J. Fisher, McClure RR2, and Robert Lee Wagner, McClure RR2; sisters and brothers, Myrtle Barkett, Hershey, Shirley Grubbs, Carlisle, Clair and George Wagner, both of McClure RR1; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Wilson and Della Spaide, and three brothers, Elder Wagner, Russell Wagner and Albert Wagner.
He retired in 1968 as a Captain from the United States Army after serving 22 years, last serving in the Vietnam War and Korean Conflict. He also served in Germany, England, Guam, Maryland, Georgia, Texas and New Jersey.
He retired from Standard Steel, Burnham, in 1988 after 20 years of service.
He was a member of Bannerville Church of the Brethren and a member of both the Bannerville and McClure volunteer fire companies. He was also a member of the Retired Officers Association; the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7011,
Lewistown; the Jaffa Temple, Altoona; the Scottish Rite, Augusta, Ga.; the Mifflin County Shrine Club; the Belton Lodge No. 166, Belton, Texas; and the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge No. 143, Lewistown.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Bannerville Church of the Brethren, with the Rev. Liane Wagner officiating. Interment will be in Bannerville Church of the Brethren Cemetery, where graveside military services will be conducted by American Legion Post 942, McClure.

Wallace 'Wally' H. Wagner
Born July 21, 1921, in Penn Township, Centre County, he was the son of the late Charles and Bertha (Reiber) Wagner. His wife, Alberta "Bertie" H. (Faust) Wagner, whom he married Dec. 20, 1941 in Winchester, Va., survives.
Also surviving are: children, Bonnie Fohringer, Centre Hall and Warren "Butch" L. Wagner, Fredricksburg, Va.; and two grandsons.
From 1944-1954, he worked at Hillcrest Poultry Farms in Siglerville and later as a commissary manager at Rockview State Correctional Institution, retiring July 15, 1981. He had also worked at Don's Garage in Centre Hall.
He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Centre Hall and a member of the former E.U.B. Church in Centre Hall, where he served as church treasurer. He was also a member of Centre Hall Fire Co.
There will be no public viewing.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral Service, 226 S. Pennsylvania Ave., Centre Hall, with Pastor Jody C. Reese officiating. Interment will be in the Reformed and Lutheran Cemetery, Centre Hall.

Zella Mae Wagner
Born Nov. 3, 1915, in Cedar Hill, Mifflin County, she was a daughter of the late John W. and Cecelia A. (Sausman) Bonson. Her husband, Roy F. Wagner, whom she married Aug. 19, 1934, died June 19, 1996.
Surviving are: children, John F. Wagner, Cocolamus, Paul A. Wagner and Betty L. Paige, both of Mifflintown RR3, Roy A. Wagner, McVeytown, Mrs. Harry (Shirley D.) Colabine, Beavertown, and Mrs. Robert (Gladys) Boyer Jr., Port Royal; sisters, Mary E. Kerstetter and Florence J. Smoker, both of Milroy, and Mrs. Crawford (Ruth) Price, Lewistown; 24 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Herman E. Bonson.
She had worked for FMC Corporation, Lewistown, and the former Lyons Fashion, Mifflintown.
She was a member of Tuscarora Church of the Brethren, Port Royal RR2.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Rex Funeral Home, Port Royal, with the Rev. Charles Sheaffer and the Rev. Joe Samples officiating. Interment will be in Goodwill Cemetery, Bunkertown, Juniata County.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Larie R. Waite
Born Feb. 4, 1994, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of Timothy and Melissa (Wagner) Waite of McAlisterville.
Also surviving are: a brother, Adam Waite, at home; maternal grandparents, Kenneth R. and Laura B. Wagner, Mifflintown RR2; paternal grandmother, Darlene F. Banks, Mill Creek; and maternal great-grandmothers, Emma L. Wagner, Locust Grove Retirement Village, Mifflin, and Harriet Brown, Mifflintown.
She was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Melvin R. Waite; maternal great-grandfathers, Stuart E. Wagner and William Brown; paternal great-grandparents, Leroy and Verna Mae Waite and Paul and Florence Branter.
She attended Fayette Elementary School, McAlisterville and Centre Lutheran Church, Centre.
She enjoyed riding bicycle, rollerblading, playing dolls, Super Nintendo and computer games. She also assisted handicapped children in preschool.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Centre Lutheran Church, Centre, with the Rev. Claude R. Baublitz officiating. Interment will be in Lost Creek Presbyterian Cemetery, McAlisterville.
Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Friday at Ronald C. Sheaffer Funeral Home, 16 Westfall St., McAlisterville, where family will be present from 7-9 p.m.

Mary V. Walker
Born Jan. 7, 1912, in Tyrone, she was a daughter of the late George G. and Laura (Hicks) Lykens Sr.
Her husband, Paul E. Walker, whom she married in Tyrone on May 29, 1941, preceded her in death on March 11, 1986.
Surviving are: a son, Paul D. Walker, Tyrone RD3; a sister, Esther Stryker, Lewistown; a grandson and a great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Judith Ann, six sisters and five brothers.
She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church of Tyrone.
A funeral service was held Friday at the Richard H. Shearer Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr. Dennis Reedy officiating. Interment was in Eastlawn Cemetery.
Robert O. Walker
Born Oct. 15, 1925, in Bradford Township, Clearfield County, he was a son of the late Robert and Blanche Eliza (McKeown) Walker Stewart. His wife, Rovena (Stepp) Walker, whom he married in July of 1950, survives.
Also surviving are: two daughters, Mrs. Rev. Douglas (Jayne) Kelley, Mifflintown, and Mrs. Dr. Timothy (Susan) Vollmer, Bloomsburg; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his step-father, Rev. S. Wade Stewart.
He was a 1943 graduate of Brookville High School and a 1951 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
He joined the U.S. Navy in July 1943, and was trained to be a radio operator-gunner in Navy Torpedo Squadron 87 aboard the U.S.S. Ticonderoga. He participated in the final campaign of World War II in the Pacific Theatre. In July 1945, he took part in the sinking of the Japanese battleship Hyuga at Kure Naval Base. He was discharged in April 1945.
In 1951, he was commissioned as Second Lieutenant in Regular Army. His tours of duty included Korea, Vietnam, Okinawa, France, Germany. He was a deputy C2 of XXIV U.S. Army Corp in Vietnam from 1968-1969. He then became an Executive Officer of the U.S. Intelligence School for 1969 and 1970. He was Chief of Exploitation Branch Division in Fort Holabird, Md., and was on staff of the U.S. Army Europe until he retired June 1, 1972.
He was awarded the following medals: Legion of Merit (Vietnam), Bronze Star (Vietnam), Air Medal (World War II and Vietnam), the Meritorious Achievement Award (Vietnam and Germany), Army Commendation Medal (Ft. Holabird), and numerous service medals for World War II and Vietnam.
He was a member of the adjunct faculty of Mansfield University, teaching GED classes at Tioga County Prison.
He was a member of First Baptist Church, Wellsboro. He was also a member of the Wellsboro Ambulance Association and was trained as a paramedic; the Veterans Club, Wellsboro; and the American Legion, Wellsboro.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church, Wellsboro, with the Rev. John McNassor officiating. Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery, where there will be a graveside service.
Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, Main Street, Wellsboro.
Family will provide all flowers, but memorial contributions may be made to: Rev. Samuel Wade Stewart Scholarship Fund, Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Lancaster and City Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19151.
Eugene W. Wall
Born Feb. 1, 1926, in Minor Hill, Huntingdon County, he was a son of the late John Wesley and Charlotte (Hoffer) Wall. His wife, Erma M. (Yeater) Stidinger Wall, of Port Royal RR2, whom he married June 13, 1970, survives.
Also surviving are: two sisters, Carrie Fike, McVeytown, and Mrs. Dave (Audrey) Foose, Millerstown RR3.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Paul Wall, John Wall and Walter Wall Sr.
He was a retired employee of Empire Kosher Poultry Inc., Mifflintown, with 25 years of service.
He was a member of McAlisterville United Methodist Church.
Services will be held at 11 a.m Wednesday at the Rex Funeral Home, Port Royal, with the Rev. Donald W. Raffensperger officiating. Interment will be in Old Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal.
Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. today at Rex Funeral Home, Port Royal.

CULLOWHEE, N.C. - Richard D. Wagner, 73, of Bugle Boy Lane, Cullowhee, N.C., died Saturday, May 13, 2000, at his residence.
MCCLURE - Robert C. Wagner, 71, of McClure RR2 died at 4:54 a.m. Friday, Feb. 25, 2000, at his home after a brief illness.
CENTRE HALL - Wallace "Wally" H. Wagner, 77, of Centre Hall, died Sunday, April 25, 1999, at Centre Community Hospital, State College.
MIFFLINTOWN - Zella Mae Wagner, 83, of Mifflintown RR3, died at 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26, 1999, at the home of her daughter, Betty L. Paige, Mifflintown RR3.
MCALISTERVILLE - Larie R. Waite, 5, of McAlisterville, died at 8:07 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, 1999, in the emergency room of Lewistown Hospital from injuries resulting from an automobile-pedestrian accident.
TYRONE - Mary V. Walker, 87, of 114 E. 10th St., Tyrone, died at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, at the Tyrone Hospital following a brief illness.
WELLSBORO - LTC Robert O. Walker, 74, of 28 Meade St., Wellsboro, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1999, at Lewistown Hospital.
PORT ROYAL - Eugene W. Wall, 74, of Port Royal RR2, died at 3:12 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 13, 2000, in the emergency room of Lewistown Hospital.
